Do not direct air at bystanders. B-AIR.COM 3Motor Specifications & Electrical Requirements This B-Air Vent VP-50 has a 2-speed, 115-volt, 60 Hz induction motor with a grounding conductor. Thermally protected, it will automatically shut down if overheated. The motor will re- start automatically once cooled, for as long as it is plugged into a power source.In the event of a malfunction or breakdown, grounding provides a path of least resistance for electric current to reduce the risk of electric shock. This air mover is equipped with an electric cord having an equipment grounding conductor and a grounding plug. The plug must be plugged into a matching outlet that is properly installed and grounded in accordance with all local codes and ordinances.Do not modify the plug provided. If it will not fit the outlet, have the proper outlet installed by a qualified electrician. Grounding Instructions The VP-50H must be grounded. Should it malfunction or break down, grounding provides a path of least resistance for electric current and reduces the risk of electric shock. This appliance is equipped with a cord that has an equipment-grounding conductor and a grounding plug. The plug must be inserted into a properly installed and grounded outlet, in accordance with all local codes and ordinances. CORDS

WARNING! The Total amperage of the Vent VP-50H Air Mover plus all other devices plugged into the receptacle must not exceed 12 amps. WARNING! Improper connection of the equipment-grounding conductor can result in the risk of an electric shock. Check with a qualified electrician or service person if you are in doubt as to whether the outlet is properly grounded. Do not modify the plug provided with the appliance. If plug does not fit the outlet, have a proper outlet installed by a qualified electrician.NOTE: In Canada, the use of a temporary adapter is not permitted by the Canadian Electrical Code. Product Features The Vent VP-50 is perfect for use in commercial plumbing and janitorial projects. While the Vent VP-50 is lightweight, mobile and easy to transport, nothing is sacrificed in terms of air moving effectiveness. This is a unit that can be left on overnight for days until the job is completed and dry. Note: This unit cannot be left unattended for any amount of time. As the Vent VP-50 draws only 4.5 amps at its highest setting, it is among the most efficient air movers in the industry. If any of the parts are missing or damaged, please call 1-877-800-BAIR (2247) or email [e-mail]. Operating Instructions This B-Air Vent VP-50 requires NO ASSEMBLY. The VP-50 is packaged and ready to be put to work. The VP-50 is intended to be used for drying carpet spills, drying surfaces such as bathroom floors, ventilating as well as circulating air.

1. Place the unit on the surface that needs to be dried.

2. Plug the unit into a grounded outlet .

3. Select the desired speed and position (0º, 45º or 90º].

Maintenance Cleaning User Servicing Instructions

WARNING: As with all electrical equipment, the unit must be disconnected from

power before servicing or cleaning.

WARNING: To reduce the risk of injury from the air mover accidentally

starting, unplug power cord before cleaning. The outside of the unit may be cleaned with a damp cloth to remove any dust or residue.

WARNING: Be sure to disconnect power supply before attempting to service or

remove any components. Do not attempt to service your air mover beyond what is described in the user manual. For all other servicing, follow instructions in the Warranty section.

Servicing In order to receive service or replacement parts under warranty, you must: a. Call B-Air for an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization Number) b. Have your proof of purchase ready. Upon inspection, we will advise you of the repairs needed and the cost (if applicable). B-Air will issue repair or replacement parts depending on warranty. Limited Warranty Warranty covers against defects in material and craftsmanship under normal intended use to original purchaser for a term of two (2) years from original date of purchase including parts, labor and one-way shipping. Housing is covered for a term of five (5) years from date of original purchase. IMPORTANT! Warranty does not cover signs of misuse, including (but not limited to) rough handling, abuse, tampering, improper voltage use and unauthorized maintenance or repairs.
