A different voltage could damage the appliance. The plug is the only way to unplug the appliance and should therefore be accessible at all times. To turn off main power to the appliance, turn it off and then detach the plug from the outlet. The appliance must be grounded. The manufacturer is not responsible for damages that may occur as a result of usage without grounding. INSTALLATION Install the appliance in a dry, well ventilated room. The installation location should neither be exposed to direct sunlight nor near a heat source, e.g. a cooker, radiator, etc. To ensure adequate ventilation for the appliance, allow a minimum of 10 cm of airspace on each side of the cabinet. POWER FAILURE If there is a power failure, do not open the doors of the appliance. Frozen food should not be affected if the power failure lasts for less than 14 hours. Do not refreeze frozen foods that have thawed completely. The food may be dangerous to eat.

cool function and locking /unlocking touch buttons AMBIENT TEMPERATURE This appliance is designed to operate in ambient temperature between 1°C and 43°C. If these temperatures are exceeded, i.e. colder or warmer, the appliance will not operate correctly. If the ambient temperatures are exceeded for long periods, the temperature in the freezer compartment will rise above -18°C and food spoilage may occur. BEFORE PLACING FOOD IN THE APPLIANCESetting the Fridge Compartment Temperature Repeatedly touch to select the desired temperature. x The corresponding temperature indicator light will illuminate. x There are 5 temperature settings for choice: 2°C, 3°C, 4°C, 6°C and 8°C. Setting the Freezer Compartment Temperature There is a temperature control knob inside the freezer compartment. You can set the freezer compartment temperature by turning this control knob. There are 3 settings: COLD, COLDER and COLDEST. It is recommended to turn this control knob to the COLDER position for normal use. Power cool function You can use this function to increase the cooling capacity of the fridge compartment when placing larger amounts of food within it. x To activate this function, in unlock state press and the indicator light will illuminate

x This function will be automatically deactivated after about 3 hours and the fridge compartment will return to the previous selected temperature setting. x To deactivate this function, in unlock state press and the indicator light will go out. Lock/Unlock x To lock buttons, touch and hold for 3 seconds. The lock indicator light will illuminate. In the lock state, all buttons will be disabled. x To unlock buttons, touch and hold again for 3 seconds. The lock indicator light will go out. NOTE: In the unlock state, if there is no operation of any button for about 1 minute, the system will automatically enter the lock state.

MOVING YOUR APPLIANCE

If the appliance is turned off for any reason, wait for 10 minutes before turning it back on. This will allow the refrigeration system pressures to equalize before restarting. x Turn off the appliance and unplug it from the mains socket. Remove all food. Also remove all mobile parts (shelves, accessories, etc.) or fix them into the appliance to avoid any shock. x Relocate and install. If the appliance has been left on its side for any length of time, leave it standing

EN-10EN-11 upright for at least 10 minutes before turning on. Your appliance uses isobutane (R600a) as a refrigerant. Although R600a is an environmentally friendly and natural gas, it is explosive. Therefore you should be careful during shipment and installation to prevent your appliance’s cooler elements from being damaged. In the event of a leak caused by damage to the cooler elements, move your appliance from open flame or heat sources and ventilate the room where the appliance is located for a few minutes.

STORING FOOD IN THE FRIDGE COMPARTMENT

This will prevent food from dehydrating, deteriorating in colour or losing taste and will help maintain freshness. It will also prevent odour transfer. x Make sure that strong smelling foods are wrapped or covered and stored away from foods such as butter, milk and cream which can be tainted by strong odours. x Cool hot foods down before placing them in the ƌĞĨƌŝŐĞƌĂƚŽƌ compartment.EN-12 Dairy foods and eggs x Most pre-packed dairy foods have a recommended ‘use by /best before/best by/’ date stamped on them. Store them in the ƌĞĨƌŝŐĞƌĂƚŽƌ compartment and use withinthe recommended time. x Butter can become tainted by strong smelling foods so it is best stored in a sealed container. x Eggs can be stored in the ƌĞĨƌŝŐĞƌĂƚŽƌ compartment. Red meat x Place fresh red meat on a plate and loosely cover with waxed paper, plastic wrap or foil. x Store cooked and raw meat on separate plates. This will prevent any juice lost from the raw meat from contaminating the cooked product. Poultry x Fresh whole birds should be rinsed inside and out with cold running water, dried and placed on a plate. Cover loosely with plastic wrap or foil. x Poultry pieces should also be stored this way. Whole poultry should never be stuffed until just before cooking, otherwise food poisoning may result.EN-13 Fish and seafood x Whole fish and fillets should be used on the day of purchase. Until required, refrigerate on a plate loosely covered with plastic wrap, waxed paper or foil. x If storing overnight or longer, take particular care to select very fresh fish. Whole fish should be rinsed in cold water to remove loose scales and dirt and then patted dry with paper towels. Place whole fish or fillets in a sealed plastic bag. x Keep shellfish chilled at all times. Use within 1 – 2 days. Precooked foods and leftovers x These should be stored in suitable covered containers so that the food will not dry out. x Keep for only 1 – 2 days. x Reheat leftovers only once and until steaming hot. Vegetable and fresh fruit x The vegetable container is the optimum storage location for fresh fruit and vegetables. x Take care not to store the following at temperatures of less than 7°C for long periods:EN-14 Citrus fruit, melons, aubergines, pineapple, papaya, courgettes, passion fruit, cucumber, peppers, tomatoes x Undesirable changes will occur at low temperatures such as softening of the flesh, browning and/or accelerated decaying. x Do not refrigerate avocados (until they are ripe), bananas, and mangoes. FREEZING AND STORING FOOD IN THE FREEZER COCOMPARTMENT hƐŝŶŐƚŚĞĨƌĞĞnjĞƌĐŽŵƉĂƌƚŵĞŶƚ Adjusting the vegetable container humidity The vegetable container cover has a humidity control slider. Note: Keep food to be frozen away from food which is already frozen. zThe following foods are suitable for freezing: Cakes and pastries, fish and seafood, meat, game, poultry, vegetables, fruit, herbs, eggs without shells, dairy products such as cheese and butter, ready meals and leftovers such as soups, stews, cooked meat and fish, potato dishes, soufflés and desserts. zThe following foods are not suitable for freezing: Types of vegetables, which are usually consumed raw, such as lettuce or radishes, eggs in shells, grapes, whole apples, pears and peaches, hard-boiled eggs, yoghurt, soured milk, sour cream, and mayonnaise. EN-15EN-16 Packing frozen food To prevent food from losing its flavour or drying out, place food in airtight packaging. ϭPlace food in packaging. ϮRemove air. ϯSeal the wrapping. ϰLabel packaging with contents and dates of freezing. Suitable packaging: Plastic film, tubular film made of polyethylene, aluminium foil, freezer containers. These products are available from specialist outlets. Recommended storage times of frozen food in the freezer compartment These times vary depending on the type of food. The food that you freeze can be preserved from 1 to 12 months (minimum at -18°C). Indeed, frozen food that has thawed completely must not be refrozen. x Once defrosted, food should be consumed quickly.

