INSTRUCTIONS FOR SAFE USE
This appliance should only be used for domestic cleaning, as described in this user guide. Please ensure that this guide is fully understood before operating the appliance.
Do not leave the appliance plugged in. Always switch off and remove the plug from the socket after use, or before cleaning the appliance or any maintenance task.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
If the power cord is damaged stop using the appliance immediately. To avoid a safety hazard, an authorised HOOVER service engineer must replace the power cord.
Keep hands, feet, loose clothing and hair away from rotating brushes.
Use only attachments, consumables or spares recommended or supplied by HOOVER.
Static electricity: Some carpets can cause a small build up of static electricity. Any static discharge is not hazardous to health.
Do not use your appliance out of doors or on any wet surface or for wet pick up.

ASSEMBLING YOUR CLEANER
Remove all components from the packaging.
- Connect the hose to the cleaner main body, ensuring it clips and locks into position. [1]
- To release: simply press the button on the hose end and pull.
- Connect the hose handle to the upper extension tube end [2], or accessories if required.
- Connect the extension tube lower end to the carpet and floor nozzle [3] or accessories if required.
USING YOUR CLEANER
- Extract power cord and plug it into the power supply. Do not pull the cord beyond the red marker, [4]
- Adjust the telescopic tube to the desired height by moving the telescopic tube adjuster up and raise or lower the handle to the most comfortable cleaning position. [5]
- Carpet & Floor Nozzle** Press the floor type selector on the nozzle [6] to select the ideal cleaning mode for the floor type.
Hard Floor -Brushes are lowered to protect the floor.
Carpet - Brushes are raised for the deepest clean.
- Switch the cleaner on by pressing the on/off Pedal on the cleaner main body. [7]
- Adjust the suction regulator on the handle to the desired level.
- Switch off at the end of use by pressing the on/off Pedal. Unplug and press the cord reel pedal to wind the power cord back into the cleaner.
PARKING AND STORAGE SECTION
The tube and nozzle can be parked on back of the cleaner for storage or temporary storage while in use.
ACCESSIONS
To obtain the best performance and efficiency it is recommended that the correct nozzles are used for the main cleaning operations. These nozzles are indicated in the diagrams by the letters GP, HF or CA.
A nozzle type GP can be used to clean both carpet and hard floor.
A nozzle type HF is suitable for use only on hard floor.
A nozzle of type CA is suitable for use only on carpet.
The other nozzles are accessories for specialist cleaning tasks and are recommended for occasional use only.
All accessories can be fitted to the hose handle or the end of the tubes.
2 in 1 Tool combines several functions into one tool: Crevice Tool - For corners and hard to reach areas. Dusting Brush - For bookshelves, frames, keyboards and other delicate areas.
Pet Hair Remover Mini Turbo Nozzle* - Use the mini turbo nozzle on stairs or for deep cleaning on textile surfaces and other hard to clean areas. Particularly suitable for pet hairs removal.
Allergen Remover Mini Turbo Nozzle* - Use the mini turbo nozzle on stairs or for deep cleaning on textile surfaces and other hard to clean areas. Particularly suitable for allergen removal.
Parquet Nozzle* - For parquet floors and other delicate floors.
IMPORTANT: Do not use the Mini Turbo Nozzles on rugs with long fringes, animal hides and carpet pile deeper than 15mm. Do not keep the nozzle stationary while the brush is rotating.
CLEANER MAINTENANCE
Emptying the Dust Container
When the dust reaches the max level indicator on the container, empty the dust container.
