How to set the clock on the Hisense H30MOBS10HC oven?

Press the Cooking Assistant button once (AS-1). Turn the rotary knob to set the hours (0-23), then press Cooking Assistant again to set the minutes (0-59). Press a third time to confirm.

What are the available microwave power levels?

The power levels are: 100% (P100), 80% (P80), 50% (P50), 30% (P30) and 10% (P10). Select them by pressing Optional Function multiple times or by turning the rotary knob.

How to use the grill function?

Press Optional Function twice to make G-1 flash. Confirm with Confirm/+30s/Start, then turn the rotary knob to set the cooking time (max 95 min). Place the food on the provided grid and turn it halfway through cooking for even cooking.

How to defrost food automatically?

Press Pro Defrost once (dEF1). Turn the rotary knob to select the weight in grams (100-1000 g). Press Confirm/+30s/Start to start defrosting. Turn large food items during the process.

How to activate child safety lock?

In standby mode, press and hold the ECO/Child Lock button for 3 seconds until a long beep is heard. A lock icon appears. To deactivate, repeat the same operation.

How to use steam cleaning?

In standby mode, press Cooking Assistant five times (AS-5). The screen displays AS-5, then press Confirm/+30s/Start to start a 5-minute cycle at 100% power. Then wipe the interior with a soft cloth.

What utensils can I use in the microwave?

Use only microwave-safe containers: glass, ceramic, microwave-safe plastic. Avoid metal, melamine, and sealed containers. Paper or plastic dishes must be monitored.

Why does my oven beep and stop?

This may be due to a timer expired, a poorly closed door, or a malfunction. Check that the door is properly locked, the cooking time is not finished, and there is no obstruction. If the problem persists, contact Hisense customer service.

How to clean the interior and exterior of the oven?

Unplug the appliance. Clean the interior with a damp cloth and a mild detergent. Do not use abrasive products. The glass turntable and roller ring are dishwasher safe. Wipe the control panel with a soft damp cloth.

My oven won't turn on, what should I do?

Check that the plug is properly connected and that the outlet works (test with another device). Check the fuse or circuit breaker. If nothing works, wait 10 seconds and reconnect. If the problem persists, contact a Hisense authorized repairer.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

These instructions are intended for the user.

They describe the cooker and how to use it. They also apply to different types of appliances; therefore, you may find some descriptions of functions that may not apply to your appliance.

We reserve the right to any changes and errors in the instructions for use.

Never touch the surfaces of heating or cooking appliances. They will become hot during operation. Keep children at a safe distance. There is a risk of burning!

Microwave energy & high voltage! Do not remove the cover.

WARNING! The appliance and its accessible parts become hot during use. Care should be taken to avoid touching the heating elements. Children less than 8 years of age shall be kept away unless continuously supervised. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above, and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.

• The oven should be cleaned regularly, and any food deposits removed.
• Failure to maintain the oven in a clean condition could lead to deterioration of the surface, which could adversely affect the life of the appliance and possibly result in a hazardous situation.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid hazard.
• Do not let the cord hang over the edge of the table or worktop.
• Never connect this appliance to an external timer switch or remote-control system in order to avoid a hazardous situation.
• Never replace the light bulb inside the oven. It must always be replaced by Hisense service.
• Do not clean the appliance with steam cleaners, high-pressure cleaners, sharp objects, abrasive cleaning agents, and abrasive sponges and stain removers.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR GENERAL USE

Listed below are, as with all appliances, certain rules to follow and safeguards to assure top performance from this oven:

1. Always have the glass tray, roller arms, coupling and roller track in place when operating the oven.
2. Do not use the oven for any purpose other than food preparation, such as for drying clothes, paper, or any other non-food items, or for sterilizing.
3. Do not operate the oven when empty. This could damage the oven.
4. Do not use the oven cavity for any type of storage, such as for papers, cookbooks etc.
5. Do not cook any food surrounded by a membrane, such as egg yolks, potatoes, chicken liver etc. without first piercing the membrane in several places with a fork.
6. Do not insert any object into the openings on the outer case.
7. Do not at any time remove parts from the oven, such as the feet, coupling, screws etc.
8. Do not cook food directly on the glass tray. Place food in/on proper cooking utensil before placing in the oven.