Fill the ice cube tray (not supplied) with ¾ full of drinking water and place in the freezer drawer. If the ice cube tray is stuck to the freezer drawer, loosen with a blunt tool only. To loosen the ice cubes, twist the ice cube tray slightly or hold briefly under flowing water.DEFROSTING This appliance is equipped with a frost free system. This system enables the freezer compartment to remain permanently ice-free, however, the food stored in the freezer drawers will not defrost. DOOR CONVERSION If you need to hinge the doors on the opposite sides it is recommended that you call y our local authorized service agent to make this conversion or ask a technician. Before you reverse the doors, you should ensure the appliance is unplugged and empty. It is recommended to use screwdrivers and a spanner (both not supplied).

1. Remove the screw from the upper hinge cover and then remove the cover. Disconnect the terminal.

2. Remove the top cover and wire sleeve using a straight screwdriver. Be careful of the wire inside. Fit

the wire with connector to the opposite side and install wire sleeve. Fix the top cover back to the top of the fridge door. EN-183. Lift the fridge compartment door and place it on a padded surface to prevent it from scratching.

Remove the screws from the middle hinge and then remove the middle hinge. Lift the freezer compartment door and place it on a padded surface to prevent it from scratching.

5. Remove the screws, bottom hinge and adjustable foot from the bottom of the appliance.

Remove and replace the pins on the reverse side of the bottom hinge.

Refit the bottom hinge, screws and foot to the opposite side. EN-198. After replacing the freezer compartment door, screw the middle hinge back onto the opposite side.

Unscrew the blocks from the bottom of the fridge door and then fit them to the opposite side.

Fit the fridge compartment door back into place. Refit the upper hinge on the opposite side and connect the wire.

Fit the left hinge cover to the upper hinge and fit the top cover to the appliance using the screws.

TIPS FOR SAVING ENERGY

For the most energy efficient use of your appliance: x Ensure your appliance has adequate ventilation as recommended in the installation instructions. Ensure the door is aligned horizontally and vertically so that the seals are closed on all sides before finally tightening the hinge. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or solvents.

2. Take out the food and store in a cool location.

3. Clean the appliance with a soft cloth, warm water

wipe dry thoroughly.

5. After cleaning reconnect and set the

2THE COLDEST PART OF THE REFRIGERATOR

The symbol indicates the location of the coldest part of your refrigerator. This area is in between the vegetable compartment at the bottom and the symbol at the top, or the shelf at the same height. In order to maintain the temperature in this area, make sure not to change the position of this shelf. In pulsed air refrigerators (equipped with a fan) or No Frost models, the coldest area symbol is not shown because the temperature is uniform throughout the interior. INSTALLING THE TEMPERATURE INDICATOR To help you adjust your refrigerator correctly, it is equipped with a temperature indicator that you can use to control the average temperature in the coldest area. WARNING: This indicator is only intended for use in your refrigerator. Do not use it in another refrigerator (as the coldest area will not be the same) or for any other purpose. TEMPERATURE INDICATOR: THE COLDEST PART OF YOUR REFRIGERATOR CHECKING THE TEMPERATURE IN THE COLDEST AREA

• Using the temperature indicator, you should regularly check that the temperature is correct in the coldest part of your refrigerator. The temperature inside your refrigerator depends on a number of factors, such as the outside room temperature, how full your refrigerator is, and how often you open the door. Take these factors into consideration when adjusting your appliance. When the indicator shows "OK", it means your thermostat is set properly and the temperature inside your refrigerator is correct. If the indicator is white it means the temperature is too high, so you should increase the thermostat and wait for 12 hours before checking the indicator again. After loading the refrigerator or opening the door, the indicator may turn white for a few seconds.
