How to install the battery in the transmitter?

Open the transmitter housing using a flathead screwdriver. Insert a CR2032 battery respecting polarity. Close the compartment. If the transmitter is not used for a long time, remove the battery.

What is the maximum range of the doorbell?

The range is 150 meters in open field. Walls, PVC or metal may reduce this range.

How to pair the transmitter and receiver?

Press and hold the receiver button for 5 seconds until a double beep. Then press the transmitter button. A beep confirms pairing. A double beep from the receiver indicates failure.

What to do if the doorbell does not work?

Check that the transmitter has a working battery and the receiver is plugged in. Make sure the volume is not at minimum. Perform pairing if necessary.

Can I use the transmitter outdoors?

Yes, the transmitter has a protection rating of IP44, protecting it against water splashes. Avoid immersion.

How to mount the transmitter on the wall?

Use the back plate as a template. Drill holes, insert the provided wall plugs, then fix the plate with screws. Snap the front plate into place. You can also use double-sided tape.

How many melodies are available?

The receiver offers 32 different melodies, selectable via the rotary selector [4].

How to adjust the volume?

Use the volume control [3] on the receiver to adjust the sound level.

What to do in case of water damage?

Unplug the receiver immediately. Do not use it until it is completely dry. The IP44 transmitter is resistant to splashes but not immersion.

What is the battery life?

The CR2032 battery typically lasts several months depending on usage. Remove it if the transmitter is not used for a long time to prevent leaks.

4. Battery

Refer to the illustrations on page 2 of this manual.

1. Open the transmitter to reveal the battery compartment. Use a flat-head screwdriver.
2. Install the CR2032 battery according to the correct polarity.
3. Close the battery compartment. Proceed with the installation.

Remark: Remove the batteries if the transmitter will not be used for a longer period.

CAUTION:

Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same or equivalent type. Batteries (battery pack or batteries installed) shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like. Do not puncture batteries or throw them in fire as they may explode. Do not attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries (alkaline). Dispose of batteries in accordance with local regulations. Keep batteries away from children.

5. Installation

Test the operating range between the receiver and the transmitter. The operating range is 150 m in the open air, but may be less due to walls and other obstructions such as PVC or metal frames.

Refer to the illustrations on page 2 of this manual.

1. Carefully open the housing of the transmitter and use the back plate as a template. Mark the drilling holes at the required height.
2. Drill the holes using a drill and the appropriate drill bit (not included).
3. Insert a nylon plug (included) into each hole.
4. Fix the back plate with the included screws. Click the front plate onto the back plate.
5. Simply plug the receiver into the mains.

Remark: You can also fix the transmitter using double-sided tape.

6. Operation

Refer to the illustrations on page 2 of this manual.

1. Make sure both the receiver and transmitter are powered.
2. The receiver [2] will ring when the button on the transmitter [1] is pressed.
3. Select the melody with the melody selector [4] and adjust the volume with volume control button [3].

7. Pairing

1. On the receiver, hold the button pressed for 5 seconds until you hear a "ding-dong" sound.
2. Now, press the transmitter button. The transmitter emits a "ding" sound to confirm successful pairing. The receiver emits a "ding-dong" sound when it exits the pairing mode.

• Hint: In order to save on cost and time, please reread the manual and check if the flaw is caused by obvious causes prior to presenting the article for repair. Note that returning a non-defective article can also involve handling costs.
