Nutritional analysis scale KWA-8328 nutri Instruction manualThank you for purchasing this product of the brand Suntec Wellness. Before the first use, please read the manual carefully. Keep it for later reference and hand it over to its new owner, if you give the appliance to another person. Safety Precautions CAUTION! This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory and mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision. Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the appliance provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.

• Do not use the appliance for other than its intended use. For domestic indoor use only.

• Please refrain from further usage if parts of the appliance are damaged and contact your seller.

• Only operate the appliance on a flat and stable surface.

• Please be careful when using the appliance to avoid falling or damage to the appliance.

• Please do not place any foreign objects on the display and do not exceed the max. weighingcapacity.

• Do not attempt to repair, disassemble or change the appliance by yourself.

• Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids to prevent electric shocks.

• When using batteries, please be aware of the correct disposal of old batteries.

• Please take out the batteries from the appliance when the appliance is not in use for a longer time.

• Always use batteries of the same type and capacity. Never use old and new batteries at the same time.

• Do not recharge non-chargeable batteries.

• Do not short-circuit batteries or throw them in fire. Danger of explosion!

• Do not use the appliance near heating sources.

• Battery operation: 2x CR2032 (not included)

• Max. weighing capacity: 5kg

• Please open the battery compartment and put the batteries inside. Please ensure the correct polarity.

• To ensure a correct weighing, the scale needs to be placed on a stable and even surface.

• Press the button „ON/OFF“ to turn on the appliance. Choose between measurement units with the button „UNIT“: g, oz, lb:oz, ml, fl.oz.

• Adding weight: If you wish to add food for weighing, you can use the tare function. Example: First, weigh a plate and then press “ON/OFF”. The weight amount will be reduced by the weight of the plate. The displayed weight will change to 0. When you add other food, only their weight will be displayed. Alternatively, put the plate on the scale while it is still turned off. Then, turn the scale on and weigh your food. Please note that the max. weighing capacity of the appliance is 5kg. If this weight is reached, the display will show “EEE” or “ERR”.

• Operation with smartphone (Dr. Nutrition App + Bluetooth): o When you connect the scale to your smartphone, additional functions are available:

• Simultaneous weight display on scale and app

• Database of 649 pre-saved food information

• Manual adding of further food and their nutrional values

• Please open the app and press “ ” on the upper right corner. Select “Device”, then “Add”. The app automatically searches for your scale. Make sure that the scale is turned on.

• Once your scale has been found, you may connect to it.

You may rename the scale by swiping the device name to the left, then press „Rename“. By swiping you can also disconnect the app from the device when selecting „Unbound“. o Nutritional value display in the app:

• Press „Please select a food item“. You can either directly select from the list or use the search function.

• If your product is not listed in the database, you can add it manually. To do so, press “ ” on the upper right corner, press “Personal food items” and then “Add”. Please enter the name as well as the nutritional values listed on the packaging. Save your entry. Your product is now selectable in the database.

• Place the food on the scale. Weight and nutritional values are shown in the app. You can save the data if you wish.

• You can view the saved data at any time by pressing “ ” and then “History record”. To add the nutritional values, such as the total nutritional values of a meal or day, press "Total". Select the entries to be added and confirm on the upper right corner. You can save the total as a new entry and name it. Via "History record" you can also view entries by date. To do so, click on "Date" in the upper right corner and select a day.

• Battery display: When the batteries need to be changed, “LO” will appear on the display. In this case, please change the batteries and never use old and new batteries at the same time.

• Turning off: To turn the appliance off, press and hold the off-button. If the weight on the scale doesn’t change after two minutes, the appliance will turn off automatically. To increase the battery life span, it is recommended to turn off the appliance manually by pressing the off-button.Cleaning

• Never immerse the appliance in water to prevent electric shocks and damages to the appliance.

• Wipe over the exterior of the appliance with a soft wet cloth and then wipe dry with a dry cloth. To remove stains you can use a mild dish soap. Please ensure that no water can leak inside the appliance.

• Do not use any chemicals or other abrasive cleaning solvents to clean. In case of complaint

• You can claim the device within 24 months from date of purchase (receipt).

• A free replacement or repair will be excluded from prior improper product handling.

• Defects in wear parts, consumables, as well as cleaning, maintenance or replacement of said parts are therefore with costs.

• Without a proof of purchase, generally there will be no repair or replacement.

• In the event that the complaint case is analogous to our terms of service, all defects of the device or its accessories due to material or manufacturing defects will be eliminated by repair or, at our discretion, replacing the unit.

• The damage of accessories does not automatically lead to a free exchange of the whole device. In these cases, please contact your dealer. Glass breakage, or breakage of plastic parts are always to charge.

• The dealer or repair service can perform the repair after the expiration of warranty against charge. Note concerning protection of environment This product must not be disposed of via normal household waste after its service life, but must be taken to a collection station for the recycling of electrical and electronic devices. The symbol on the product, the operating instructions or the packaging indicates such disposal procedures. The materials are recyclable in accordance with their respective symbols. By means of re-use, material recycling or any other form of recycling old appliances you are making an important contribution to the protection of our environment. Please ask your local council where your nearest disposal station is located. As part of our extended producer responsibility, this product is indicated in accordance to the European Directive 2012/19/EU on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). The aim is to avoid, reduce, and environmentally friendly disposal of electronic waste. Please help actively to protect the environment and dispose electronic waste through local collection points. During the 24 months warranty we guarantee to repair your appliance free of charge or to provide your seller the spare parts free of charge if the appliance fails to work due to production failure. Other claims are excluded from this warranty.
