INTRODUCTION This appliance delivers doses of coee with timed mode or based on the weight detected, in accord- ance with the purchased version. Set up the appliance before oper- ating:
- Plug the appliance to the electrical main.
- Bring the switch (8) to ON po- sition.
- Set the degree of grinding.
- Set the weight or grinding time for each dose key. When switching the appliance ON for the first time, it is configured in the default mode and anyway, in the following uses, it will maintain the last mode previous to switch OFF. You can write any notes with chalks on the rear blackboard (3). The whiteboard can be cleaned with a damp cloth.
- Open the cover (1) and fill it with coee beans.
- Pull the tab inside the con- tainer to allow the passage of coee.31MYTHOS 2
Timed version Place the filter-holder bowl on the fork (7) and push it forwards until it comes into contact with the button (5) to pour out the ground coee through the spout (9). Gravimetric version Hook and release the filter hold- er, the machine will carry out the tare and will begin to deliver cof- fee up to the set weight. Place the grinder on a perfectly stable surface with the greatest possible absence of vibrations. The presence of vibrations can slow down the tare process. The machine is equipped with filter holder retaining device. This device is suitable for Stand- ard Victoria Arduino filter hold- ers, but it can be adjusted ac- cording to the available filter holder. ATTENTION KTo avoid blockages of the nozzle (9), hold the fil- ter-holder cup on the fork (7) or in the sealing device.33MYTHOS 2
GRINDING SETTING Use the knob (4), turning it clockwise for finer grinding or anti-clockwise for a coarser grinding. ATTENTION Grinding setting must be performed gradually, grinding a little coee each time that the knob is turned by two digits (notches). The machine may seize up if the knob is moved by one turn while the motor is switched o.35MYTHOS 2
ADJUSTMENT If the size of the filter holder should be larger than the set one, the fork can be adjusted. Using a crosshead screwdriver, loosen the fastening screw of the filter holder fork (7). It is rec- ommended not to unscrew the screw completely. Raise or lower the fork in order to adjust it according to filter holder dimensions. Once having reached the correct position, make sure that is prop- erly levelled and tighten the fork fastening screw (7).
The setting has no stop points and each turn of the knob corre- sponds to a movement of 0.4 mm of the burrs. The machines equipped with re- settable knob can be set to zero at a preset grinding point by holding the top part of the knob in posi- tion and using the ring nut on the base.
DOSE DISPENSING Press one dose key (A) or the touch screen display (this lights up) and activate the button (5) by inserting the filter holder into the fork (6) to start dispensing ground coee. In the gravimetric version, select the dose button and attach the filter holder.37MYTHOS 2

RAMP START Gravimetric version Number of grams before the end of the set grinding, which corre- sponds to the beginning of the engine deceleration to improve the accuracy of the dose. Practical example:
- Improved accuracy = 5 grams A B
- During dispensing when 20 - 5 grams are reached, the decel- eration phase will begin to reach a higher final accuracy. The number of grams must be ad- justed proportionally to the mo- tor speed (1200 rpm=5 g). 1 Cancel 2 Confirm A Increases B Decreases
WEIGHT COMPENSATION Gravimetric version For each “my coee” you can set the weight compensation to align the accuracy of the grind- er to that of an external scale. The parameter depends on the speed and the type of coee.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
ATTENTION Unplug the appliance before performing any clean- ing and maintenance opera- tion. ATTENTION Do not pull the power cable or the appliance itself to disconnect the plug from the power supply socket.
CLEANING ATTENTION Before removing the container (2) always remember to close the tab, otherwise it will not come away. At least once a week it is neces- sary to remove the coee bean container (2), which simply rests on the machine body. This is to remove the oily layer le by the coee beans using a clean cloth. If this operation is not per- formed, there is a risk that the grease will become rancid, with negative eects on the flavour of next cups of coee. For the cleaning of the base and of the rear blackboard (3) use a damp cloth.85MYTHOS 2
ATTENTION To clean the spout (9) from any coee blockage, use a vacuum cleaner and a small brush, taking great care not to fold or bend the PET flap. This flap is extremely flexible, but a sharp fold could prevent it from functioning properly and it could be necessary to be re- placed.
MAINTENANCE ATTENTION Unplug the appliance from power supply before carrying out any cleaning and maintenance intervention and leave the hot parts to cool down. ATTENTION Maintenance opera- tions must be carried out by specialized personnel author- ized by the manufacturer. ATTENTION Do not carry out un- professional or dangerous re- pairs, do not use non-original spare parts. For good operation, it is nec- essary a periodic maintenance performed by the qualified tech- nician.87MYTHOS 2
