Use of the device Assembly: Insert the hose into the air intake on the tank and turn clockwise. When you hear the "click", the hose (Figure 2) will be ready for use. After use, press the button on the hose(button 4 figure 1) and pull on the end. Insert the handle into the tube (figure 3). Assemble the 2 tubes. Insert the floor brush into the end of the tube. Pull out the necessary length of cable. Never pull the cable beyond the yellow line to avoid damaging the automatic rewind system. Connect the appliance to the mains. Switch on the appliance by pressing the on/off button(button 11 figure 1). You can adjust the air outlet flow on the hose handle. Using the accessories : Insert the extensions into the tube (use the combination that best suits your needs) : Floor brush(element 1, figure 1): specially designed for cleaning hard floors and carpets. Nozzle/brush (element 16, figure 1): specially recommended for grooves, hard-to-reach corners and textile surfaces. When you have finished using the appliance: Switch off the appliance by pressing the on/off switch and unplug it. Press the rewind button to automatically rewind the cable(button 9, figure 1). This appliance is fitted with a handle to make it easier to carry. Emptying the dust container:(figure 4) When the dust reaches a quarter of the tank capacity, empty the tank as shown in figure 4 (step 1 & 2), then replace it. Open the top part of the tank (step 3), remove the round paper filter and detach the red part of the tank by turning it slightly anti-clockwise. Empty the tank. Cleaning and maintenance Unplug the appliance before cleaning and wait for it to cool down. Clean the body of the appliance with a damp cloth and leave to dry. Clean the tank and the red part with a dry, lint-free cloth. If necessary, you can rinse these parts under water. Allow to dry thoroughly before refitting. The round paper filter must not come into contact with water. After 10 uses, you can remove the paper filter (item 14 figure 1) and either tap it lightly to remove the dust, or vacuum the filter with another hoover. Do not use solvents, abrasive products to clean the appliance.
