5. INSTALLATION AND USE
5.1 Safety instructions

ELECTRICAL HAZARD
Danger from electric current!
- No contact with heat sources should take place with the power cord.
- Cord should not hang over edge of table or counter.
- Do not pour water into an appliance that is in operation or that is still hot.
- The device must be properly connected and comply with the regulations in force.

WARNING
In operation, the device can reach high temperatures. To avoid burns and accidents, do not use the device in malfunction, and do not use spare parts that are not original.

5.2 Use

WARNING

Stopwatch
Start press '+' for the stopwatch. To stop, press '+'. 5 beeps to signal the stop of the stopwatch.
Timer
Pressing '-' and '+' simultaneously displays the default value: 10sec.
Press '-' and '+' simultaneously again (2 beeps).
The time flashes, you can set the desired time with '-' and '+' (0.1 - 19.59 mm).
Wait for the screen to go off then press '-' to start the timer. 5 beeps to signal the end of the timer.
START-UP
The device must be completely removed from its packaging. All protections must be completely removed.
Place the appliance on a solid, flat surface. Never place the panini grill on a flammable surface.
Do not install this appliance near open fires, or other heating appliances.
The electric cable must be protected to at least 16 Amps. The device must be plugged directly into a wall outlet. Using a multiple socket will cause the device to trip.
Heat the appliance for 10 minutes until all smoke and odor are gone. Turn off and unplug the appliance, then use hot soapy water to clean the cast iron plates.
NEVER use cold water on the cast iron plates as you may cause thermal shock.
USE
Connect the appliance, once the switch is on, the power indicator light comes on.
Turn the temperature control knob to your liking.
The temperature can be between 60 ° and 300 ° C.
We recommend that you use this device at a maximum temperature of 250 °C.
When the selected temperature is set, the red temperature indicator light comes on.
In 10 minutes, the temperature of 250^ C is reached and the red temperature control light goes out.
When the temperature drops, the appliance starts heating again and the red light comes on again. Thanks to the user handle, lift the top plate and grease the plates as you wish in order to place your preparations to heat or grill.
Close the trays and watch the cooking.
REMARK
The device is fitted with a safety system in the event of overheating. If triggered, unplug the device and allow it to cool. If this protection system operates regularly, it is imperative to contact your dealer.
After automatic shutdown, the device can only be put into operation by pressing the Reset button on the back of the device, wait for the temperature to drop, press the Reset button.
6. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
6.1 Safety instructions
All maintenance, cleaning and repair of the appliance must be carried out with a disconnected appliance (isolated from all electrical sources).
The use of caustic detergents and baking soda for cleaning is prohibited. Water must not get inside the device.
Never immerse the device in water or other liquid.
