USING THE COOKTOP

  1. The cooktop must be placed on a level, flat, stable and dry surface that is resistant to high temperature.
  2. Set the "MIN" position on the thermostat knobs.
  3. Place the pots filled with food to be cooked on the preferred cooking plates. Do not place empty pots.
  4. Connect the device to the mains (grounded).
  5. Turn the selected thermostat knob to the appropriate position, which initiates the heating process. The closer the MAX position is approached by the knob, the higher the heating temperature is. The plate heating process is indicated by the corresponding light. When the specified temperature is reached, the thermostat will disconnect the plate; the latter is indicated by the light switching off. The thermostat will maintain a user-specified temperature by turning the plate on and off in a cyclic manner. All heating elements are very hot during the operation of the product; do not touch them, as there is a risk of burns.
  6. After cooking, turn the thermostat knob to the off position "MIN", unplug the cooktop from the mains and wait until it cools down.
  7. Do not use any pots that are unstable and may fall over. Use pots with flat bottoms to ensure full contact with the cooking plate and optimal efficiency.
  8. Do not use dishes that are unstable and may tilt. Use only cookware with a flat bottom to ensure full contact with the hotplate and achieve optimum efficiency (see the adjacent illustration).
  9. To carry the stove, handles (2) should be used; they also provide good heat insulation.
