Protective earthing symbol (for protection class I)
Electrical appliances in protection class I are electrical appliances that have at least basic insulation throughout and have either a plug with earth contact or a fixed power cable with protective earth. Electrical appliances in protection class I can have parts with double or reinforced insulation, or parts which are operated with safety extra-low voltage.
2. Application/proper use
This appliance must only be used for drying laundry.
- Only dry laundry that is explicitly suitable for tumble drying and is labelled accordingly.
This appliance is designed for use in private households and similar household applications, such as
- in kitchens for staff in retail outlets, offices and other commercial areas
-on agricultural estates - by customers in hotels, motels and other accommodation facilities
-in bed & breakfast accommodation
The appliance is not intended for commercial or industrial use.
The appliance must not be operated in non-stationary locations (e.g. on ferries, ships, trains, etc.).
Please note that we shall not be liable in cases of improper use:

Do not modify the appliance without our consent and do not use any auxiliary equipment that we have not approved or supplied.
Only use replacement parts or accessories that we have supplied or approved. -
Comply with all the information in this user manual, especially the safety instructions. Any other use is considered improper and can cause personal injury or property damage.
3. Safety instructions

This appliance can be used by children over the age of 8 and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or by those without experience and/or knowledge, if they are supervised or have been instructed in the safe use of the appliance and have understood the dangers that result from it.
Children under 8 years of age must be kept away from the appliance and mains cable.
Children under 3 years of age must be kept away from the appliance unless they are constantly supervised.
Never allow children to play with the tumble dryer.
- Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by children unless they are supervised.
- Close the door after every drying cycle to prevent children from climbing in or placing objects inside.

Supervise children and small animals in the vicinity of the tumble dryer at all times.
There is a risk of choking and suffocation due to swallowing or inhaling small parts or plastic wrap.
- Keep the plastic packaging out of the reach of children.

Risk of electric shock!
There is a risk of electric shock due to live parts.
Only connect the appliance to a properly installed, earthed and fused socket. The mains voltage must match the technical specifications for the appliance.
The power socket must be easily accessible so that you can unplug the appliance from the mains quickly if necessary.
Check the appliance and the mains cable for damage before using the appliance for the first time, and after each use.

Do not use the appliance if you notice that it, or its mains cable, is damaged.
-
Contact the Service Centre without delay if the appliance has been damaged during transport.

Do not, under any circumstances, make any unauthorised modifications to the appliance or try to open a component and/or repair it yourself.
To avoid risks, the mains cable should only be repaired by an authorised repair workshop. Alternatively, contact our Service Centre.
Never open the housing or slide objects into the ventilation slots.
Unplug the appliance from the socket if: - you are cleaning the appliance,
- the appliance is damp or wet
- the appliance is unattended
- you are no longer using the appliance.
Always hold the plug to pull it out, and never pull the cable.

Never expose the appliance to water drops or water spray.

Air circulation under the appliance must be ensured. Therefore, do not stand the appliance on deep pile carpets or block the air supply with skirting boards or other objects.
- Do not install a lockable door, a sliding door or a door which is hinged in the opposite direction to the dryer door to ensure that the dryer door can be fully opened.

WARNING! Do not close the ventilation openings on the appliance housing or built-in components.
WARNING! Do not interrupt drying programmes without a cooling phase. There is risk of the laundry self-igniting. If the drying programme needs to be interrupted, remove the laundry immediately and spread it out so that it can cool down.
WARNING! Do not operate this appliance with an external timer or a separate remote control system, such as a remote control mains socket.
Do not tumble dry
- items which have not been washed,
- items which are still soiled with grease, oil or other deposits (e.g. from cooking oil, oil, grease or cream), these must be washed in hot water with extra detergent before drying in the appliance,
- items which have been splashed with hair lacquer, hair spray, nail varnish remover or similar substances,
- items that have been soiled with flammable cleaning agents or residues such as acetone, alcohol, petrol, paraffin, stain removers, turpentine, waxes, wax removers or other chemicals (e.g. cleaning cloths), these must be washed in hot water with extra detergent before drying in the appliance,
- items which have been cleaned using chemicals,
- items made of rubber or rubber-like materials (e.g. latex foam rubber, shower caps, waterproof textiles, rubberised articles and items of clothing (e.g. with shoulder pads, pillows with foam rubber filling),
-
items which contain fillings that could fall out.
-
When using fabric softeners, follow the manufacturer's instructions and check whether the fabrics are suitable for tumble drying.
Never use the tumble dryer without the lint filter inserted.
Clean the lint filter before or after every drying cycle.