IMPORTANT - COOKWARE NOT TO USE IN YOUR MICROWAVE OVEN:

• Do not use metal pans or dishes with metal handles.
• Do not use anything with a metal trim.
• Do not use paper-covered wire twist-ties on plastic bags.
• Do not use melamine dishes as they contain a material that will absorb microwave energy. This may cause the dishes to crack or char and will slow down the cooking process.
• Do not use Centura Tableware. The glaze is not suitable for microwave use. Corelle Livingware closed handle cups should not be used.
• Do not cook in a container with a restricted opening, such as a pop bottle or sealed oil bottle, as such containers may explode if heated in a microwave oven.
• Do not use conventional meat or candy thermometers.

• There are thermometers available specifically for microwave cooking. These may be used.

• Microwave utensils should be used only in accordance with manufacturer's instructions.

• Do not attempt to deep-fry foods in this oven.

• Please remember that a microwave oven only heats the liquid in a container rather than the container itself.

Therefore, even though the lid of a container is not

hot to the touch when removed from the oven, please remember that the food/liquid inside will be releasing the same amount of steam and/or spitting when the lid is removed as in conventional cooking.

1. Always test the temperature of cooked food yourself, especially if you are heating or cooking food/liquid for babies. It is advisable never to consume food/liquid straight from the oven but allow it to stand for a few minutes and stir food/liquid to distribute heat evenly.

2. Food containing a mixture of fat and water, e.g., stock, should stand for 30–60 seconds in the oven after it has been turned off. This is to allow the mixture to settle and to prevent bubbling when a spoon is placed in the food/liquid or a stock cube is added.

3. When preparing/cooking food/liquid, remember that there are certain foods, e.g., Christmas puddings, jam, and mincemeat, which heat up very quickly. When heating or cooking foods with a high fat or sugar content, do not use plastic containers.

4. Cooking utensil may become hot because of heat transferred from the heated food. This is especially true if plastic wrap has been covering the top and handles of the utensil. Potholders may be needed to handle the utensil.

5. To reduce the risk of fire in the oven cavity:

a) Do not overcook food. Carefully attend to the microwave oven if paper, plastic, or other combustible materials are placed inside the oven to facilitate cooking.
b) Remove wire twist-ties from bags before placing bags in the oven.
c) If materials inside the oven should ignite, keep oven door closed, turn the oven off at the wall switch, or shut off power at the fuse or circuit breaker panel.

This microwave oven uses modern electronic control to adjust cooking parameters to better meet your cooking needs.

When the microwave oven is connected to power supply, the oven will display "0:00" and the buzzer will ring once.

1. Press "Kitchen Assistant" once; the oven will display "AS-1".
2. Turn the rotary knob to adjust the hour figures. The input time should be between 0 and 23 hours (24-hour time format).
3. Press "Kitchen Assistant"; the minute figures will flash.
4. Turn the rotary knob to adjust the minute figures between 0 and 59.
5. Press "Kitchen Assistant" to complete clock setting. ":" will flash.

NOTE:

1. If the clock is not set, it would not function when powered.
2. If you press "Stop/Clear" During the clock setting process, the clock will automatically go back to the previous status.

Use the countdown timer to set an alarm.

1. Press "Kitchen Assistant" twice. The oven will display "AS-2."
2. Turn the rotary knob to enter the correct time. (Maximum cooking time is 95 minutes.)
3. Press "Confirm/+30s/Start" to confirm the setting.
4. When the cooking time is reached, the buzzer will ring 5 times.

If the clock is set (24-hour system), the screen will display the current time.

NOTE:

• When the timer is running, other functions cannot be used.
• When the microwave is not in use, this feature allows you to use the microwave as a timer.

• Please make sure the clock has been set.

• Press "Optional Function" once and "P100" will flash.

• Press "Confirm/+30s/Start" to confirm. "P100" will be lit constantly.
• Press "Optional Function" repeatedly or turn rotary knob to select the microwave power between 100% and 10%. "P100", "P 80", "P 50", "P 30", "P 10" will display in order.
• Press "Confirm/+30s/Start" to confirm.
• Turn rotary knob to adjust the cooking time. (The time set should be between 0:05 and 95:00.)

NOTE:

When adjusting a time setting, the increments (or decrements) will be as follows:

Grilling is especially suitable for thin slices of meat, escalopes or steaks, meat chops, skewers, sausages, or pieces of chicken. Grilling is also suitable for toasting bread or sandwiches and finishing dishes au gratin.

2. Press "Optional Function" repeatedly or turn "rotary knob" to select the grill function. Stop pressing/turning when "G-1" flashes.
3. Press "Confirm/+30s/Start" to confirm. The "G-1" will light up.
4. Turn "rotary knob" to adjust the cooking time. (The time setting should be between 0:05 and 95:00.)
5. Press "Confirm/+30s/Start" to start cooking.

