How to turn on and pair the JBL Tune Beam?
Take the earbuds out of the charging case: they turn on automatically and enter pairing mode. Enable Bluetooth on your device and select JBL Tune Beam. For manual pairing, long-press the touch button on each earbud until the indicator flashes.
What is the actual battery life of the earbuds?
With active noise cancellation off, the battery life is approximately 8 hours. With ANC on, it drops to 6 hours. The charging case provides up to 24 hours of total battery life.
How to charge the case and earbuds?
Use the included USB-C cable to charge the case. The earbuds charge automatically when placed in the case. An LED indicator shows the charge level. A quick 15-minute charge provides about 2 hours of listening time.
Are the JBL Tune Beam compatible with active noise cancellation?
Yes, they feature active noise cancellation (ANC). You can turn it on or off via the JBL Headphones app or using touch controls. Ambient Aware and TalkThru modes are also available.
Can I use only one earbud at a time?
Yes, each earbud can work independently. Remove a single earbud from the case: it will connect automatically. To switch to mono mode, disable Bluetooth on the other earbud or place it in the case.
Are the earbuds water resistant?
The earbuds are rated IPX4, protecting against splashes and sweat. The charging case is not water resistant.
How to clean the earbuds and ear tips?
Wipe the earbuds with a soft, dry cloth. Remove the silicone ear tips and wash them with warm soapy water, then dry them thoroughly before reattaching. Do not use chemicals.
What to do if an earbud does not turn on?
Make sure the earbuds are charged. Place them in the case and check that the contacts are clean. If the problem persists, reset the earbuds: press and hold the touch buttons for 10 seconds until the indicator flashes red and white.
Can I connect the earbuds to multiple devices at once?
Yes, the JBL Tune Beam support multipoint connection. You can connect two devices simultaneously (e.g., a smartphone and a computer) and easily switch between them.
How to update the firmware of the earbuds?
Download the JBL Headphones app on your smartphone. Firmware updates are offered automatically. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the latest version.