Make sure that no fibres, dust or other dirt accumulate at the exhaust air outlet or near the appliance.

Risk of injury!
The appliance contains the refrigerant propane. If the refrigerant escapes, there is a risk of injuries.
WARNING! Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.
If the refrigeration system has nevertheless become damaged, ventilate the room. Avoid naked flames and ignition sources. Have the appliance repaired by a qualified technician before using it again.
- Set up the appliance in a dry and ventilated room. The room should be at least 4m^2 to ensure that sufficient air volume is available if the refrigeration system becomes damaged.
There is a risk of fire or poisoning if disposed of incorrectly. Dis- pose of the appliance properly.

The appliance is heavy. There is a risk of injury from the strain of lifting the appliance.
- Seek the assistance of at least one other person in order to move the appliance.

Do not reach into the appliance while the drum is turning.
- Do not lean on the appliance door when it is open. The appliance can tip over.

Using the appliance in a way that was not intended may damage it.
Do not kink or crush the mains cable.
- Appliances connected to the mains during a thunderstorm may be damaged by power surges. You should therefore always unplug the plug during thunderstorms.
Remove all items from clothing (e.g. coins, metal parts, needles) before drying. Do not put bras with metal underwires in the tumble dryer, as the appliance can be damaged by loosened underwires.

Do not overload the appliance. The maximum load is 8kg (dry weight).
-
Do not install the tumble dryer in a room where there is a risk of frost. At temperatures around freezing point, the tumble dryer may not be able to operate properly.
There is a risk of damage if the condensation water freezes in the pump, the hoses and/or the condensation tank.

8. Setting up the tumble dryer
- Remove the packaging material and all protective film as well as the transport locks (plastic and foam parts) completely before using the appliance for the first time.
Install the tumble dryer in a dry, ventilated and dust-free room.
The surfaces of the appliance can heat up to 60^ during operation.

Place the dryer on a stable and level surface that is not sensitive to heat. Keep the ventilation grill (4) on the dryer free of obstruction to ensure air circulation.
- Maintain a distance of approx. 1 cm to other furniture.
Do not allow the rear panel of the appliance to come into contact with household installations such as water connections or power sockets.
Position the appliance with the rear panel facing a wall.
Do not move the tumble dryer after installation and connection.

Turn the feet in or out to level the appliance and compensate for uneven floors. Check the appliance is level using a spirit level.

Never remove the adjustable feet.

The appliance should not move up and down when pressure is applied to the top of the appliance. If it does, adjust the appliance until it is stable.

Do not operate the appliance immediately after transport. The oil for the integrated heat pump must settle for approx. 2 hours.
8.1. Washer-dryer combination

WARNING!
Risk of injury!
The appliance may fall and injure people.
- Never stack a washing machine on top of the dryer, instead stack the dryer on top of the washing machine.
- Never stack the dryer on top of a washing machine without a stacking kit (available from retailers, follow the manufacturer's instructions). The stacking kit must be installed by an authorised service technician.
Only stack the dryer on front-loading washing machines with a width of 60~cm .
If the dryer is stacked on top of a washing machine, the total weight of the two products with load can reach almost 150kg . Stack the appliances on a stable floor that has sufficient load-bearing capacity.

8.2. Installation under a worktop

NOTICE!
Possible material damage!
Insufficient air circulation can lead to heat accumulation.
To ensure adequate ventilation, a minimum clearance of 3cm to the top, to the sides and 7.5cm to the back must be observed.
- Installation/removal when installed under a worktop must be carried out by a qualified service technician.
8.3. Connecting the tumble dryer to the power supply
- Only connect the appliance to a properly installed, earthed and sufficiently fused socket that is easily accessible. The mains voltage must match the technical specifications for the appliance.

Operating your dryer at low voltage levels will shorten the service life of the appliance and affect performance.
8.4. Attaching the stickers

Upon delivery, the printing on the programme selector is in German. Stickers are supplied in your national language. Place one sticker over the programme selector and the second sticker under the operating buttons.

