The device does not heat up, what to do?

Check that the device is properly plugged in and that the function selector is set to a heating position (medium or full power). Make sure the thermostat is not set too low. If the indicator light is off, the overheat protection may have been triggered: unplug the device, wait 10 minutes and try again. If the problem persists, contact customer service.

How to clean the fan heater?

Unplug the device and let it cool down. Wipe the housing with a soft sponge or damp cloth with mild detergent (water below 50°C). Dry thoroughly. Do not let water enter the interior and never use solvents such as gasoline or toluene.

Can I use an extension cord?

Yes, but make sure the extension cord supports the power of the device (3.0 kW) and do not exceed the maximum load indicated on the extension cord. Use a properly sized and good condition extension cord.

What does the indicator light on the device mean?

The power indicator (red) lights up when the device is powered. If the function selector is set to a heating position, the heating element is activated and the light stays on. The light turns off if the thermostat cuts off the heating when the desired room temperature is reached.

How to set the thermostat?

First turn the thermostat to the '+' (maximum) position and let it heat. When the room has reached the desired temperature, slowly turn the thermostat to the left until the heating element turns off. The thermostat will then automatically maintain that temperature.

Why does an odor appear during first use?

This is normal. The steel heating element is coated with a protective oil that may emit a slight smoke smell during first heating. This disappears after a few minutes of use.

Is it safe to leave the heater unattended?

No. The manual clearly states: "NEVER LEAVE THE HEATER UNATTENDED WHEN IT IS CONNECTED TO A POWER SOURCE". It is imperative to always supervise the device during operation.

What area can I heat with this heater?

The maximum heating area is 30 m² for a well-insulated room. For occasional use, the 3.0 kW power is suitable for medium-sized rooms.

Can I use this heater in a bathroom?

No. The device has an IP20 protection rating and must not be used in the immediate vicinity of a bathtub, shower, or swimming pool. It is intended for indoor use in dry rooms.

How to store the heater in summer?

Let the device cool down and dry it. Cover it with a plastic bag and put it back in its packaging carton. Store it in a dry and well-ventilated place.

- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

- Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised. If heater is damaged, do not use it. The heater must be serviced by a qualified person or service agent.

Operation

1. Position the fan heater so that it stands upright on a firm, level surface and at a safe distance from wet environments and flammable objects.
2. Connect the fan heater to the proper electrical power.
3. Set the thermostat dial to “+”.
4. The fan heater will switch on when the function selector dial is set to one of the power settings.
5. Once the room reaches the desired temperature, turn the thermostat dial back until heating element turns off.
6. Before you switch off the heater, please turn the thermostat to “-” and turn the switch to the fan position. Let the appliance cool down for two minutes, and only when turn of the heater and pull out the plug from the power supply.

Automatic Overheat Safety Control

- This heater is equipped with safety internal heat limiting thermostat and overheat protection circuit. When a potential overheat temperature is reached, the system will automatically shut the heater off.

Thermostat Instructions

- At first, set the thermostat to “+” and let the heater operate with full power input. When the room temperature reaches the required value, turn the thermostat to the left until it switches off.

• The thermostat will then switch on and off automatically to control the room temperature according to the preset value and keep the room temperature constant.
• When using the heater for the first time, you may notice a slight emission of smoke. This is quite normal and it stops after a short time. The heating element is made of steel and was coated with a layer of protective oil during production. The smoke is caused by the leftover oil as it is heated.

Cleaning and Maintenance

• Before cleaning the appliance, disconnect it from the outlet and let it cool down.
• The enclosure is easy to get dirty. Wipe it often with a soft sponge. For very dirty parts, wipe with a sponge dipped in < 50°C water and mild detergent, then dry the heater enclosure with a clean cloth. Be careful not to let the water enter the inside of the appliance
• In order to protect the enclosure, don't splash water onto the heater, and never use a solvent like gasoline, isoamyl acetate, toluene, etc. to clean the heater.
• When you store the heater, let it cool down first and, keep it dry. Then cover it with a plastic bag, put it in the packing box and store it in a dry, ventilated place.

Troubleshooting
