How to install the EufyCam C2 Pro?

First connect the HomeBase 2 to the Internet via the provided Ethernet cable. Download the eufy Security app and create an account. Follow the on-screen instructions to add the camera. Mount the camera 2-3 m above the ground using the provided wall mount after testing the signal strength.

How to charge the camera battery?

Use the provided micro-USB cable (T8142) to connect the camera to a power adapter. The status LED becomes solid blue while charging and turns off when fully charged. Charging time is about 5 hours.

What is the motion detection range?

The PIR motion sensor can detect movements up to 10 meters (30 feet) in an optimal field of view. It is recommended to mount the camera between 2 and 3 meters high to maximize range.

Can I use the camera outdoors?

Yes, the EufyCam C2 Pro is designed for indoor and outdoor use. However, avoid direct sunlight exposure for long periods. Mounting should be done on a solid wall.

How many cameras can I connect to a single HomeBase?

The HomeBase 2 can support up to 16 cameras simultaneously. You can repeat the camera addition process via the eufy Security app.

What to do if the camera LED does not turn on?

Ensure the camera is properly connected to the charging cable. If the LED remains off, try a different cable or adapter. To reset, use a paperclip to press the reset button located on the camera or HomeBase.

How to reset the camera or HomeBase?

Use the provided metal pin to press the reset button. On the HomeBase, the button is on the back; on the camera, it is accessible through a small hole. Hold for a few seconds until the LED flashes.

Is the eufy Security app free?

Yes, the eufy Security app is free to download from the App Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android). It allows you to set up, view, and manage your cameras without a subscription.

What mounting height is recommended for optimal detection?

It is recommended to mount the EufyCam 2C Pro at a height of 2 to 3 meters (7-10 feet) above the ground. This height optimizes the motion detector range and covers a ground area of about 10 meters.

How to clean the camera?

Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the lens and housing. Avoid harsh chemicals. Ensure the camera is powered off before cleaning.

Connect the HomeBase 2 to the Internet

1. Power on the HomeBase 2, then use the ethernet cable provided to connect the HomeBase 2 to your home router.

Download the App and Set up the System

Download the eufy Security app from the App Store (iOS devices) or Google Play (Android devices).

Sign up for a eufy Security account, then follow the onscreen instructions to complete the setup.

5 / MOUNTING THE CAMERA

Find a Good Mounting Spot

To find a spot to mount eufyCam 2C Pro, you need to test wireless signal strength.

① Open the eufy Security app, go to Camera Settings > Mounting Guide.
② To test the wireless signal strength, take your camera and phone to the location where you want to mount the camera.
③ Move the camera as close to the HomeBase 2 as possible if the wireless.

Select Height and Location

Hang eufyCam 2C Pro 7-10 ft (2-3 m) above the ground. This height maximizes the detection range of the motion sensor of eufyCam 2C Pro. Avoid placing eufyCam 2C Pro under direct sunlight.

Mount the camera

The camera can be mounted both indoors and outdoors.

1. Turn the knob of the mounting bracket clockwise to loosen and disassemble it.

1. Drill holes with a 15/64 inch (5.95mm) drill bit, then insert the anchors into the holes; anchors are necessary for walls that are made out of hard materials such as concrete, brick, or stucco.

Mount the camera

1. Firmly screw the base of the mounting bracket onto the wall. Fasten the ball knob of the bracket to the base of the bracket.

1. Tighten eufyCam 2C Pro to the mounting bracket and adjust the viewing angle by checking the live stream feed in the eufy Security app.
