5.ProductFeatures

TheFMtransmitterisusedtotransmitmusicorvoicefromamobile device(smartphone,tablet,etc.)toanFMplaybackdevice(such as a car radio) in high quality in a car, caravan or boat. At the sometime,a t ermaldevicecanbechargedviatheUSBport.The FMtransmitteriscompatiblewithalterminaldevicesthathave a 3 .5-mmAUX-OUT.audiojackoutput).TheFMtransmittercan alsotransmitmusicorvoicedirectlyfroma U SBstick(maximum of32GB).

6.GettingStartedandOperation

Plug the FM transmitter into a power socket of your vehicle's electricalsystem, and then establish the connection between themobiledeviceandtheFMtransmitterusinga 3.5-mmAUX cable. Nowstartmusicplaybackonyourterminaldevice.
- Alternatively, audio files can be transferred directly from a USBstick.

• F orsomevehicletypes, the ignitionhastobeswitchedontosupply power to the 12 V car socket. For more information, pleasereferto yourvehicle's o peratinginstructions.
• Disconnect all cable and on-board connections after use.

6.1 Audiplayback (viaUSBstick)

• P lugtheUSBstickintotheUSBsocketmarkedwith playbackwillstartautomatically.

Note

T hecapacityoftheUSBstickmustnotexceed32GB.
The following formats are supported for audio playback: MP3.

6.2Manualstationsearch

• Searchforanavailablefrequencyonyourcarradio(static withoutpartialsignals).
• Set the same frequency on the FM transmitter. To do this, press andholdthe button(5)for2 secondsuntilthefrequency indicatoronthedisplay(3)beginstoflash.
• Then press the < or button to set the desired frequency.
• The FMtransmitteralwaysstoresthestelastfrequencyset.

Note-Automaticstandby

After 50 to 60 seconds without a music signal or button beingpressed, the FMtransmitters switchestostandby.
- If it receives a music signal or a button is pressed, the FM transmitter is activated again.

6.3Chargingfunction

TheFMtransmitterhasa USBchargingsocket.Thissuppliesthe chargingcurrentsspecifiedinPoint7. Technicalspecifications'.

Note-Carbattery

Withsomevehicles, itcanhappenthatpowercontinuestobesuppliedeventhoughtheignitionhasbeenswitchedoff. Therefore, whennotusingtheproduct, disconnectitfrom thepowersupplytoprotectyourcarbatteryfromdischarge.

Note-C onnectingterminaldevices

• Before connecting a terminal device, check whether the poweroutputofthechargercansuppliesufficientpower forthedevic.
• Ensure that the total power consumption of all connected terminal devices does not exceed 1000mA .
• P leasereftotheinstructionsintheoperatings manualof yourterminaldevice.
• D isconnectallcableandmainsconnectionsafteruse.

7.Care and Maintenance

Onlycleanthisproductwithaslightlydamp,lint-freeclothhanddo notuseaggressivecleaningagents.

Note

Disconnect the device from the power supply before cleaning or if it will not be used for a long period of time.
