How to turn on the LoopHear 102 V2?
To turn on the device, slide the switch on the back to position 1. The red indicator lights up.
How to charge the batteries?
Connect the supplied mains adapter to a wall socket and plug it into the back of the LoopHear. The first charge must last 8 hours. The white LED indicates charging, it turns green when the batteries are fully charged.
What is the battery life?
In continuous use, the battery life is approximately 4 to 5 hours. On standby, it can reach 12 hours. The batteries discharge in 4 months if the device is turned off.
How to use the LoopHear with a hearing aid?
Place the LoopHear facing you, within one meter. Hearing aid users must switch their device to the T position (telecoil) to pick up the magnetic field emitted by the integrated induction loop.
How to connect an external microphone?
Plug the external microphone (supplied) into the 3.5 mm pink jack on the back of the device. Once connected, the internal microphone is disabled.
How to adjust the receiver volume?
The volume of the HAC receiver is adjusted with the volume knob on the back of the device. Turn it to the right to increase the sound.
What to do if I do not hear well with the LoopHear?
Check that the device is on and placed in front of you. Make sure the hearing aids are in T position. Adjust the loop power using the loop current potentiometer on the back. Move away from sources of magnetic interference.