IMPORTANT: To maintain optimum performance, do not allow the dust to exceed the max level. 1. Turn off the cleaner with the main switch and unplug the power cable. 2. Press the bin release button and remove the bin assembly from the cleaner. [8] 3. Hold the dust container with one hand, and remove the dust container lid by rotating anti-clockwise. [9] 4. Remove the pre-motor filter assembly from bin assembly. [10] 5. Remove the Vortex Finder from bin assembly. [11] 6. Empty the dust from the bin. [12] 7. Refit the vortex finder and pre-motor filter assembly to bin assembly. 8. Refit the dust container lid to bin assembly. 9. Close and refit to the cleaner main body.
Cleaning the Washable Filters
The cleaner is fitted with pre motor filter and exhaust filter. To maintain optimum cleaning performance, regularly remove the filters and tap against the side of the bin to release dust. The filters should be washed every 5 cassette empties or when the filter has excessive dust level.
IMPORTANT: All bagless cleaners require regular filter cleaning. Failure to clean your filters may result in air blockage, overheating and product failure. This may invalidate your guarantee.
IMPORTANT: Regularly check and maintain the filters. IMPORTANT: Always ensure the filter pack is fully dry before use.
To access the filter:
- Remove the dust container from the cleaner. [8]
- Hold the dust container with one hand, and remove the dust container lid by rotating anti-clockwise. [9]
- Remove the pre-motor filter assembly from bin assembly. [10]
- Gently tap and wash the pre-motor filter. Do not use hot water or detergents. Remove excess water from the filter and leave to dry fully before re-using. [13] [17]
- Reassemble the pre-motor filter assembly once fully dry and refit to the cleaner.
To access the exhaust filter:
- Unclip the exhaust filter cover from the rear of the cleaner main body. [14]
- Remove the exhaust filter from the rear of the cleaner. [15]
- Gently tap and wash the filter using warm water. Do not use hot water or detergents. Remove excess water from the filter and leave to dry fully before re-using. [16] [17]
- Refit the exhaust filter to the rear of the cleaner once fully dry and refit the exhaust filter cover.
IMPORTANT: Do not use the product without the filter pack fitted.
Cleaning the dust container / separation unit
This cleaner uses a separation system unique to Hoover. If necessary, the separation unit can be disassembled from the dust container and cleaned.
- Press the dust container release button and remove the bin assembly from the cleaner. [8]
- Hold the bin with one hand and with the other hand remove the dust container lid by rotating anti-clockwise. [9]
- Remove the dust container lid by rotating anti-clockwise. And remove the pre-motor filter from dust container assembly. [10] And then remove the vortex finder from the dust container by pulling. [11]
- If necessary, use a cloth to remove excessive dust from the vortex finder surface. Reassemble the internal components to the bin.
- Reassemble the dust container lid to the dust container. Refit the dustbin to the cleaner.
Removing a blockage
- Check if the Dust Container is full. If so, refer to 'Emptying The Dust Container'.
- If the Dust Container is empty, but suction is still low:
A. Do the filters need cleaning? If so, refer to 'Cleaning the Washable Filters'. B. Check if there is any other blockage in the system - Use a rod or a pole to remove any blockage from the tubes or hose.
C. Check for and clear any blockage in the Nozzle
D. Check if the separation unit needs to be cleaned. Refer to 'Cleaning the separation unit.'
WARNING - If the cleaner is used for a significant period of time with a blockage, a thermal cut out will switch the cleaner off to prevent overheating. If this should happen, switch the cleaner off, unplug and correct the fault. It will take about 45 minutes for the cut out to automatically reset.
USER CHECKLIST
Should you have a problem with the product, complete this simple user checklist before calling your local Hoover service.
- Is there a working electricity supply to the cleaner? Please check with another electrical appliance.
- Is the dust container over-filled? Please refer to 'Cleaner Maintenance'.