NOTE:

We recommend that you use the supplied grill rack. Place your food on the grill rack, and place the grill rack on top of the glass turntable plate.

CONVECTION - WITH PREHEATING

Convection cooking allows you to cook the food as in a traditional oven. Microwaves are not used. It is recommended that you preheat the oven to the appropriate temperature before placing the food in the oven.

1. Press "Optional Function" three times and "140" will flash.
2. Press "Optional Function" repeatedly or turn the "rotary knob" to select convection function. Stop pressing/turning when "140" flashes.
3. Press "Confirm/+30s/Start" to confirm.
4. Turn the "rotary knob" to select the convection temperature.

Note: The temperature can be selected in the range from 140 to 230 degrees.

1. Press "Confirm/+30s/Start" to confirm the temperature.
2. Press "Confirm/+30s/Start" to start preheating. When the preheating temperature is reached, the buzzer will sound twice to remind you to put the food into the oven. The preheated temperature is displayed and flashes.
3. Put the food into the oven and close the door.
4. Turn the "rotary knob" to adjust the cooking time. (The maximum setting time is 95 minutes.)
5. Press the "Confirm/+30s/Start" key to start cooking.

CONVECTION - WITHOUT PREHEATING

1. Press "Optional Function" three times and "140" will flash.
2. Press "Optional Function" repeatedly or turn " " to select convection function. Stop pressing/turning when "140" flashes.
3. Press "Confirm/+30s/Start" to confirm.
4. Turn the "rotary knob" to select the convection temperature.

Note: The temperature can be set from 140 to 230 degrees.

1. Press "Confirm/+30s/Start" to confirm the temperature setting.
2. Turn the "rotary knob" to adjust the cooking time. (The maximum setting time is 95 minutes.)
3. Press the "Confirm/+30s/Start" key to start cooking.

MULTI-STAGE COOKING

A maximum of two stages can be set. If one stage is defrosting, it should always be the first stage. The buzzer will ring once after each stage and the next stage will begin.

Note: Auto menu and preheating cannot be set as one of the multi-stages.

Example: if you want to defrost the food for 5 minutes, followed by cooking with 80% microwave power for 7 minutes, proceed as follows:

1. Pre ss "Pro Defrost" twice; the screen will display "dEF2".
2. Turn the "rotary knob" to set the defrost time to 5 minutes.
3. Press "Optional Function" once.
4. Press "Confirm/+30s/Start" to confirm.
5. Turn the "rotary knob" to choose 80% microwave power till "P80" is displayed.
6. Press "Confirm/+30s/Start" to confirm.
7. Turn "rotary knob" to set the cooking time to 7 minutes.
8. Press "Confirm/+30s/Start" to start cooking.

SPEEDY COOKING

1. In waiting state, press "Confirm/+30s/Start" key to cook at 100% power level for 30 seconds. Each press on the same key increases the cooking time by 30 seconds. The maximum cooking time is 95 minutes.
2. During microwave, grill, convection, and combination cooking modes, press "Confirm/+30s/Start" key to cook at 100% power level for 30 seconds. Each press on the same key increases the cooking time 30 seconds.

Note: This function cannot work under weight defrost cooking, multi-stage, or auto menu cooking.

1. In waiting state, turn the "rotary knob" right to choose the desired function, and "A1", "A2", "A3" ... "A10" will be displayed.
2. Press "Confirm/+30s/Start" to confirm the selected function.
3. Turn the "rotary knob" to set the weight of the food, and "g" indicator will light up.
4. Press "Confirm/+30s/Start" to start cooking.

Note: 1. Cake menu is under convection cooking with 160-warm-up function, and you should preheat first following the auto menu operation. When the oven reaches the temperature, it will stop heating up. An acoustic signal will remind you to open the door and place the food in the oven. Then, press "Confirm/+30s/Start" to start cooking.

1. When roast chicken is selected and 2/3 of the time has passed, the oven will ring twice to remind you to turn the food. You can simply leave it to continue. For better results, however, turn the food over, close the door, and then press "Confirm/+30s/Start" to continue cooking.

WEIGHT (AUTO) DEFROST

TIME (SPEED) DEFROST

The oven allows defrosting of meat, poultry, and seafood. Defrosting time and operating power will be adjusted automatically according to the preset weight. Weight of the food to be defrosted may be between 100 g and 1000 g.

