• Read the user manual completely be- fore using this product! Keep it for fu- ture reference.

• Before using the appliance, check whether the voltage indicated on the rang plate matches that of your mains supply!

• Do not pull the cable if you want to disconnect the plug from the power source. Always pull the plug itself!

• Always disconnect the plug from the power source if the appliance is not being used! Do not leave the product unaended!

• This appliance is intended for person- al use only!

• Cleaning and maintenance should not be carried out by children.17English

• This appliance can be operated by children from 8 years of age and above, as well as by people with re- duced physical, sensory or mental capacies or who lack knowledge or experience, if they have been super- vised or instructed regarding safe use of the device, and they understand the resultant dangers.

• Never immerse it in water for clean- ing. Wipe the body with a dry cloth.

• Use the product only on a at surface.

• Disconnect the appliance from the mains when it is not being used or during cleaning.

• Please ensure that the cable does not come into contact with any hot or moist surfaces.

• Use only fruits and vegetables from which you desire to extract the juice.

1. Scope of delivery

Take the appliance out of the package and remove all the packaging material. Place it on a at and rm surface.

• Connect the plug to a properly installed socket.

• Place the juice container (1) under the juice spout with a drip stop funcon (6).

• Push the juice spout (6) up to use the drip stop funcon (e.g., when changing the juice container).

• Close the locking latch (5).

• Switch on the appliance using the speed level switch (2). You have two speeds to choose from. Choose level 1 for a slow juice extracon and level 2 for a fast juice extracon.

• Take the desired fruit or vegetable and place it at the top in the opening of the lid (9) and press it lightly with the plunger (10). Cauon! You can run the appliance for about 1 minute. Then please wait for 1 minute. This process can be repeated up to three mes. Subsequently, allow the juicer to cool down for 15 minutes. • It is always advisable to use the waste container (4) provided. This is the only one which ts the appliance properly.

• Before removing the juice container, press the spout upwards to use the drip stop funcon and prevent the juice from dripping out.

• Aer usage, remove the power cord from the socket and then clean the appliance. Note: Ensure that you refrigerate the juice aer extracon. Remember that the juice should not be stored for more than one day. Do not keep the juice in metal containers because the acid in the juice may aect the surface and impair the taste.

7. Cleaning and Care

Disconnect the plug of the appliance from the mains socket before cleaning. Never immerse the base unit along with the motor in water! Never use scouring or aggressive cleaning agents to clean the appliance. We recommend that you clean the juicer aer each use. Dismantle the appliance rst as follows: ① Release the locking latch (5) on both sides of the appliance. ② Remove the transparent lid (9) of the appliance. ③ Then remove the strainer (8) and the drip tray (7). Please note that leover fruits and vegetables may sll be present. Proceed carefully. ④ Finally remove the waste container and empty it out.

• Clean the base unit with a slightly dampened cloth.

• The other components of the appliance can be cleaned with water and a mild cleaning agent.

• Clean the strainer with a brush having ne so bristles.

• Allow the parts to dry adequately before assembling the appliance again.25English Note: Reassemble the appliance aer cleaning. When assembling, please ensure that the correct sequence (starng from 1 to 9) is followed, as shown in Figure 1. Make sure that the strainer (8) locks properly before placing the lid (9) on the appliance. Store the juicer with the lid in place to protect the components from dust. Store the appliance in the original packaging, if you do not want to use it for a long period.

8. Safety instrucons and disclaimer

Never try to open the device to carry out repairs or modicaons. Avoid contact with the mains voltage. Do not short-circuit the product. The device is not water- proof, therefore please use it only in dry surroundings. Protect it from high humid- ity, water and snow. Do not expose the appliance to high temperatures. Do not expose the appliance to sudden changes in temperature or strong vibraons, as this could damage the electronic components. Check the appliance for any damage before using it. The appliance should not be used if it has been subject to impact or has been damaged in any other manner. Please comply with the local regulaons and restricons. Do not use the device for purposes other than those described in the user manual. This product is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children or mentally disabled persons. Any repair or modicaons to the device, which is not carried out by the original supplier, will void any warranty and guarantee claims. The appliance should be used only by persons who have read and understood this user manual. 9. Disposal instrucons

In line with the European WEEE direcve, electrical and electronic devices should not be disposed of along with domesc waste. Their components must be sent separately for recycling or disposal, as improper disposal of toxic and dangerous components may permanently damage the environment. According to the electrical and electronic equipment act (ElektroG), you are obliged (as a consumer) to return (free of charge) all electrical and electronic de- vices to the manufacturer, the point of sale, or public collecon points at the end of their service life. The relevant local laws regulate the details in this regard. The symbol on the product, in the user manual or/and the packaging refers to these regulaons.
