Thank you for buying your new Remington® product. Please read these instructions carefully and keep them safe. Remove all packaging before use.
WARNING: This appliance is hot. Keep out of reach of children at all times.
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been supervised/instructed and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and cable out of reach of children under 8 years.
Do not use this appliance near bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels containing water.
- When the appliance is used in a bathroom, unplug it after use since the proximity of water presents a hazard even when the appliance is switched off.
- For additional protection, the installation of a residual current device (RCD) having a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA is advisable in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom*.
- Currently, the fitting in a bathroom of an electrical socket suitable or capable of operating the appliance is not permitted in the UK (see BS7671).
- If the supply cord of this unit becomes damaged, discontinue use immediately and return the appliance to your nearest authorised Remington® service dealer for repair or replacement in order to avoid a hazard.
- This appliance must not be connected to a switching device like a timer, or connected to a mains supply that may become interrupted by the electricity provider. This prevents a hazard which may occur if the thermal cut-out becomes activated for any reason, and is then reset by disconnection of the supply causing the appliance to reheat once the supply is restored. - Keep the power plug and cord away from heated surfaces.
- Do not use attachments other than those we supply.
- Do not use the appliance if it is damaged or malfunctions.

To fit/remove attachments Fit the attachment before you turn on the appliance. CAUTION: Attachments can become hot during use, let them cool before removing.
1. To fit an attachment, slide it into place onto the power handle until it clicks.
2. To remove, slide the accessory release button (
) backwards and remove the accessory. Prepare the hair for styling
- Wash and condition the hair as normal.
- Squeeze out excess moisture with a towel and comb through.
- Using the pre-styling nozzle rough dry the length and roots until 80% dry.
- Divide the hair into sections, style the lower layers first.
1. Plug your air styler into the mains power supply.
- StyleAdapt™ mode can only be selected if either of the two brushes are fitted. It is disabled if the root boost attachment is fitted.

3. During styling, the StyleAdapt™ indicator will spin (fig. C) indicating that your air styler
is learning about your hair and adjusting the air temperature to a heat that is personalised to you. The temperature changes are not shown on the display but happen quickly and automatically during styling. Manual Mode
1. To override the StyleAdapt™ mode and use as a standard air styler, press the
- Note that in manual mode, your air styler will no longer be learning about your hair and adapting the heat.
2. Select the desired heat and speed setting using the speed selector (F) button. The air

button until the StyleAdapt™ indicator is illuminated. Your air styler will now be learning about your hair and adapting the heat again. Create volume using the oval brush
- To dry your roots and add volume, place the brush underneath the section close to the roots and hold for a few seconds, lifting the hair as you dry.
- Move the styler downward through the hair section.
- Repeat this around the head.
- Let the hair cool before further styling. Create shaped ends using the 50mm brush
- To curl the ends in, place the brush underneath the section close to the ends and rotate the styler inwards allowing the hair to wrap around the barrel and hold for a few seconds.
- To curl the ends out, place the brush on top of the section close to the ends and rotate the styler outwards allowing the hair to wrap around the barrel and hold for a few seconds. ENGLISH
- Repeat this around the head.
- Let the hair cool before further styling. Root volume using the root boost attachment
- Push the root boost slowly into your roots towards the centre of your head.
- Allow the hair to push against the root boost and hold the root boost there for up to 10 seconds.
- Repeat until you have voluminous hair. Cool shot
- To set your style, press the cool shot button whilst styling then release it to reactivate the heat. Memory Function
- Each time you use your styler it will automatically set itself to the last setting used.
STORAGE, CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- After use, turn off the appliance by pressing the on/off button.
- Unplug the appliance and allow to cool before cleaning and storing away.
- Wipe all surfaces with a damp cloth
- Don’t use harsh or abrasive cleaning agents or solvents,
- To maintain peak product performance and to prolong motor life, it is important to regularly remove any dust and dirt from the inlet grille and clean with a soft brush. OVERHEATING PROTECTION In the event of overheating, your airstyler may stop unexpectedly. Overheating is usually caused by a blocked inlet grille. Unplug your airstyler then check and clean the inlet grille if required. Allow your airstyler to cool down before plugging it back in and using. RECYCLING
