Frequently Asked Questions - 303921 Arendo

How do I clean the Arendo 303921 juicer?
Disconnect the plug from the mains. Do not immerse the base unit in water. Wipe the base unit with a slightly damp cloth. Dismantle the appliance: release the locking latch, remove the transparent lid, strainer, drip tray, and waste container. Clean these parts with water and a mild cleaning agent. Use a brush with fine soft bristles to clean the strainer. Allow all parts to dry thoroughly before reassembling.
Can I run the juicer continuously?
No, the juicer has a duty cycle. You can operate it for about 1 minute, then wait 1 minute. This cycle can be repeated up to three times. After three cycles, allow the juicer to cool down for 15 minutes.
What is the drip-stop function and how do I use it?
The drip-stop function prevents juice from dripping when you remove the juice container. To use it, push the juice spout upwards. This is useful when changing containers or after juicing.
How do I assemble the juicer correctly?
Assemble in the sequence shown in Figure 1: start with speed level switch (1), residue container (2), base unit (3), safety switches (4), juice outlet (5), drip tray (6), strainer (7), transparent lid (8), plunger unit (9), and plunger (10). Ensure the locking latch is closed before operation.
Why won't the juicer start?
The juicer has a safety circuit that prevents operation if the lid is not properly closed. Check that the transparent lid is securely in place and the locking latch is engaged. Also ensure the power cord is connected and the speed switch is set.
What fruits and vegetables can I use in the juicer?
You can use any fruits and vegetables from which you desire to extract juice. The manual advises using only fruits and vegetables, and not to use the appliance for other purposes.
How should I store the juice after extraction?
Refrigerate the juice immediately after extraction. Do not store it for more than one day. Do not keep the juice in metal containers as the acid may affect the surface and impair the taste.
Is the juicer safe to use near water?
No, the juicer should not be used near water such as bathtubs, washbasins, or swimming pools to avoid risk of immersion or splashing. The appliance is not waterproof and should be used only in dry surroundings.
What should I do if the power cord is damaged?
Do not turn on the appliance. Contact the manufacturer for inspection, repair, or replacement. Do not attempt to repair the cord yourself.
How do I dispose of the Arendo juicer at the end of its life?
Follow the WEEE directive. Do not dispose of it with household waste. Return it free of charge to the manufacturer, point of sale, or public collection points for recycling.
