  • If the power cord or plug is damaged, it should be re- placed by a professional repair shop in order to avoid hazard.
  • This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with physical, men- tal or sensory handicaps, or by persons inexperienced or unfamiliar with the appliance, unless under supervision or in accordance with the instruc- ons as communicated to them by persons responsible for their safety. Children shall not play with the appliance.
  • This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and old- er or by persons with physical, mental or sensory handicaps, or by those who are inexperi- enced or unfamiliar with the appliance, provided they are supervised or have been in- structed how to safely use the appliance and are familiar with risks associated with the use of the appliance. Ensure that chil- dren do not play with the ap- pliance. Do not allow children to clean and maintain the ap- pliance unless they are 8 years or older and are supervised by a competent person.

1. Two touch sensors (boil / keep warm)

a. ON/OFF touch sensor: touch sensor: Touch the ON/OFF sensor to start heang water. The default seng for the water temperature is 100°C. Press and hold for approximately 3 seconds to switch to the keep warm mode. b. Set temperature touch sensor: Touch the set temperature sensor to select the temperature that suits your needs.

3. Operate the appliance

When you turn on the kele, the boil water indicator, keep warm indicator and temperature indicator ash and the appliance beeps twice. Then the water boiling and keep warm indicators turn o and the temperature indicator stays on. The kele displays the current water temperature.

4. Water boiling funcon

a. Boil the water: when the appliance is plugged in, touch the ON/ OFF sensor to directly use the 100°C water boiling mode. When heang starts, the appliance beeps and the boiling indicator lights up. When the water temperature in the kele reaches 100°C, the appliance beeps twice and the water boiling indicator will turn o. The kele will turn o automacally. b. Select the temperature to heat the water: when the appliance is plugged in, touch the Set temperature sensor to adjust the temper- ature to your needs. Then touch the On / O sensor. The kele turns on and the boiling indicator lights up. When the desired tempera- ture is reached, the kele turns o. When you touch the On / O sensor while in the keep warm mode, the kele will turn o.

5. The Keep Warm funcon

When the appliance is plugged in, touch the “Set Temperature” sensor to select one of the 7 temperatures 40°C, 50°C, 60°C, 70°C, 80°C or 90°C (Keep Warm feature is not available for the 100°C set- ng). Once you have selected the desired temperature, touch and hold the ON / OFF sensor for approximately 3 seconds and the keep warm indicator will ash 5 mes. Once it is on, the water begins to boil. When the water temperature in the kele reaches the set tem- perature, the appliance will beep twice and the appliance turns o. The kele cools down. When the temperature drops enough, the kele starts heang water again. It stops heang the water when it reaches the set temperature. The cycle begins again. During the cy- cle, the keep warm indicator is always on and the boiling water indi- cator is o. If the inial water temperature poured into the kele is higher than the set temperature, then the keep warm indicator will ash 5 mes. Then it stops ashing. Beep sounds 5 mes as a special reminder. The kele cools down to the set temperature and then starts to heats the water. Keep warm me: Keep warm cycle con- nues for 2 hours and then the appliance and the indicator turn o.

6. Time and temperature

The water temperature display accuracy is ±5°C (for at least 0.5l of water in the kele). Temperature display accuracy is lower for less water.

7. Turn o the appliance

Touch the On / O sensor at any me. The appliance and indicators will turn o. The temperature indicator connues to show temper- ature. The temperature indicator turns o aer about 20 minutes.

The keep warm mode has a memory funcon. If the water temper- ature in the kele is higher than the keep warm temperature the keep warm funcon connue to operate. If the water temperature in the kele is lower than the set keep warm temperature, the ap- pliance will turn o.

Note! Figures are for illustrave purposes only. Individual models may vary.7 CLEANING: Before cleaning, always unplug the appliance from the wall outlet and allow it to cool down completely.

1. Do not immerse the kele, cord and power base in water and

protect against contact with moisture.

2. Wipe the outside of the kele with a damp cloth or mild

cleaning agent; never use any poisonous cleaning agents.

3. Remember to clean the lter regularly. To facilitate cleaning,

remove the lter by pressing the lter tab inside the kele, and reinstall it aer cleaning. NOTE: To prevent mang, do not use any abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, steel or wood to clean the outside of the kele.

4. When the kele is not in use and in storage, you can wind the

power cord under the kele base.

DESCALE YOUR APPLIANCE

If the appliance switches o before the water boils, it means des- caling is required. Descale your kele periodically, as minerals dis- solved in the tap water can form limescale on the boom of the kele, which reduces the water heang eciency. You can use a commercially available descaler and follow the instrucons on its packaging. You can also use white vinegar and follow the instruc- ons below.

1. Fill the kele with 3 cups of white vinegar and then add water

unl it completely covers the limescale. Leave the soluon in the kele overnight.

2. Then pour the mixture out of the kele, ll the kele with
