How do I assemble the Emerio MC122646.1 food processor?

First, attach the stainless steel blade onto the blade support inside the jar. Add the food to be chopped. Then place the lid on the jar, and place the motor unit on top. Rotate the motor unit clockwise until it locks with the jar via the two tabs (A & B) on the edge. Finally, plug in and press the on/off button.

What is the maximum capacity for chopping?

The recommended maximum filling quantity is 200g for vegetables or meat cut into small pieces (approx. 2 cm cubes). Exceeding this may cause the motor to block.

Can I chop ice cubes or frozen food?

No. This product cannot chop hard things such as meat with bones, soybeans, pepper, coffee beans, ice cubes, or frozen food. Use only for soft to medium-hard ingredients.

How long can I operate the food processor continuously?

Do not operate for more than 1 minute at a time. After each use, let the appliance cool for at least 2 minutes. After 3 cycles, allow it to rest for 30 minutes to cool the motor.

How do I clean the Emerio MC122646.1?

Unplug the appliance. Remove the motor unit. Wash the removable lid and jar in warm soapy water or in the dishwasher. The blade is very sharp; handle with care. Wipe the motor unit with a damp cloth only; never immerse it in water.

Are the jar and lid dishwasher safe?

Yes, the jar and the lid are dishwasher-proof. However, the motor unit and non-slip mat should not be placed in the dishwasher.

What should I do if the blades don't speed up after a few seconds?

If the blades cannot speed up within a few seconds, unplug the unit and remove some of the food from the jar. Then try again with a smaller amount. Overfilling can cause the motor to stall.

Why won't the food processor turn on?

Ensure the motor unit is properly locked onto the jar by rotating it clockwise until the tabs align. The unit will not function if the motor unit is not in place. Also check that the power cord is plugged in.

Can I use the non-slip mat as a lid?

Yes, the non-slip mat included can also be used as a cover for the jar when not in use. It provides a stable base during operation as well.

What is the warranty period for this product?

Before use make sure to read all of the below instructions in order to avoid injury or damage, and to get the best results from the appliance. Make sure to keep this manual in a safe place. If you give or transfer this appliance to someone else make sure to also include this manual.

In case of damage caused by user failing to follow the instructions in this manual the warranty will be void. The manufacturer/importer accepts no liability for damages caused by failure to follow the manual, a negligent use or use not in accordance with the requirements of this manual.

1. Warning: Potential risk of injuries from misuse.
2. Always disconnect the appliance from the supply if it is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning.
3. This appliance shall not be used by children. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children.
4. Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved.

BEFORE USE

1. Remove the appliance from the packaging.
2. Take care when handling sharp blades.
3. Clean the appliance as described in section "cleaning and maintenance".

USE

1. Attach the blades on to blade support in the jar and pour in the food to be chopped. Hard food must be cut into small pieces (about 2cm). Otherwise, the motor may block.
2. Place the lid on top of the jar. Place the motor unit on the lid. Rotate the motor unit in clockwise direction until it is locked with the jar by the two tabs (A & B) on the edge of the jar.

1. Plug the appliance in. Press the on/off button for processing.
   Note: After put the food in the jar, if the blades cannot speed up in a few seconds, please unplug the unit and take out part of food, then continue.
2. After use, unplug the appliance and wait unit the blade stops completely. Remove the motor unit, the removable lid and the blades.

Always make sure the motor unit is in place; otherwise the unit will not function. After finish processing, the non-slip mat can also be used as the cover of the jar.

Do not operate for more than 1 minute at a time. Stop and cool for 2 minutes then resume.

Please make sure the appliance rest more than 2 minutes between any two operations. After working 3 cycles, the unit has to stop 30 minutes to wait the main engine to cool down.

This product cannot chop hard things, such as meat with bones, soya bean, pepper, coffee bean, ice cubes and freezing food.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

1. Unplug the appliance and remove motor unit.
2. Wash the removable lid and the jar in warm soapy water.
3. The jar and the lid are dishwasher-proof.
4. Wipe the motor unit with a dampen cloth. Never immerse it in water for cleaning as electrical shock may occur.
5. Dry thoroughly.