Do not interrupt drying programmes without a cooling phase. There is risk of the laundry self-igniting. If the drying programme needs to be interrupted, remove the laundry immediately and spread it out so that it can cool down.

Sort the laundry beforehand (see chapter 13. Notes on drying laundry in the operating instructions).

For heavy terry fabrics, load the appliance with a maximum of 6kg
Pull the handle to open the door.
- Load the laundry in an evenly distributed manner.
Close the door.

- Turn the programme selector (17) from the OFF position to the desired programme position to switch on the appliance.
The duration for the selected programme lights up in the display. The symbol flashes in the display.
9.1. Drum lighting
The drum is equipped with LED lighting. The lighting is switched on automatically when the door is opened. The lighting goes out automatically after a certain time.
9.2. Selecting a programme
Select a suitable drying programme by turning the programme selector (17) (see table in section "11. Programme selector" on page 52).

Changing programmes during operation is only possible if the appliance is switched off and on again.

Additional functions are not selectable in all programmes.
To perform additional functions, press the
- TIME DRYING button (15) to set a drying time and refresh time.
- DRYING LEVEL button (14) to set the drying level 0, 1, 2 or 3. L0, L1, L2 or L3 is displayed.
- DELAY START button (13) to set a start delay (see "9.4. Setting a delay start" on page 49). The symbol lights up.
- DELICATE button (12) to dry laundry gently. The symbol lights up.

Additional functions are not available in all programmes. For example, it is not possible to select the drying level in programmes for drying delicate laundry so as not to damage the laundry.
Then press the START/PAUSE button (11) to start the programme with the additional function.
9.3. Starting and interrupting a programme
After selecting a programme suitable for the laundry, press the START/PAUSE button (11) to start the programme. The symbol lights up permanently in the display.
To interrupt the programme, press the START/PAUSE button (11) or open the door
To continue the programme, press the START/PAUSE button (11) again.
9.4. Setting a delay start
This function is used to start the drying cycle with a time delay. A delay start from 1 to 24 hours for the drying start can be selected. Proceed as follows:
Select the programme suitable for the laundry and, if necessary, a programme option.
Press the DELAY START button (13) several times until the desired start delay is set. Press and hold the DELAY START button (13) to speed up the setting of the start delay.
The symbol lights up.
Press START/PAUSE (11) to start the drying cycle after the set time. The clock symbol flashes in the display.
- Set the programme selector (17) to position to switch off the delay function and the appliance.
9.5. End of programme
All programmes end with a cooling phase. The end of the programme is indicated by the operating lights and lighting.
Set the programme selector (17) to position to switch off the appliance.

Remove the laundry.
If the laundry is not removed immediately after the end of the programme and the appliance is not switched off, the appliance performs an anti-crease cycle after some time.
After every programme run, clean the drum lint filter (9) and empty the condensation water tank (10) (see chapter 14. Maintaining and cleaning the dryer" in the operating instructions).
9.6. Switching acoustic signals on/off
Acoustic signals are emitted when the programme ends.
Press and hold the DELICATE/ button (12) for approximately 3 seconds to switch on the acoustic signals. An acoustic signal will sound.
Press and hold the DELICATE/ button (12) again for approximately 3 seconds to switch off the acoustic signals. Two acoustic signals will sound.
The signals can be switched on or off at any time.
9.7. Switching the button lock on/off
Press and hold the DELICATE/ button (12) and DELAY START button (13) simultaneously for approximately 3 seconds to switch on the child lock. The button combination is marked with the symbol.
The button lock is activated, CL lights up for 2 seconds on the display and a warning tone sounds.

The button lock remains active during the entire operating cycle and also at the end of the selected dryer programme.
To deactivate the button lock, turn the programme selector (17) to the position. Select the Cotton extra dry programme, the button lock is still active.
Press and hold the DELICATE/ button (12) and DELAY START button (13) simultaneously for approximately 3 seconds to unlock the buttons.
The button lock is deactivated, CL lights up for 2 seconds on the display and a warning tone sounds.

If the button lock is active, an acoustic warning sounds when the programme selector is turned and CL appears on the display for 2 seconds.
Even if you set the programme selector to another programme, the previous programme will continue to run. To select a new programme, you must deactivate the button lock as previously described.
