FLAMA shall not be liable for any use that is not in accordance with the instrucons. Please check that the supply voltage of your home electrical system corresponds to the voltage on the appliance’s rang plate. Do not use the appliance for any other purpose other than that described in the user manual and use only original accessories. Always place the ingredients to be fried inside the basket to prevent them from coming into contact with the heang components. Do not cover the air inlets and outlets while the appliance is switched on. Do not ll the container with oil as this could pose a re hazard. Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid, or rinse it under running water for cleaning. Do not use the appliance if the plug, the power cord or the appliance itself are damaged. If the power cord is damaged, have it replaced at an Authorized Flama Technical Assistance Service in order to avoid a hazard. This appliance must not be used by children aged 0 to 8. This appliance may be used by children aged 8 and over and by persons with physical, sensory or mental disabilies or lack of experience and knowledge if they are supervised or have received instrucons concerning the safe use of the appliance and have been warned of the dangers involved. Children must not play with the appliance. The cleaning and maintenance of14 www.ama.pt the appliance must not be carried out by children. Keep the appliance and its cord out of the reach of children under the age of 8. Keep the power cord away from hot surfaces. This appliance must only be connected to an earthed socket. Always check that the plug is rmly inserted into the socket. Always place and use the appliance on a dry, stable and horizontal surface, posioning the handles (if any) so as to prevent the spillage of hot liquids. This appliance is not intended to be operated using an external mer or a separate remote control system. Do not place the appliance against a wall or other appliances. Leave at least 10 cm of free space at the back and sides and 10 cm of free space above the appliance. Do not place anything on top of the appliance. During hot air frying, hot steam is released through the air outlets. Keep your hands and face at a safe distance from the steam and air outlets. Also be careful with hot steam and air when removing the container from the appliance. Accessible surfaces may become hot during use. The appliance’s accessories heat up when you use them. Take care when handling them. Before using the appliance, always make sure that the heang component and its surroundings are clean and free from food traces to ensure a proper operaon. Do not place the appliance near or on top of a gas stove or any type of electric stove or electric hob, or inside a heated oven. The appliance is intended for regular household use only. It is not intended for environments such as sta pantries in stores, oces, farms, and other work environments. It is also not15 English suitable for use by customers in hotels, motels, inns, and other residenal environments. This appliance was designed to be used at ambient temperatures between 5°C and 40°C. Always switch o the appliance aer each use by removing the plug from the power socket. Allow the appliance to cool down for approximately 30 minutes before handling or cleaning it. Do not overll the basket. Fill the basket only up to the MAX indicaon. Make sure that the ingredients prepared in this appliance come out golden yellow, rather than dark or brown. Dispose of burnt residues. Do not fry fresh potatoes at a temperature higher than 180°C (to reduce acrylamide producon). Aer removing the container with the basket from the appliance, place it on a suitable surface and allow it to sit for 30 seconds before removing the basket from the container. Be careful when cleaning the upper area of the preparaon chamber: hot resistance, edges of metal parts. Do not use the appliance for any other purpose other than that described in the instrucon manual and use only original accessories. MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Note: Remove the frying basket drawer for the fryer to cool down faster. Clean the appliance aer each use. Disconnect the appliance from the power outlet and always wait for the fryer to cool down before cleaning. The frying basket drawer and the grid have non-sck coang. Do not use metal cooking utensils or abrasive cleaning materials to clean them, as this may damage the non- sck coang. Wash the frying basket drawer with hot water, some liquid detergent and a non- abrasive sponge. You can use a degreasing liquid to remove any remaining dirness. Tip: If there is food residue stuck to the grid or to the frying basket drawer, soak them in hot water and soap for about 10 minutes. Clean the inside of the appliance with hot water and a non-abrasive sponge. Clean the electric resistance with a cleaning brush to remove any food residue. Clean the outside of the appliance with a damp cloth and then wipe it with a so dry cloth. The grid and the frying basket drawer can be washed in the dishwasher. Never place the grid in the frying basket drawer without the rubber mounngs, as it may damage its non-sck coang. OPERATION WARNING - Never leave the appliance unaended during use, so that you may intervene immediately in case of danger. Before rst use Remove all materials from the packaging. Remove all sckers or labels from the appliance, except its rang plate. Wash the frying basket drawer with hot water, some liquid detergent and a non- abrasive sponge. Clean the inside and the outside of the appliance with a damp cloth. This fryer works with hot air. Do not ll the frying basket drawer with frying oil or fat. Never place the grid in the frying basket drawer without the rubber mounngs, as it may damage its non-sck coang.17 English Usage Place the appliance on a stable, horizontal and at surface. Do not place the appliance on non-heat- resistant surfaces. Do not ll the frying basket drawer with oil or any other liquid. Insert the frying basket drawer in the body correctly. Otherwise, the appliance will not work. Connect the power cord to a power outlet. All indicators will light up briey, the appliance will enter standby mode and the display will show the word ‘OFF’. Tip: If necessary, you can preheat the appliance before inserng the food using the PREHEAT funcon. Press the PREHEAT dial. The display will show the word ‘PRE’. When preheang is complete, the display will briey show the words ‘ADD’ and ‘OFF’. Select the desired funcon and the corresponding indicator light will turn on. The display will show the default temperature, which can be adjusted by pressing the increase/decrease dials. Press the temperature/me dial for the default me to appear on the display, and then press the increase or decrease dial to adjust as desired. While the appliance is running, press the temperature/me dial to adjust me and temperature.

Press the ON/OFF dial to start operaon. The display will show the set me (for 7 seconds) and temperature (for 3 seconds) alternately. The viewing window allows you to check the frying/cooking progress. The window may steam up, which is normal, and the steam will disappear. Alternavely, you can check the process by pulling the frying basket drawer by the handle. Tips - Pull the frying basket drawer to shake foods, if necessary; me countdown will pause. Slide the frying basket drawer by the handle back inside the frier and me countdown will resume. Pulling the frying basket drawer while frying/cooking will pause the funcon. Press the ON/OFF buon to interrupt operaon. When the program ends, the appliance will beep and go into standby mode. STORING Let the appliance cool down completely before storing it. Make sure that all parts are clean and dry. Store the fryer in a dry place. Do not place heavy items on top of the fryer as this can damage it.
ANOMALIES AND REPAIR
In case of malfuncon, please take the appliance to an authorized Technical Assistance Service. Do not aempt to disassemble or repair the appliance, as this may be dangerous.
PROTECTING THE ENVIRONMENT
This symbol indicates the separate collecon of electrical and electronic equipment. The main objecve of the separate collecon of this waste is to reduce the quanty to be disposed of, promote re- use, recycling and other forms of recovery in order to reduce its negave eects on the environment. When it is no longer in use, this appliance must not be disposed of together with other unsorted municipal waste. The user is responsible for delivering it free of charge to the selecve collecon facilies available for that purpose. Pieces of equipment that are no longer in use can also be taken back at points of sale, by purchasing new pieces of equipment that are equivalent and have the same funcons. 1. Keep the proof of purchase (receipt) for this
product carefully. When a repair is made under these condions, the technician will require proof of purchase. This assistance can only be provided once you have proven, with the proof of purchase, that your appliance is within the warranty period.
2. The warranty period for this appliance is dened
by the respecve EU Direcve in force on the date of purchase/delivery.
3. Within the guarantee period, we will repair or
replace, free of charge, any parts which, during the normal use of the appliance, have deteriorated as a result of a proven material or manufacturing defect.
4. This warranty does not cover consumable items,
light bulbs, easily breakable parts made of glass or plasc, or any other defects that do not impair its proper funconing.
5. We accept no liability for damage caused by
incorrect or careless use of the appliance, by its connecon to an electrical current other than that indicated on the appliance’s rang plate, by faulty electrical installaon, or by atmospheric, chemical or electrochemical causes. Other claims or demands for compensaon relang to objects which are not an integral part of the appliance will be denied.
6. The provision of assistance under warranty does not
extend the warranty period. Only within this period will assistance be provided under warranty. The right to assistance is only granted to the rst purchaser of the device and cannot be transferred to a third party.
7. The warranty expires when unauthorized persons
have aempted to repair, modify or replace parts of the appliance.
8. All expenses and risks of transportaon to our
factory or vice versa will always be borne by the buyer.