- Is the hose or nozzle blocked? Please refer to 'Removing a blockage from the system'.
- Has the cleaner overheated? If so, it will take approximately 30 minutes to automatically reset.

MAINTENANCE OF THE VACUUM CLEANER
Emptying the dust container
When the dust reaches the maximum level indicator on the container, the dust container must be emptied. IMPORTANT: To maintain optimal performance, do not let the dust amount exceed the maximum level. 1. Turn off the vacuum cleaner with the main switch and unplug the power cord. 2. Press the release button for the dust container and remove it from the cleaning appliance.[8] 3. Hold the dust container with one hand and remove the dust container lid by turning it counterclockwise.[9] 4. Take the pre-motor filter out of the dust container.[10] 5. Take the Vortex fins out of the dust container. [11] 6. Empty the dust from the container. [12] 7. Put the Vortex fins and pre-motor filter back into the dust container. 8. Put the dust container lid back on the dust container. 9. Close and put the main part of the cleaning appliance back in place.
Cleaning the washable filters
The vacuum cleaner is equipped with a pre-motor and an exhaust filter. To maintain optimal cleaning performance regularly, remove the filters and tap them gently against the side of a trash bin to release the dust. The filters should be washed every 5 times the container is emptied, or when the dust level is too high.

Additional accessories
To improve cleaning efficiency, it is recommended to use the nozzles correctly for the main cleaning operations. These nozzles are marked with letters on the diagram, see figure.
Nozzle type A can be used for both carpets and hard floors.
Nozzle type B is suitable for hard floors.
Nozzle type C is only for carpets.
Other nozzles are marked with letters and numbers and are recommended for use only in specific situations.
All accessories can be attached to the tube.
Nozzle 2 in 1 performs several functions simultaneously:
Upholstery nozzle - designed for cleaning hard-to-reach places.
Brush nozzle - designed for cleaning delicate surfaces, picture frames, computer keyboards, and other sensitive surfaces.
Mini turbo brush for pet hair - the mini turbo brush is designed for cleaning pet hair and other hard-to-reach surfaces. It is especially suitable for cleaning pet hair.
The pipe nozzle is designed for cleaning hard-to-reach surfaces and pipes. It is especially suitable for use on radiators.
The nozzle is for cleaning radiators and other hard-to-reach surfaces that require careful handling.
WARNING! Do not use the pipe nozzle on carpets with long pile, more than 15 mm, or on animal fur. It is forbidden to keep the nozzle in a stationary position while the vacuum cleaner is on.
MAINTENANCE OF THE VACUUM CLEANER
Emptying the dust container
When the dust in the container reaches the maximum level indicated by the indicator, the container should be emptied.
WARNING! Do not allow the dust to accumulate above the maximum level.
- Switch off the vacuum cleaner using the main switch and unplug it from the socket.
- Press the container release button and remove the container from the vacuum cleaner. [8] Empty the container over a waste bin, remove the lid by turning it.
- Remove the washable filter from the container. [10]
- Remove the foam filter from the container. [11]
- Remove the dust from the dust container. [12]
- Replace the foam filter and the washable filter.
- Replace the lid on the dust container.
- Close the lid. Return the container to the main body of the vacuum cleaner.
Filter cleaning error
The vacuum cleaner may switch off if the filter is clogged or the dust container is full. To maintain optimal performance, regularly clean the filters and empty the dust container. Filters must be cleaned at least every 5 times the container is emptied, or when the filter shows visible dirt.
WARNING! Filters for all bagless vacuum cleaner versions require regular cleaning. If the filters are not cleaned, this may lead to blockage of the air flow, overload and overheating of the vacuum cleaner. This may lead to invalidation of the warranty.
WARNING! Regularly check the filters and clean them.
WARNING! Make sure that the filters are completely dry before reuse.
To remove the filters:
- Remove the dust container from the vacuum cleaner. [8]
- Press the container release button, remove the lid by turning it counterclockwise. [9]
- Remove the pre-motor filter from the container. [10] 4. Carefully tap and brush the filter. Do not wash with hot water or cleaning agents. Dry the filter thoroughly and place it back before next use. [13][17] 5. After drying, insert the filter back into the container and install the container into the vacuum cleaner.
To remove the exhaust filter, perform the following steps:
- Open the filter clamp at the rear part of the main body of the vacuum cleaner. [14]
- Remove the filter from the vacuum cleaner. [15]
- Carefully shake out and brush the filter with warm water. Do not wash with hot water or cleaning agents. Dry the filter thoroughly and leave it to dry before next use. [16][17]
- Good vacuuming, return the filter to its place in the vacuum cleaner and install the cover.
WARNING! Using the vacuum cleaner without the filter installed is prohibited!
Vacuum cleaner fault / Separator fault
The vacuum cleaner may be used with a fine dust filter system. If necessary, clean the filter. 1. Press the dust container release button and remove it from the vacuum cleaner. [8] 2. Hold the handle with one hand, and with the other remove the cover by turning it counterclockwise. [9] 3. Remove the cover from the dust container by turning it counterclockwise. Pull the filter out of the container. [10] Then pull the separator out of the container by pulling it. [11] If necessary, use a cloth to remove dirt from the surface of the separator. Install the internal components of the dust container back in place. 5. Install the cover on the dust container. Install the vacuum cleaner housing.
Clearing blockages
- Make sure the dust container is full. If so, see section "Cleaning the dust container".
- If the dust container is empty but suction remains low,
A. Does the filter need cleaning? If so, see section "Cleaning the motor protection filter".
Only on specific models *Only for some models, the shape of the nozzle may vary depending on the model.
B. Check for other blockages in the vacuum cleaner. - Check the telescopic tube or hose for blockages. C. Turn the nozzle and remove any blockage.
D. Turn the nozzle and remove the separator. See section "Separator cleaning". WARNING: If the vacuum cleaner is used with a full dust container, the motor may overheat and shut off. In this case, disconnect the vacuum cleaner from the power supply and replace the dust container. The motor will cool down and return to normal operation after about 30 minutes.
USER QUESTIONNAIRE

