USER MANUAL i.Beat mood TrekStor

Note for users of Windows® 98: First download the driver from our homepage at http://www.trekstor.de. Then install the driver before connecting the i.Beat mood to your PC. Connect the i.Beat mood to a USB port of your PC. Your operating system will immediately recognize the i.Beat mood and will add a "DEVICE WITH REMOVABLE STORAGE" under "MY COMPUTER".

Files that are not copy-protected a) Select the desired files (such as MP3) with the mouse. Copy these files by clicking them with your right mouse button and then selecting "COPY". b) Under "MY COMPUTER", select the device with removable storage, "TREKSTOR I.BEAT MOOD". c) Click it with your right mouse button, and select "PASTE" to start copying. The selected music will then be automatically copied to your MP3 player.

Turning the device on and off Turn on the i.Beat mood by briefly pressing the button. To turn off the i.Beat mood, hold the button for approximately 3 seconds. Note: Make sure that the

switch has been moved to the right, i.e., that the button lock is turned off. If the button lock is activated, the button lock symbol or a corresponding message will appear. Different modes The i.Beat mood has different modes. To go to a mode, hold the button for approximately 1 second. Press the or button to select the desired mode, and confirm by pressing the button.   • Playback Briefly press the button to start playing an audio file.
  • Pause Briefly press the button to stop playing the file. Repress the button to continue playing the file.

  • Change title Press the button to select the next song. If you press the button within 5 seconds after a song starts, you switch to the prior song. If you push the button after a playback starts and after at least 5 seconds, the i.Beat mood returns to the beginning of the current title.
  • Rewind / fast-forward within a song You can navigate within the current song by holding down the or button. Hold down the or button to fast-forward or rewind. Note: The longer you hold down the or button, the faster you fast-forward or rewind.
  • Increase volume / decrease volume Briefly press the or button to raise or lower the volume. Note: If you hold down the or button, the volume changes gradually. Folder navigation You get to folder navigation in "MUSIC" mode by briefly pressing the button. Press the or button to select the next or previous file. To play the selected file, press the button. To change to a subfolder, press the button if the folder is marked. To return to the main directory, press the button. To leave folder navigation, press the button when you are in the main directory.
  • Deleting a file using folder navigation Select the file you want to delete using folder navigation, and briefly press the button. To confirm that you want to delete the file, switch to "YES" by pressing the or button, and then press the button. EN– 10 – – 10 – Mode: FM Radio (optional) Switch to "FM RADIO" mode.   • This MP3 player is optimized for the provided earphones (32 Ohm impedance). Using other earphones with a lower impedance can damage the MP3 player or earphone, especially MP3 players with 2 earphone jacks.

If you notice a ringing noise in your ears, lower the volume immediately or stop using the MP3 player.