1. Press the "PRO DEFROST" key once. The oven will display "dEF1".
2. Turn the "rotary knob" to select the weight of food. At the same time, "g" will light up. The weight should be between 100 and 1000 g.
3. Press the "START/+30SEC" key to start defrosting.

NOTE:

Large items may be frozen in the centre. To ensure even thawing, turn them over from time to time and break them into smaller pieces during defrosting.

Drain liquids during defrosting as the juices from food can get hot and cook the food.

The oven also allows speed defrosting.

1. Press the "PRO DEFROST" key twice; the oven will display "dEF2".
2. Turn the "rotary knob" to select the cooking time. The maximum setting time is 95 minutes.
3. Press the "START/+30SEC" key to start defrosting.

NOTE:

Large items may be frozen in the centre. To ensure even thawing, turn them over from time to time and break them into smaller pieces during defrosting.

Drain liquids during defrosting as the juices from food can get hot and cook the food.

1. Press the "Home Fry" key.
2. Turn the "rotary knob" till "H1", "H2", "H3", "H4", "H5", "H6", "H7", "H8" or "H9" displays.

4. When the preheating temperature reached, the buzzer will sound to remind you to put the food into the oven. Put the food into the oven and close the door.

Note: When you choose the Home Fry function, please do not put the food into the oven at the beginning. The oven needs to be preheated first. After several minutes, the buzzer sounds twice to remind you to put the food into the oven. After putting the food in the oven, please press Confirm/+30s/Start again. The timer will count down, and the food will be cooked perfectly.

DEODORIZATION

1. In waiting state, press "Kitchen Assistant" 3 times. The screen displays "AS-3".

CHILD LOCK

In waiting state, press "ECO/Child Lock" for 3 seconds. There will be a long "beep" denoting that the child-lock has been activated, and the lock indicator will light up. The screen will display current time or 0:00.

STEAM CLEAN FUNCTION

1. During cooking, press "Kitchen Assistant" to check the current time.
2. During cooking, press "Optional Function"; current power level will be displayed for 2–3 seconds.

In waiting state, press "Kitchen Assistant" 4 times; the screen displays "AS-4". Then, press "Confirm/+30s/Start" and the oven will enter mute mode. The buzzer will not sound for any operation.

STEAM CLEAN FUNCTION

2. Press "Confirm/+30s/Start" to start steam cleaning (100% microwave power for 5 minutes).

1. Turn off the oven and remove the power plug from the wall socket before cleaning.
2. Keep the inside of the oven clean. When food splatters or spilled liquids adhere to oven walls, wipe them with a damp cloth. The use of harsh detergent or abrasives is not recommended. The outside oven surface should be cleaned with a damp cloth. To prevent damage to the operating parts inside the oven, water should not be allowed to seep into the ventilation openings.
3. Do not allow the control panel to become wet. Clean with a soft damp cloth. Do not use detergents, abrasives, or spray-on cleaners on the control panel.
4. If steam accumulates inside or around the outside of the oven door, wipe with a soft cloth. This may occur when the microwave oven is operated under high humidity conditions and in no way indicates a malfunction of the unit.
5. It is occasionally necessary to remove the glass tray for cleaning. Wash the tray in warm sudsy water or in a dishwasher.
6. The roller ring and oven cavity floor should be cleaned regularly to avoid excessive noise. Simply wipe the bottom surface of the oven with a mild detergent, water, or window cleaner, and dry. The roller ring may be washed in mild sudsy water or in a dishwasher. Cooking vapours collect during repeated use, but in no way affect the bottom surface or roller ring wheels. When removing the roller ring from the cavity floor for cleaning, be sure to replace it in its proper position.
7. Remove odours from your oven by combining a cup of water with the juice and skin of one lemon in a deep microwaveable bowl. Microwave for 5 minutes, wipe thoroughly and dry with a soft cloth.

ENVIRONMENT

Do not throw away the appliance with regular household waste at the end of its life. Rather, hand it in at an official collection point for recycling. By doing this, you will help preserve the environment.

INSTALLATION

1. Make sure all packing materials are removed from the inside of the door.
2. Inspect the oven after unpacking for any visual damage such as:

13. Make sure that the AC outlet is easily accessible so that the plug can be removed quickly in an emergency.

Otherwise, it should be possible to disconnect the device using a switch from the circuit. In this case, the existing provisions of the electrical safety standards should be observed.

BEFORE YOU CALL FOR SERVICE

b) Check the premises for a blown circuit fuse or a tripped main circuit breaker. If these seem to be operating properly, test the outlet with another appliance.

a) Check to see whether the timer is set.
