Replace any damaged or cracked protection shield screens.

  • This device can be used by children aged from 8 years and above, and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the device in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the device. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
  • If the external flexible cable or cord of this luminaire is damaged, it shall be replaced by a special cord or cord exclusively available from the manufacturer or his service agent.
  • Non replaceable light source. The light source in this luminaire is not replaceable. When the light source reaches its end of life the whole luminaire shall be replaced.
  • Make sure that the power wiring comes from a circuit with a suitable fuse or circuit breaker.
  • Choking hazard! Ensure that plastic bags, packaging, etc. are disposed of properly and are not within reach of babies and young children.

  • Some countries may require installation of this appliance by a qualified electrician. Please check the laws and requirements in your country. If the housing is of aluminium, consult with an electrician about proper wiring methods.
  • Before proceeding installation, switch off the power to the lighting circuit at the circuit breaker or fuse box to avoid electrical shocks.
  • The construction to which the appliance is attached should be able to support 4 times the weight of the appliance for one hour without deformation.
  • Never stand directly below the appliance when it is being mounted, removed or serviced. Have a qualified technician check the appliance once a year and once before you bring it into service.
  • Overhead mounting requires extensive experience: calculating workload limits, determining the installation material to be used… Have the material and the appliance itself checked regularly. Do not attempt to install the appliance yourself if you lack these qualifications as improper installation may result in serious injuries.
  • Keep at least 20 cm distance at the top and 30 cm on either side.

Choosing an Appropriate Location

  • Please avoid installing the appliance upside-down in order to ensure its watertightness.
  • The appliance should be fixed to a stable outdoor wall made of a non-flammable material approximately between 0.5-3.0 m above the ground and at an angle of ± 60°, preferably in a location under eaves where the unit is protected from the elements and shielded from direct sunlight.
  • Do not install the appliance close to air conditioning vents, radiators, etc.

Mounting and Connection

1. This appliance does not have a built-in device to disconnect it from the electric mains.

Make sure to electrically isolate the luminaire before installation or maintenance activities are performed.

2. Use the mounting bracket to determine the location of the mounting holes.

3. Drill the holes and secure the bracket using screws and wall plugs.

4. Connect the power cable to the screw terminal. Make sure there is no strain on the cable;

leave sufficient slack.

5. Tilt the lamp in the desired angle and tighten the hinges.

Unscrew the lenses and install the new ones.

To close, press the clamp perpendicular to the appliance until it locks over the protection shield screen.

5. Care and Maintenance

  • This appliance does not need any particular maintenance. However, regularly check the mounting installation and external flexible cable or cord. Do not use the appliance if there is visible damage.
  • Regularly clean the protection shield screens to optimize the light output.
  • The frequency of cleaning depends on the operating environment: wet, smoky or particularly dirty surroundings can cause more accumulation of dirt on the optics of the appliance.
  • Before cleaning, switch off the appliance and disconnect from the mains. Use a lint-free damp cloth for cleaning. Never use solvents or alcohol for cleaning. Always dry the parts carefully.
  • Store the appliance in its original package in a dry and clean place.
