How do I set the temperature on my Thomson Millesime 99 wine cooler?

Press and hold the ▲ and ▼ buttons simultaneously for about 3 seconds until a beep is heard to unlock the controls. Then press ▲ or ▼ to adjust the temperature between 5°C and 18°C. The set temperature will flash for 3 seconds, then display the current actual temperature.

How do I switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit?

Press and hold the °C/°F button (or the button indicated in the manual) to toggle between Celsius and Fahrenheit. The corresponding indicator light will illuminate.

What should I do if my wine cooler is not cooling properly?

First, check that the temperature is set correctly. Ensure the appliance has adequate ventilation (minimum 10 cm clearance on each side). Avoid opening the door too frequently. If the problem persists, contact a local authorised service agent.

Why is my wine cooler making noise?

Normal operational sounds include the compressor running and refrigerant flowing through tubing. If the noise is excessive, check if the appliance is level by adjusting the front feet. Noise may also be due to vibration against walls or furniture.

This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as

The appliance shall not be exposed to rain.

BEFORE INSTALLING THE APPLIANCE

Before connecting your appliance to the power supply, check that the voltage stated on the rating label of your appliance corresponds to the voltage in your home. A different voltage could damage the appliance.

The plug is the only way to unplug the appliance and should therefore be accessible at all times. To turn off main power to the appliance, detach the plug from the outlet. Do not immerse the appliance, the power cord or the plug in water or other liquid.

The appliance must be grounded. The manufacturer is not responsible for damages that may occur as a result of usage without grounding.

INSTALLING THE APPLIANCE

This appliance is designed to be free standing only.

Install the appliance in a dry, well ventilated room. The installation location should neither be exposed to direct sunlight nor near a heat source, e.g. a cooker, radiator, etc.

To ensure adequate ventilation for the appliance, allow a minimum of 10 cm of airspace on each side of the cabinet.

For uneven surfaces, front feet can be aligned.

Installing the door handle

1. Remove the door gasket on the side. There will be 2 designated holes for the handle to be installed.
2. Tighten the screws to fix the handle to the door. DO NOT over tighten the screws.
3. Replace the door gasket.

AMBIENT TEMPERATURE

This appliance is designed to operate in ambient temperature between 10^ C and 32^ C. If these temperatures are exceeded, i.e. colder or warmer, the appliance will not operate correctly.

MOVING YOUR APPLIANCE

• Make sure that the appliance is unplugged from the mains socket. Remove all bottles and shelves to avoid any shock.
• Always move the appliance vertically.
• After moving, wait for 30 minutes before plugging in the appliance.

Your appliance uses isobutane (R600a) as a refrigerant. Although R600a is an environmentally friendly and natural gas, it is explosive. Therefore you should be careful during shipment and installation to prevent your appliance's cooler elements from being damaged. In the event of a leak caused by damage to the cooler elements, move your appliance from open flame or heat sources and ventilate the room where the appliance is located for a few minutes.

BEFORE FIRST USE

• Remove all packaging.
• Clean the inside of the appliance with warm water and a little liquid detergent to remove manufacturing and transportation dust.

OPERATION

Ensure that the appliance is placed on a flat and stable surface.

Plug the appliance into the mains socket. The display will show the current actual temperature of the internal cabinet.

Allow the appliance to cool down for 2-3 hours before placing wine bottles in the appliance.

Selecting the temperature

The temperature can be set from 5°C to 18°C. The default factory temperature is set at 12°C.

1. Repeatedly press ⬆/▼ to select the required temperature.

• Each time you press 📂/▼ the temperature will be increased or decreased by 1°C.

1. The temperature selected will flash on the display for approximately 3 seconds, then the display will return to the current actual temperature of the internal cabinet.

- The current actual temperature will vary depending on the quantity of bottles stored and how often the door is opened.

• To view the set temperature, press ⬆/√, the set temperature will flash on the display for approximately 3 seconds and then return to the current actual temperature of internal cabinet.

• The temperature display can be switched between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F) by

Tips for storing wine

Store wine in sealed bottles.

Do not overload the appliance. The maximum number of bottles that can be stored is 99, depending on the size of bottles.

To achieve the maximum capacity of the appliance, the bottles should be laid out as shown.

For example, you can store 99 standard 750 ml size Bordeaux bottles in the appliance.

AUTOMATIC DEFROSTING

Ice build-up on the inner back wall during compressor operation will defrost automatically when the compressor has cycled off.

Defrost water will drain out through the drain outlet into a drain pan from where it will evaporate.

TIPS FOR SAVING ENERGY

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