Does the vacuum cleaner not turn on? Check the power supply with another electrical appliance. Is the dust container full? USING THE VACUUM CLEANER
The vacuum cleaner components are shown in the figure.
C. Insert the hose into the main body of the vacuum cleaner, making sure it is securely attached. 2. To release: simply press the button on the hose and pull it out. 3. Attach the hose to the handle with the upper end of the extension tube [2] or directly, if necessary. 4. Attach the nozzle to the end of the extension tube for carpets and hard floors [3a] or accessories, if necessary.
USING THE VACUUM CLEANER
1. Pull out the power cord and plug it into the socket. Do not pull the cord out completely. [4] 2. Adjust the telescopic tube to the desired height by moving the adjuster up or down, or by sliding the handle to the most comfortable position. [5] 3. Nozzle for carpets and hard floors*. Press the selector for the desired floor type [6] to select the appropriate setting for the floor type. For hard floors - lower the nozzle for hard floors. For carpets - raise the nozzle for deep cleaning. 4. Turn on the vacuum cleaner by pressing the On/Off button on the body [7]. 5. Adjust the suction power regulator to the desired level. 6. Turn off the vacuum cleaner when you are done by pressing the On/Off button. Unplug the power cord from the socket and press the cord rewind button to retract the cord back into the vacuum cleaner.

For the dust container, frame, and control panel, use a damp cloth to clean the area.
For the exhaust filter, clean it with a brush or wash it under running water. The filter can be washed with a mild detergent and a soft brush. Pay special attention to cleaning the exhaust filter.

CLEANING THE DUST CONTAINER
Emptying the dust container

- Press the button to release the dust container and

- Insert the filter into the filter holder until it clicks into place.
- Place the dust container onto the separation unit.
- Close and place the main body of the vacuum cleaner.
Placement of the appliance
The vacuum cleaner is equipped with a motor protection filter. Regular replacement ensures efficient operation.
Regularly clean the filter and the separation unit to release the dust. The filter should be cleaned at least every 5 uses or when the dust reaches the indicated level.
IMPORTANT: All vacuum cleaners without a bag require regular cleaning of the filter. Failure to clean the filter may lead to blockage of the air inlet, interruption of operation, and malfunction of the appliance. This may void the warranty.
IMPORTANT: Regularly check and service the filters.
IMPORTANT: Always make sure the filter is completely dry before use.
To achieve optimal filtration:
- Remove the separation unit from the vacuum cleaner. [8]
- Remove the separation unit with a twist and pull the filter out of the separation unit, turning it counterclockwise. [9]

To reach the exhaust filter:
- Remove the exhaust filter from the left side and from the main body of the vacuum cleaner. [14]

Placement of the compartment for dust / separating block
The vacuum cleaner uses a separating system, which is a Hoover innovation. The separating block can be removed from the dust compartment and cleaned.
- Press the button on the dust compartment and remove the insertion from the vacuum cleaner. [8]
- Remove the compartment with one hand and with the other hand remove the block from the dust compartment, turning it counterclockwise. [9]

All accessories can be fitted to the tube. The 2-in-1 accessory performs two functions: one is for cleaning corners and hard-to-reach places. The brush for removing pet hair is for cleaning upholstery, picture frames, computer keyboards, and other delicate surfaces. Cleaning the dust container
Remove the container from the machine at maximum pressure, as indicated by the indicator. The container must be cleaned. WARNING! Do not exceed the maximum productivity. Do not fill above the maximum level. 1. Turn the pump off using the main switch. 2. Press the container release button and remove the container from the pump. [8] 3. Turn the container upside down over a sink, remove the lid, and rinse it with clean water. [9] 4. Remove the filter that is to be washed from the container. [10] 5. Remove the suction hose from the container. [11] 6. Pour out the contents of the bag. [12] 7. Install the suction hose and the filter that is to be washed. 8. Put the lid back on the container and turn it upright.
9. Close the lid and return the container to the pump housing.
Cleaning the filter
To ensure the pump operates at maximum productivity, regularly remove and clean the filter. The filter is located in the container. If the filter is clogged, the pump may overheat.
WARNING! The filter must be cleaned regularly to prevent clogging, which can reduce the pump's performance and cause damage.

To remove the outlet filter, perform the following steps:
