IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Please read this manual before you use the product for the first time to get familiar with its functions and use them as designed.

Before you start using the device, read the manual and follow its guidelines. The manufacturer shall not be held responsible for damage arising from the use at variance with its intended use or inappropriate operation. The manual must be kept for future reference.

The device is intended for home use only. Do not use for other purposes being at variance with its intended use.

The device must be connected to the socket with earthing, as specified in the rating plate.

Check if the total consumption of power of all devices connected to the wall outlet does not exceed the maximum safety device load.

If an extension cable is used, it is necessary to check if the total consumption of power by the equipment connected to the extension cable does not exceed the extension cable load parameters. The extension cable must be positioned in a way that prevents accidental pulls and stumbling.

Make sure the extension cable is earthed, 3-conductor with socket and earthing pin.

Prevent a situation in which the feeder cable hangs above the edge of the table or shelf, or comes into contact with hot surfaces.

The device is not intended for controlling by means of the external time-lag switch, separate remote control or other equipment able to activate the device automatically.

Before any maintenance works, always disconnect the power supply.

When you disconnect the feeder cable, always grab a plug. Never pull a cable because you may damage the plug or cable, in extreme cases it may lead to electric shock and death.

Do not leave the connected device unattended.

Do not immerse the device in water or other liquid.

The device must be cleaned on a regular basis in accordance with guidelines specified in the section dedicated to cleaning and maintenance.

Do not place the device close to sources of heat, flames, electric heating elements or on hot cooker. Do not place on any other device.

This device can be used by children aged at least 8 and by disabled persons (physically or mentally), as well as persons who lack experience in using the device provided that these persons have been supervised or given guidelines on proper and safe use and potential hazards. Children should not play with the equipment. Unattended children should not clean and maintain the equipment.

Be careful when using the device if there are children or pets nearby. Make sure children do not play with the device. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.

Do not use the device close to inflammable materials.

Do not expose the device to unfavorable weather (rain, sun, etc.), and do not use in humid places (bathrooms, humid summer houses).

Check condition of the feeder cable on a periodical basis. If the feeder cable is damaged, it should be replaced by the manufacturer, authorized service technicians or competent person in order to avoid hazards.

Do not use the device if its feeder cable is damaged, plug is damaged or if the device has been dropped or otherwise damaged or works improperly. Do not repair the device on your own as you may be electrocuted. Damaged device must be handed to the relevant service point for checkup and repairs. Any repairs must be performed by authorized service points only. Improper repair may lead to serious hazard to the user.

Use original accessories or accessories recommended by the manufacturer.

Using accessories which have not been recommended by the manufacturer may lead to device damage and affect safety. The device must be positioned on an even surface, resistant to temperature, far away from inflammable materials (drapes, curtains, wallpapers, etc.). In order to assure a suitable airflow, it is necessary to keep at least 10 cm of free space on each side of the device and at least 30 cm above the device. Do not cover ventilating holes of the device because it may lead to overheating and damage.

Do not touch hot surfaces of the device. Use protective gloves for the purposes of taking out and touching hot elements.

Do not put in any pieces which take too much space in the heating chamber because it may lead to fire and damage to the device.

Do not place cardboard or paper goods, plastics and other inflammable or fusible items in the device.

Clean the device after every use.

To clean the casing, do not use aggressive detergents, such as emulsions, milk, polishes, etc. because they may remove graphic symbols, such as scales, marking, warning signs, etc.

Do not use metal wires or other metal cleaning agents. Broken parts of wires may contact electric parts and lead to electric shock risk.

Due to high temperature, it is necessary to be careful when removing ready meals, removing hot fat and other hot liquids of accessories and components of the device.

Do not use metal cutlery or other sharp kitchen accessories as they may
scratch Teflon layer in the basket and reservoir.
- Do not fill deep fryer with oil or other fat. Knapper uses hot air for frying.
- Do not switch the device on when the reservoir is filled with water or other liquid.

FIRST USE
Remove all cardboard elements and films from the device.
Activate the device for 10 minutes and set 200 C to remove default preservatives and odor. The device may generate a bit of smoke, it is natural.
HOW TO USE
- Hold a handle (12) and pull the reservoir (9) with a basket (13) from the body (10) and place on a stable surface. NOTE: when doing so, do NOT press bin disconnect button (11).
- Place products in the basket (13) and put it in the body (10). When filling the basket, do not exceed MAX level in the scale inside.
- Place the reservoir with the basket in the device.
- Provide power supply to the deep fryer. Press "On/Off" to switch the device on.
- Every time you press (4), you increase temperature. When you press (5), you decrease temperature.
- Once selected temperature reached, heating indicator (14) stop lighting.
- To set cooking time, use timer control buttons (+ to extend and - to shorten time). Press the button once to add or reduce 1 minute.
- When timer counts down to 0, the cooking process will be finished. You can also finish cooking earlier – to do so, click OFF button.
- When the reservoir with the basket is ejected during operation, it stops working. To resume cooking, insert the reservoir with the basket to the deep fryer and press ON.
WARNING: The reservoir with basket are very hot. Place it on heat-resistant surfaces.
TIP: It is advisable to mix elements in the basket every 7-10 minutes.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Before you start cleaning, make sure the device has been disconnected from the source of power and cooled down.
- To clean the device, use a wet cloth. Do not use solvents and other sharp materials.
- The reservoir (9) and basket (13) must be washed in warm water with a dishwashing liquid shortly after the use.
- The basket (13) can be removed from the reservoir (9) by pressing (11).
- The basket (13) and reservoir (9) are dishwasher safe.
