Temperature- control knob Flap door drawer(The picture above is only for reference. The actual configuration will depend on the physical product or statement by the distributor)
- The low temperature of freezer may keep food fresh for a long time and it is mainly used to store frozen foods and making ice. It is the most energy efficient to place food in the position shown in the picture above.
- The freezer is suitable for storage of meat, fish, shrimp, dumplings, rice balls and other foods not to be consumed in short term.
- Chunks of meat are preferably to be divided into small pieces for easy access. Please be noted food shall be consumed within the shelf time.
Notice:
After long term using, there maybe a certain degree of wear with the hinge, it will cause the noise when open/close the door and reduce the service life of hinge. It is recommended to put the grease on hinge for maintenance regularly, it can effectively eliminate noise and extend the service life of the hinge.
SITTING THE THERMOSTAT KNOB
The refrigerator is controlled with a thermostat knob located inside the fridge, towards the upper right-hand corner. Turn the knob from the STOP (OFF) position towards the higher numbers for colder temperatures. The knob can be adjusted from setting 1 to 4.
Higher settings on the knob (higher numbers) mean lower temperatures (colder) in all compartments of the appliance.
Changes of the ambient temperature affect temperature in the interior of the appliance so choose a correct setting of the temperature control knob, depending on your ambient conditions.
In the STOP (OFF) position the appliance does not operate (the cooling system is switched off), but power supply is not interrupted.
Set the thermostat knob to a middle position to achieve -18°C in the freezer compartment.
Please Note: If the appliance is switched off you must wait at least 5 minutes before restarting the appliance or re-inserting the plug into the wall outlet. This is to allow the protection device in the compressor to reset.
If the compressor fails to start correctly remove the plug and wait for 5 minutes before you try again then the compressor should restart normally.
The storage temperature may be affected by:

- How often the door is opened
- How much food is stored
- Position of the appliance
When you set the correct temperature, all these factors mentioned above shall be taken into account.
THE FREEZER COMPARTMENT

Due to the different installations, methods of usage and weather conditions, adjustments to the temperature settings may be required.
These are bent arranged against temperature reading on a thermometer buried in the frozen food. The reading must be taken quickly as the thermometer temperature will rise rapidly after removed.
- Freezing Fresh Food
The maximum quantity of food you can freeze in 24 hours in 4kg. Place the fresh food on the frozen compartment. Food may need rearranging to achieve this.
During frooming process the temperature of fresh food should be reduced quickly so that ice crystals are kept as small as possible to prevent damaging the structure of food. If frooming takes place slowly large ice crystals from and these will affect the quality of food once it has deflected.
Packets to be frozen should be placed in the basket in contact with the baskets surface as far as possible and spaced apart to allow card air to circulate between them. They should no touch existing packets.
| Freezing chamber | Type of food(storage time:within 3 months) |
| Freezer drawer(s)/shelf | · Foods for long-term storage.· Bottom drawer/shelf for raw meat, poultry, fish.· Middle drawer/shelf for frozen vegetables(blanched), chips.· Top drawer/shelf for ice cream, frozen fruit(in syrup), frozen baked goods. |

Do not place sealed containers or carbonated liquids such as fizzy drinks into the freezer as it is too pressure on the container which may cause it to explode resulting in damage to the freezer, when and ice letters should not be consumed immediately after removal from the freezer as it result in low temperature skin alterations.
Manufacturers storage times should be adhered to.
- Mints and Tips
- Any opened packets of frozen food should be rewrapped in airtight materials to prevent surface evaporation which creates drying or "frozen bars".
- Frozen food which is allowed to have accidentally should either be used immediately or thrown away. Alternatively if the food is uncooked and has not been completely distorted it can be cooked and then frozen.
