Please read this instruction manual thoroughly before using this appliance! Follow all safety instructions in order to avoid damages due to improper use!

1.1 General safety

• This appliance is intended for private domestic use only. It should not be used for commercial purposes.
• Do not touch any moving parts of the appliance. Do not attach or remove the parts until the device comes to a complete stop.
• Check if the mains voltage on the rating label corresponds to your local mains supply. The only way to disconnect the appliance from the mains is to pull out the plug.

• For additional protection, this appliance should be connected to a redisual current protection switch with no more than 30 mA. Please contact an electrician for advice.

• Do not immerse the appliance, power cord or power plug in water or in other liquids.

• Always disconnect the power plug after using the appliance, before assembling/disassembling or cleaning the product, if you are leaving the room or if a fault occurs. Do not disconnect the plug by pulling on the cord.
• Do not squeeze or bend the power cord and do not rub in on sharp edges in order to prevent any damage. Keep the cord away from hot surfaces and open flames.

3 Operation

3.1 Preparation

1. Remove all packaging and sticker materials and dispose of them according to the applicable legal regulations.
2. Before using the appliance for the first time, clean all parts which come into contact with food (see the "Cleaning and Care" section).
3. Before using the appliance, cut the fruits into halves.

3.2 Operation

1. Remove the lid (8).
2. Put the small cone (2) in to the turning pin.

The large cone (1) can be snapped onto the small cone (2) for serving large fruit.

1. Place an appropriate size glass under the juice outlet (3).
2. Push the juice outlet (3) downwards. In this way, juice fills directly into the glass.
3. Insert the plug into the wall socket.
4. Switch the appliance on by firmly pressing the halved fruit onto the cones (1) or (2).
5. Pull the juice outlet (3) upwards gently in order to avoid dripping of juice. Disconnect the plug from the wall socket.

3.2.1 Hints and tips

• Do not put excessive pressure on the juicing heads: if the motor starts getting louder or the speed of the motor decreases significantly, there is too much pressure being exerted on the head.
  • After each three minutes pressing, let the motor cool down to room temperature.
• Do not touch the juice container during operation. Always hold the lower part of the motor unit when squeezing the fruit.

4 Information

4.1 Cleaning and care

WARNING: Never use petrol solvents, abrasive cleaners, metal objects or hard brushes to clean the appliance.

1. Turn the appliance off and disconnect it from the wall socket.
2. Let the appliance cool down completely.
3. Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the exterior of the base unit (4) and then wipe it dry.
4. Separate the large cone (1) from the small cone (2) for easier cleaning.
5. Store the cones (2) and (1) after you cleaned and dried them.

WARNING: Never put the appliance or power cord in water or any other liquids and never hold them under running water.

Before using the appliance after cleaning, dry all parts carefully using a soft towel.

Cleaning is easier right after the usage.

4.2 Storage

• If you do not plan to use the appliance for a long period of time, please store it carefully.
• Make sure that the appliance is unplugged and completely dry.
• Do not wrap the power cord around the appliance.
• Store it in a cool, dry place.
• Make sure the appliance is always kept out of the reach of children.

4.3 Handling and transportation

• During handling and transportation, carry the appliance in its original packaging. The packaging of the appliance protects it against physical damages.
• Do not place heavy loads on the appliance or the packaging. The appliance may be damaged.
• Dropping the appliance will render it non-operational or cause permanent damage.
