DEUSAFETY INSTRUCTIONS Please read this manual carefully and keep it for future reference.
Ensure that the mains voltage corresponds to the voltage that is shown on the appliance’s indicator plate.
Fully unwind the cable and carefully examine it before use.
If the power cord is damaged, to avoid any danger it must be replaced by , its after-sales service, or a qualied person that has been approved by .

Place your appliance on a at surface.
We advise cleaning the plates before using them for the rst time. Use a little hot water and a sponge. Dry thoroughly.
A new appliance may smoke a little when used for the rst time. To reduce this phenomenon, proceed in the following manner: heat up the appliance with the lid open for 10 minutes, then let it cool for around 30 minutes. DAILY OPERATIONS
Fully unwind the cord.
Plug in the appliance, with the lid closed. The red light comes on when you switch the appliance on using the on/off button.
When the ideal cooking temperature is reached, the green light comes on and a sound signal will alert you to this. You can begin cooking after greasing the plates. Place your toasted sandwiches in the moulds intended for them (4 sandwiches at a time) and choose the desired cooking time by pressing the “-” or “+” buttons. You can add up to
minutes of cooking time. The time is counted in minutes. During the nal minute, the time is counted in seconds.
Close the appliance by pressing down the cover until you can close the locking clip and press the on / off button. 30* If you want to add cooking time at the end of the set time, you can press the “+30 sec”. You now have an additional 30 seconds to cook your toasted sandwich.
Depending on your preference, you do not have to take the green light into account and can judge whether your toasted sandwiches are cooked by opening the appliance. AFTER USE
When you are nished using the appliance, press stop and unplug the power cord. MAINTENANCE
Never immerse the appliance in water. Always unplug it and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
Cooking plates: Clean them with a damp sponge, perhaps containing a light detergent product and dry using absorbent kitchen paper or a dry cloth.
Do not use scouring pads as they may scratch the non-stick surface.
Outer casing: if necessary, use a damp sponge with a small amount of detergent and wipe dry using a soft cloth.
Toasted sandwiches cook very quickly, so we advise you to prepare all the ingredients before heating up your Croq’y
. Fill your toasted sandwiches and put them on a plate. Remember to lightly butter the two outside faces of the toasted sandwich before cooking. Do this for all the recipes (optional). The chef’s secret: when you place a slice of ham on the toast, rst cut it into several pieces. This makes it easy to enjoy!
COUNTRY TOASTED SANDWICH
The ingredients: 2 spoons of mustard, 1 sliced tomato, 2 thin slices of bacon. Spread the mustard on the inside faces of the bread, lay the slices of tomato on one side and top with a thin slice of bacon after previously frying it in a pan. Cover with the second slice of bread and cook.
CHICKEN TOASTED SANDWICH
The ingredients: 100 gr of grated Swiss cheese, 100 gr of chopped white chicken or turkey. Dress one slice of bread with the grated cheese. Place the chopped poultry on top of the cheese, cover with more cheese, add the second slice of bread and cook.
GOAT’S CHEESE TOASTED SANDWICH
The ingredients: 100 gr of ham, 1 crottin de Chavignol goat’s cheese. Cover one slice of bread with thin slices of cheese, place a slice of ham cut to t the shape of the bread on top, add more slices of cheese, cover with the second slice of bread and cook.
DESSERT TOASTED SANDWICH
The ingredients: a few squares of chocolate, 1 slice of pineapple. Cover one slice of bread with the squares of dark chocolate, add a slice of pineapple, cover with the second slice of bread and cook. 32WARRANTY CONDITIONS domestic appliances guarantee.
