How to turn on the DOMO DO155A air cooler?

To turn on the device, press one of the speed buttons: LOW (low), MID. (medium) or HIG. (high). The appliance will blow at the selected speed.

How to use the oscillation function?

Press the OSC. button to activate left-right oscillation. You can also manually tilt the ventilation grille up or down to adjust the direction of the airflow.

How to activate the humidifier or cooler mode?

Press the COOLER button to turn the function on or off. Make sure the water tank is filled between the min and max levels. For better cooling, first freeze the included cooling packs and place them in the tank.

How to clean the water filter (honeycomb)?

Remove the honeycomb filter, wash it in lightly soapy water with a soft cloth, rinse thoroughly to remove any soap residue, then let it dry for at least 4 hours before reinstalling.

How to clean the water tank?

Unplug the device, remove the water tank completely by releasing the pump locking device. Clean it with a mild detergent, rinse and let it dry completely. Make sure the pump is properly repositioned before using the device again.

What is the warranty of this device?

The device is guaranteed for 2 years from the date of purchase. Accessories and wearing parts are guaranteed for 6 months. The warranty requires presentation of the receipt.

Can I use the device outdoors?

No, the device is designed for indoor use only. Do not use or store it outdoors.

What to do if the power cord is damaged?

If the cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its authorized after-sales service, or a qualified technician to avoid any risk. Do not use the device in this condition.

How to install the casters?

Attach the casters by snapping them under the device as shown in the manual. They allow easy movement of the device.

Can the device be used without water?

Yes, the device can operate as a simple fan without water. Use the speed buttons (LOW, MID., HIG.) without activating the COOLER function. The humidifier/cooler mode requires water in the tank.

This appliance has a two year warranty period. During this period the manufacturer is responsible for any failures that are the direct result of construction failure. When these failures occur the appliance will be repaired or replaced if necessary. The warranty will not be valid when the damage to the appliance is caused by wrong use, not following the instructions or repairs executed by a third party. The guarantee is issued with the original till receipt. All parts, which are subject to wear, are excluded from the warranty. If your device breaks down within the 2-year warranty period, you can return the device together with your receipt to the shop where you purchased it.

The guarantee on accessories and components that are liable to wear-and-tear is only 6 months.

The guarantee and responsibility of the supplier and manufacturer lapse automatically in the following cases:

• If the instructions in this manual have not been followed.
  · In case of incorrect connection, e.g., electrical voltage that is too high.
  · In case of incorrect, rough or abnormal use.
  · In case of insufficient or incorrect maintenance.
  · In case of repairs or alterations to the device by the consumer or non-authorised third parties.
• If the customer used parts or accessories that are not recommended or provided by the supplier / manufacturer.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be taken, including the following:

• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
• CAUTION: In order to avoid a hazard this appliance must not be supplied through an external switching device, such as a timer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by the utility.
• Ensure that the fan is switched off from the supply mains before removing the guard.
  Do not operate this appliance with a damaged cord or plug or in the event the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. Return the appliance to the DOMO Service Department or its service agent for examination, repair, or electrical or mechanical adjustment.

To protect against electrical shock or burns, do not immerse unit, cord, or plug in water or other liquid.

• Do not let power cord supply hang over the edge of counter, or touch hot surfaces.
  · Do not use this appliance for other than intended use.
  · Never leave the appliance unattended while it is functioning.
  · Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
  · Do not use or store this appliance outdoors.
• Do not move the appliance while in use.

- Failure to maintain this appliance in a clean condition could adversely affect the life of the appliance and possibly result in a hazardous situation.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE

Click the wheels in on the bottom of the device as shown in the image below.

USE

To get the device running, press one of the speed settings: low (LOW) - middle (MID.) - high (HIG.). The device will then blow at the speed you select.

OSCILLATION BUTTON

Press the oscillation button to change the direction of oscillation from left to right and vice versa. The direction of the installation can be adjusted by tilting the ventilation grill up or down.

VAPORIZER/COOLER

The air cooler can also be used as a vaporizer. This is recommended if your house has very dry air. You can turn this function on and off by pressing this button on the control panel.

The water level in the water reservoir must be between the minimum and maximum level. The water level can be viewed by means of the water level indicator on the front of the device. Freeze the cooling elements before placing in the water reservoir.

Press the off button to turn off the device. Note: the cooler/humidifier must be turned on and off separately.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Remove the plug from the socket before cleaning the appliance.
• Remove the honeycomb filter. Clean the filter every 1 or 2 months if the environment is susceptible to dust and dirt. Wash the filter in slightly soapy water, with a soft cloth. Rinse well, so that all soap residues are removed. Let the filter dry for at least 4 hours before placing it back into the air cooler.
  The dust filter can be cleaned with water and a soft brush. Dry thoroughly before placing it back.

- Clean the water tank once a month for an optimal and hygienic performance. Take the water reservoir out of the device and clean with mild detergent. Empty the water reservoir and let it dry completely. Note: you can completely remove the water reservoir from the device by releasing the lock on the pump. Make sure that the pump is always correctly replaced in the water reservoir before using the air cooler again.

- Regularly vacuum the air vent at the front to remove dust. Or wipe clean with a damp cloth.
