SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS Before use make sure to read all of the below instructions in order to avoid injury or damage, and to get the best results from the appliance. Make sure to keep this manual in a safe place. If you give or transfer this appliance to someone else make sure to also include this manual. In case of damage caused by user failing to follow the instructions in this manual the warranty will be void. The manufacturer/importer accepts no liability for damages caused by failure to follow the manual, a negligent use or use not in accordance with the requirements of this manual.

1. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years

and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

2. Children shall not play with the appliance.

PLACEMENT This appliance is designed to be placed on a hard, level surface. When positioning, please keep the following points in mind:

1. If you are placing the appliance in an alcove, make sure that there is at least 150mm of space on all sides to

ensure good air circulation.

2. The appliance must not be located over a fixed electrical socket. The socket must always be accessible in

order to disconnect the appliance from the electrical supply for maintenance.

3. Keep hearth rugs and other soft furnishings away from the front of the appliance. They could obstruct the

free flow of hot air from the fan and damage both soft furnishings and appliance.

SAFETY CUT-OFF This appliance is fitted with a safety cut-off which will operate if the appliance overheats (e.g. due to blocked air vents). For safety reasons, the appliance will NOT automatically reset. To reset the appliance, disconnect the appliance from the mains supply for at least 15 minutes. Reconnect and switch on the appliance. MAINTENANCE Before carrying out maintenance work, disconnect the appliance from the power supply! Lamp replacement Two lamps are located behind the back panel. To gain access to the lamps, the two screws which secure the back panel must be removed. Remove and slide out panel.

Remove the faulty lamp by unscrewing it. Replace with 25W E14 SES Clear Candle lamp. Take care not to over-tighten the lamp. Refit the back panel and secure with the two screws.- 7 -

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Before cleaning, always remove the plug from the electrical socket. Ensure that the unit is cool enough to work on. Do not use harsh chemicals or solvents to clean this product and avoid using abrasive cleaning agents. The appliance and screen need only to be wiped clean with a dry, soft cloth; do not use polishes or abrasive materials. Do not immerse in water or any liquid when you clean it. Use a slightly damp, lint-free cloth to clean this appliance. TROUBLE SHOOTING No heat or light: Check the wall socket by plugging in a working appliance. If socket is functional, and the cord or plug of the heater is suspected to be faulty, have it checked by an electrician. Light but no heat: Check that the thermostat knob is set above the current room temperature. Alternatively, the safety cut-off may have engaged - see safety cut-off section. Damage to accessories does not mean free replacement of the whole appliance. In such case please contact our service department. Broken glass or breakage of plastic parts is always subject to a charge. Defects to consumables or parts subjected to wearing, as well as cleaning, maintenance, replacement of said parts or shipping and transportation costs to and from any place of repair are not covered by the warranty and are to be paid.
