WARNING:
• This appliance is not intended for use in hospitals.
- This appliance must not be used by persons insensitive to heat and other very vulnerable persons who are unable to react to overheating.
• Children under the age of three are not allowed to use this appliance due to their inability to react to overheating.

WARNING:
- The appliance can be used by children older than 3 years and younger than 8 years under supervision and with the control always set to minimum temperature value.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
• Children shall not play with the appliance. - Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
- Do not use the product wet or in rooms with high humidity such as bathrooms etc.
- The cable and control unit of the appliance can give rise to risks of entanglement, strangulation, tripping or treading if not correctly arranged. The user shall make sure that excess ties and electric cords shall be arranged in a safe way.
- In the case of continuous use, the step switch may only be set to levels “1” to “4”.
- If there is a possibility that the user will fall asleep using the appliance, the step switch may only be set to levels “1” to “4”.
- When the appliance is not being used, it must be stored as described in the chapter "Storage".
- Do not crease the appliance by placing items on top of it during storage.

WARNING:
- The product is to be checked regularly for signs of wear or damage. If the product has these signs or if the appliance is used incorrectly, it must be taken to the dealer or service centre before being used again.
- Do not use a damaged appliance and disconnect it from the power supply immediately.
- If the appliance is not working because a fuse in it has been triggered, send the product to our service centre.
- Do not repair the appliance by yourself. Always contact an authorized technician. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
General Notes
- The appliance is designed exclusively for private use and for the envisaged purpose. This appliance is not fit for commercial use.
- Do not use it outdoors. Keep it away from sources of heat, direct sunlight, humidity (never dip it into any liquid) and sharp edges. Do not use the appliance with wet hands. If the appliance is humid or wet, unplug it immediately.
- When cleaning or putting it away, switch off the appliance and always pull out the plug from the socket (pull the plug itself, not the lead) if the appliance is not being used and remove the attached accessories.
- Do not operate the appliance without supervision. If you leave the room you should always turn the appliance off. Remove the plug from the socket.
- The appliance and the mains lead have to be checked regularly for signs of damage. If damage is found the appliance must not be used.
- Use only original spare parts.
- In order to ensure your children's safety, please keep all packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene etc.) out of their reach.

Do not allow small children to play with the plastic foil.
There is a danger of suffocation!
Notes for Use
Operation
The product can be used on the entire body or certain regions of the body.

CAUTION:
Do not cover the step switch. This can lead to malfunctions.
Electrical Connection
- Ensure that the appliance voltage (see rating label) and the mains voltage are the same.
- Attach the electricity supply to the connector.
- Insert the plug into a properly installed socket. The LED display will show “.” (red dot). The dot on the display will show the operational readiness.

NOTE:
If the display shows E the plug was not connected correctly. Check the plug connection from the electricity supply.
Switching On
- Press the ON/OFF button to switch on the appliance. The LED display will show - . The red line will flash for 10 seconds. Press any button except the ON/OFF button within 10 seconds to switch on the appliance.
- When the heated overblanket is switched on, the heat level is set at 4 for three hours as a standard, then the appliance automatically switches itself off.
i NOTE:
Unusual smells may occur during the first use. These are harmless and disappear the more the appliance is used.
Step Switch
- With the TIMER button you can to set the duration from 1 to 9 hours. The selected duration will flash five times on the LED display. The system then confirms your selection and the heated overblanket switches itself off after the selected number of hours.
i NOTE:
The heated overblanket will switch itself off after the duration set. This saves energy and provides additional safety as the heated overblanket should never be used without supervision.
- Alternatively, you can press the TEMP button to select the desired temperature. You can choose between levels 1 to 9 and H
You can choose the following settings:

Switching Off
- Press the ON/OFF button to switch off the appliance.
- Only then pull the plug out of the wall socket.
Cleaning
WARNING:
- Pull the plug out of the socket before each time you clean the appliance.
- Only clean the appliance when it is cool. Risk of burns!
- Do not submerge the heated overblanket with the step switch in water! This could lead to an electric shock or a fire.
CAUTION:
- Do not use any strong cleaning agents or solvents.
- Please note the care instructions on the labels!
Overblanket
- Remove the plug from the electricity supply.
- You can wash the overblanket without the switch in the washing machine on a delicate programme at 40 °C . Use a mild detergent and follow the instructions of the manufacturer on amount of detergent.

CAUTION:
- Please note that the overblanket may not be chemically cleaned, wrung out, dried in a tumble dryer or ironed.

Please note that high stress is placed on the overblanket by frequent washing. The overblanket should be washed in a washing machine a maximum of five times during its service life. We therefore recommend that you wash the appliance exclusively by hand.

Immediately after washing, pull the overblanket into its original shape and leave it to dry lying flat over a washing stand.

CAUTION:
Do not use any clothes pegs or similar to attach the overblanket to the washing stand. This may damage the overblanket.
- Let the overblanket dry completely before you use it again.

CAUTION:
- Only reconnect the plug to the heated overblanket when the plug connection and the overblanket are both completely dry. Otherwise this may damage the heated overblanket.
- Never switch the heated overblanket on to dry it. This may cause an electric shock.
Step Switch
- First remove the plug from the electricity supply.
- Only clean the step switch with a dry cloth.
Storage
- Pull the plug out of the socket.
- Let the appliance cool down completely before storing it away.

CAUTION:
- Store the product in a dry place.
- Avoid the appliance being sharply bent by items being placed on it during storage.
