What types of waves can I create with the Progloss 2-in-1 WV-3000?

This waver allows you to create two styles: voluminous and bouncy waves (using the single curved plate underneath) and fluid beachy waves (using the double curved plate underneath).

How to choose the right temperature for my hair?

The device offers 5 settings: 120°C, 150°C, 170°C, 190°C and 210°C. For fine, delicate or colored hair, use the lowest temperatures. For thick hair, use the higher ones. Always start at the lowest setting and increase if necessary.

How do I know when the iron is ready to use?

The LED temperature indicator flashes during heating and becomes steady when the selected temperature is reached.

How long should I hold the iron on each section of hair?

For the roots, hold for 2 to 3 seconds. For the rest of the section, hold for 7 to 9 seconds depending on texture and length.

Does the iron have an automatic shut-off?

Yes, the device turns off automatically after 60 minutes of continuous use. To turn it back on, press the on/off button and set the temperature.

Can I use the iron on wet hair?

No, it is recommended to wash and dry your hair, then apply a heat protection spray before use. The iron should be used on dry or slightly damp (towel-dried) hair, not wet.

How to clean the waver?

Turn off and unplug the device, let it cool completely. Wipe all surfaces with a soft damp cloth. Do not use abrasive products and do not immerse the device in water.

PROGLOSS™ 2-IN-1 BEACH & VOLUME WAVER

The Progloss™ 2-in-1 Beach & Volume Waver features multifunctional curved ceramic plates designed to create two different styles of wave; voluminous, bouncy waves and loose, festival beach waves. The waver's crimp-free design means it will not leave creases in the hair. With a reduced styling time and its advanced, intelligent heat control system, this waver ensures minimal hair damage.

Every product in the Revamp haircare range is infused with PROGLOSS™ SUPER SMOOTH OILS - enriched with Argan, Keratin and Coconut for ultimate smoothness and shine.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

- Before use, ensure the hair is clean, dry and tangle-free.

- For extra protection, apply a heat protection spray.

- Clip up your hair ready for styling.

- Plug the product into a 110-240V mains power supply.

- Press the power button to switch on.

- The Waver has 5 heat settings. If you have fine or delicate hair, use the lower heat settings. If you have thick or coarse hair, use the higher heat settings. It is suggested to start on the lowest setting on initial use and increase the temperature until the desired result is achieved.

- Use the temperature control button to select your desired temperature:

- The temperature indicator LED will flash until the waver is ready to use. When ready to use, the LED will remain static.

- Use the waver with the double curved plate on the underside to achieve carefree, beach waves; or flip the waver so the single curved plate is on the underside to create volumised waves with added bounce.

• When you have sectioned your hair, start with the top part closest to the roots. Clamp the hair approximately 5cm from the roots, while being careful to keep the ceramic away from the scalp. Hold in place for 2 to 3 seconds. Then, move the plates to a lower position on the same hair section and hold in place for 7 to 9 seconds (depending on the texture and length of your hair). Repeat this process, working downwards, along the whole section of hair to create waves as desired. For best styling results, slightly tilt the waver towards your head.
• To 'set' the style, do not comb or brush hair until it cools. Once the hair is cool, gently run your fingers in your hair to loosen the waves and get a more natural look.
• After use, switch off the waver, unplug it, place on the heat resistant mat (Feature 7) and allow to cool before storing away.

Please note:

• Regular use of styling products may deteriorate the coating.
• Do not scratch the surface of the product as this will deteriorate the effectiveness of the coating.
• The product reaches a very high temperature during operation, please style with caution when using. Make sure to keep away from the scalp and skin to avoid burns.

AUTO SHUT-OFF

This appliance has an automatic shut off feature for added safety. If the appliance is switched on for more than 60 minutes continuously, then it will automatically switch off. If you wish to continue using the appliance after this time, press the power button to switch on. Use the temperature control to select your desired temperature.

This feature should not be considered as a substitute for 'OFF'. ALWAYS REMEMBER TO SWITCH THE APPLIANCE OFF AND UNPLUG FROM THE MAINS WHEN NOT IN USE.

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE

• Switch the appliance off, unplug from the mains and allow to cool fully before cleaning.
• Wipe over all surfaces using a soft damp cloth. Do not use harsh abrasives or cleaners.
• Do not immerse the appliance in water or and other liquid.
• Ensure all parts are dried thoroughly with a soft towel before reusing.
• To prevent cord damage, do not wrap the cord around the appliance, always store the cord loosely next to the appliance.
• Store in a cool dry place.

- This appliance can be used by children aged from 16 years and above. Persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities should not use this product. Persons with lack of experience and knowledge can use the product if they have been supervised/instructed and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance.
