Frequently Asked Questions - Vent VP20 B-Air

How to use the VP-20 to dry a carpet?
Place the unit on the carpet to dry, plug it into a grounded outlet, select the desired speed and position (horizontal for floors). Use high speed for quick drying.
Can I use the VP-20 in a bathroom?
Yes, but avoid any contact with standing water. Do not use it in a puddle of water to prevent electric shocks. Make sure the unit stays dry.
How to clean the blower?
Always unplug the unit before cleaning. Use a dry cloth to clean the exterior. Check and remove any dust or debris accumulation from the intake and exhaust grilles.
What to do if the motor does not start?
First check that the switch is in the ON position and that the electrical outlet works. If the problem persists, the cord or switch may be defective. Contact customer service.
Can I plug other devices into the built-in outlet?
Yes, the built-in outlet can support up to 9.5 A. However, the total amperage of all connected devices (including the VP-20) must not exceed 12 A to avoid overloads.
What is the warranty of the VP-20?
The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship for 2 years for parts and labor, and 5 years for the housing, from the date of purchase for the original buyer.
Is the VP-20 stackable?
Yes, it can be stacked up to 5 units high thanks to its balanced handle that also serves as a cord wrap, allowing stable and secure storage.
How to adjust the airflow angle?
The unit can be positioned horizontally (0°), tilted at 45° for walls, or vertical (90°) for ceilings and ventilation. Simply adjust the orientation manually.
What to do if I hear a scraping noise?
A scraping noise may indicate that the fan wheel is misaligned. Immediately turn off the unit and contact customer service for inspection and possible replacement.
Can I use an extension cord with the VP-20?
Yes, but use a UL and CE certified 3-prong extension cord with a ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI). Make sure the extension cord is not damaged and supports the required amperage.
