- Read the manual completely before using the product! Keep this user manual carefully for future reference.
- This appliance is intended for person- al use only! This appliance is not in- tended for commercial use.
- Do not pull the cable if you want to disconnect the plug from the power source. Always pull the plug itself!
- Always disconnect the plug from the power source if the appliance is not being used! Do not leave the electric grill unaended!
- This appliance emits a lot of heat during operaon. Therefore, touch only the operang controls. In case of doubt, use heat-resistant gloves.20 English
- Cleaning and maintenance should not be carried out by children.
- This appliance can be operated by children from 8 years of age and above, as well as by people with re- duced physical, sensory or mental capacies or who lack knowledge or experience, if they have been super- vised or instructed regarding safe use of the device, and they understand the resultant dangers.
- CAUTION! Some parts of the prod- uct may become very hot and cause burns. Be very careful if children or frail persons are present.

4. Assembly and inial use
CAUTION! Even if the appliance is not being used, always disconnect the mains plug from the socket before inserng the individual parts or cleaning.
1. Take the appliance out of the package and remove all the packaging materi-
al. Check the appliance for completeness.
2. Remove the grill plate by pressing the unlocking buons and take them
3. Before using it for the rst me, clean the grill plate with warm water and a
mild cleaning agent. Then thoroughly dry the components.
4. Replace the grill plates. Make sure that they lock in place to ensure a

Smart mode The smart mode automacally sets the temperature and heang me depending on the selected program.
1. Insert the mains plug into the socket and you hear a beep.
2. Press the ON/OFF buon " " to start the appliance. The status indicator
light up again.28 English
3. Then select the appropriate mode (food category). If you want to roast
chicken for example, you can press the "Chicken" buon. Aer selecng the food category, the ve status LEDs glow together.
4. Press the "OK" buon if all the sengs are ok. Preheat the appliance. The
status LED "PRE-HEATING" glows accordingly.
5. When the temperature reaches the correct temperature, a beep is heard
which indicates that the preheang is completed. At this me, the status LED "PRE-HEATING" glows constantly and the indicator lamp "START" starts ashing.
6. Place the food on the base plate and close the lid. The thickness of the
food can be automacally detected in about 3 seconds, and the appliance selects the heang process accordingly. At this me the "PRE-HEATING" and "START" indicators glow constantly and the "RARE" indicator ashes.
7. For connuous heang, the indicator lights change gradually from "RARE"
to "MEDIUM" to "WELL DONE" to indicate the status of the food. Once a status is reached, the ashing indicator starts glowing steadily and the next indicator starts ashing. 8. If the "WELL DONE" indicator glows connuously, then the roasng process
is complete and you hear a beep. Then the appliance automacally switch- es o. Open the handle and check the food. Cauon! The smart mode cannot be used if the grille is used in the open posion. Manual mode
1. Insert the mains plug into the socket and you hear a beep.
2. Press the ON/OFF buon " " to start the appliance. Press the " "
buon to start the manual mode.
3. Then press the "OK" buon. The appliance starts to preheat. At this me,
only the "PRE-HEATING" indicator ashes.
4. When preheang is completed, you hear a beep. The "PRE-HEATING"
indicator glows connuously and the other four status LEDs ash one aer the other.
5. Place the food on the grilling surface and then close it. The appliance starts
the roasng process. In manual mode, the thickness of the food is not detected and there is no status reminder. Check the status of the food aer a few minutes. Helpful ps:
- For sasfactory results, apply a lile cooking oil or cooking spray to the plates.
- Close the grill plates during preheang. In manual mode, there is no detec- on funcon, which means that the appliance connues to run for about two hours unl it automacally turns o.30 English
- Open the cover only using the handle. Remove the food with a heat re- sistant plasc spatula. Never use metal tongs or a knife as these can cause damage to the non-sck coang of the cooking plates.
- The beep for "RARE" and "MEDIUM" is heard only when the beef funcon is used. For all other funcons there is only one beep for "WELL DONE".
6. Usage as an open grill

7. Cleaning and Care
Even if the appliance is not being used, disconnect the mains plug from the socket before cleaning it and/or the individual parts. This product does not contain any user serviceable parts.
1. Disconnect the appliance from the mains and allow it to cool down
completely. Cauon! The grill is sll very hot. It takes a while to cool down.
2. Press the unlock buons on the top and boom and removes the plates
3. Aer removing the grill plates, you can clean them in warm soapy water
or in the dishwasher. Dry the plates completely before placing them back on the grill.
4. Remove the drip tray at the boom of the appliance wearing gloves, emp-
ty the drip tray into a heat-resistant pan, rinse it in warm, soapy water or place it in the upper rack of the dishwasher and dry it thoroughly later. Note: Before removing the drip tray, make sure that the temperature of oil or oil residues is less than 40 ° C, otherwise it can cause burn injuries if it is too hot.
5. Wipe the other surfaces of the grille using a clean, damp cloth.

9. Store the appliance in a dry place and out of reach of children. The grill
should not be stored vercally. Always place it on the stands.
8. Safety instrucons and disclaimer
Never try to open the device to carry out repairs or modicaons. Avoid contact with the mains voltage. Do not short-circuit the product. The appliance is not approved for outdoor use. Therefore please use it only in dry surroundings. Protect it from high humidity, water and snow. Do not expose the appliance to high temperatures. Do not expose the appliance to sudden changes in temperature or heavy vibra- ons, as this could damage the electronic components. Check the appliance for damage before using it. The appliance should not be used if it was subject to impact or has been damaged in some other manner. Please comply with the local regulaons and restricons. Do not use the appliance for purposes other than those described in the user manual. This product is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children or mentally disabled persons. Any repair or modicaons to the appliance , which is not carried out by the original supplier, will void any warranty and guarantee claims. The appliance should be used only by persons who have read and understood this user manual. The specicaons of the appliance may be changed without special prior noce.
9. Disposal instrucons
In line with the European WEEE direcve, electrical and electronic devices should not be disposed of along with domesc waste. Their components must be sent separately for recycling or disposal, as improper disposal of toxic and dangerous components may permanently damage the environment.
