The following pictograms are shown on the machine:

Never point the water jet to yourself or other persons. Never point the water jet to the machine itself. Never point the water jet to electrical wiring or power outlets.
ADDITIONAL SAFETY WARNINGS FOR HIGH-PRESSURE CLEANERS
Electrical safety
- Never point the water jet to electrical wiring or power outlets because of risk of electric shock.
- If you use an extension cord, it must be of a watertight construction.
- Always remove the plug from the socket before carrying out any maintenance.

Using the wrong type of extension cord can be dangerous!
Personal safety
- High-pressure cleaners must not be used by children or untrained persons.
- Attention: when switching on the machine it kicks back by the force of outgoing ater.
- Never use the machine near human beings, unless they are wearing protective clothing.
- Never point the water jet to yourself or others to clean clothing or footwear.
- Keep the high-pressure hose connected to the machine as long as the system is under pressure. Disconnecting the high-pressure hose while the system is under pressure is dangerous.
- Do not use acids or flammable liquids in the machine. Only use detergents with ph-value of 6-8.
- Never use the machine if the connecting line, safety provisions or other important parts have been damaged.
- When not in use, the machine must be switched off to avoid unintentional starting.
Power tool use and care
- Never point the water jet to the machine itself.
Service
- High-pressure hoses, couplings, etc. are important for the safety of the machine. Only use high-pressure hoses, couplings, etc. which are recommended by the manufacturer.
- Only use spare parts from the manufacturer or which have been approved by the
- manufacturer.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY

Always check that the power supply corresponds to the voltage on the rating plate.
- Preferably connect the machine to an electric group which is protected with an earth leakage switch of max. 30 mA.

Mounting the lance (fig. B)
- Tighten the bayonet of the lance (8) in the connection of the pistol grip (5).

Before mounting or removing the lance, always remove the plug from the wall socket and make sure that the pressure is off the system.
Mounting an accessory (fig. B)
- Tighten the bayonet of the accessory in the connection of the lance (8).
Connecting the high-pressure hose (fig. C)
- Screw the coupling nut (11) to the one end of the high-pressure hose (12) onto the
- connection (13) on the pistol grip (5).
- Screw the coupling nut (14) to the other end of the high-pressure hose onto the connection (2) on the machine.
- Tighten the coupling nuts firmly.
Connecting to the water supply
- Remove the protective cap.
- Connect a garden hose which has been connected to the water mains directly or via a reducing nipple to the connection (3).
Adding a cleaning agent
- Loosen the cap and add a measured amount of cleaning agent to the tank.
- Re-install the cap (8) and tighten it securely.

Only add a cleaning agent if the machine is switched off and the tap of the water mains has been closed.
Instructions for use
- Fully open the tap of the water mains before switching on the machine.
- Hold the trigger of the pistol grip until all air is released from the hose.
- As soon as water starts flowing out of the nozzle, release the trigger and switch on the machine.
• Take hold of the pistol grip and move the lance evenly along the surface to be cleaned. - Direct the nozzle as required in order to achieve optimal cleaning results. Determining the correct distance for the water jet is a matter of experience.
- Close the tap of the water mains after having switched off the machine.
- Hold the trigger of the pistol grip until the pressure is off the system.
- Lock the trigger using the safety catch.

Never let the machine run idle for more than 2 minutes. Within that period the temperature of the water in the system can become so high that the pump will be damaged beyond repair.
Switching on and off (fig. A)
- To switch the machine on, set the on/off switch (1) to 'ON/I'.
- To switch the machine off, set the on/off switch (1) to 'OFF/0'.

Auto-stop
The auto-stop switch avoids that the maximum operating pressure is exceeded. When releasing the trigger of the pistol grip, the auto-stop switch switches off the pump and the water jet stops spraying. When pressing the trigger of the pistol grip, the auto-stop switch switches on the pump again.

Allow no part of the body anywhere near the rotor when the high-pressure cleaner is switched on.
Assembling the patio cleaner
- Tighten the bayonet of the patio cleaner (10) into the socket of the lance (8).
- Tighten the bayonet of the lance (8) into the socket of the pistol grip (5).

Overheating protection
The machine has been fitted with a thermal protection. In case of overheating, the machine switches off automatically. After the motor has cooled down the machine automatically switches on again.

Before connecting or removing the patio cleaner, always remove the mains plug of the high-pressure cleaner from the socket and make sure that the pressure is released from the system.

Always use the original lance and hoses to decrease the risk of overheating.
Instructions for use

Clean the nozzle using the cleaning pin to decrease the risk of overheating.

Start the high-pressure cleaner only once the pavement scrubber is positioned on the surface to be cleaned.
Soap supply
- Pull out the nozzle to put the soap supply into operation.
- Press the nozzle to put the soap supply out of operation.

Never put the soap supply into operation while holding the trigger of the pistol grip.
- Hold the pistol grip of the high-pressure cleaner and move the pavement scrubber evenly across the surface to be cleaned.
Using the drain cleaner (fig. A)
- Tighten the bayonet of the drain cleaner in the connection of the pistol grip (5).
- Insert the drain cleaner till the mark into the pipe.
- Switch on the machine.
Adjusting the water jet (fig. D)
- Turn the nozzle (15) counterclockwise for a pointed jet.
- Turn the nozzle clockwise for a flat jet.
USING THE PATIO CLEANER (FIG. E)

The patio cleaner is ideally suited for cleaning floor and wall surfaces made of different materials, such as wood, concrete, tiles and natural stone. Not suitable for commercial use.

Do not switch on the machine until the drain cleaner is in the pipeline.
- Trigger the pistol grip.
- As soon as the drain cleaner stops at a clogged place release the trigger several times and press again.
- Repeat several times in case of severe soiling.
- Switch off the high-pressure cleaner and the pull the drain cleaner out of the pipe.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
The machine does not require any special maintenance.
- Regularly clean the ventilation slots.
- If the machine is not used for a longer period of time (3 months or more) or if it is stored in an unheated area, then let the motor before storage suck some anti-freeze to prevent the risk of freezing and oxidation.
Cleaning the inlet filter
Before use always check the inlet filter and clean it if necessary.
- Use your fingers to remove the filter from the connection. Beware not to damage the filter.
- Use your fingers to re-install the filter.
- Check whether the filter has been placed into the connection correctly.
Cleaning the nozzle (fig. F)
During use, if the water jet decreases or stops, the nozzle needs to be cleaned.
