• Always disconnect all appliances inside the aquarium from the electric power supply before carrying out any maintenance.

• Ensure that the voltage shown on all electrical components corresponds to that of your home electrical power supply.

• Before switching on make sure your home is protected by an automatic safety breaker switch.

• Do not connect the appliance to the power supply before correctly completing all the installation procedures (including lling the aquarium with water).

• When connecting the appliance to the power supply, ensure that the lowest point of the cable is lower than the electrical socket so that any drops of water do not accidentally run down the cable and into the power supply (A).

• The product is intended only for indoor use.

• The temperature of the liquid must not exceed 35° C.

• Do not connect the pump to the power supply when it is not submerged in water.

• Do not use if the cable or the device should be damaged in any way.

• The power supply cable has Z-type wiring, so it cannot be repaired or replaced: If damaged, have the entire device replaced.

• The maximum depth of immersion is 1 m.

• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

• Children shall not play with the appliance.

• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

Please read the following instructions very carefully for the best understanding of how this pump is used and its advantages. INSTALLATION Attention: please verify that all components of the lter are undamaged before putting it into function. Clean the place where you intend to put the lter and whenever necessary x it with the included suction cups (2). We suggest to avoid lateral contact to the glass walls of the tank to avoid resonance caused by vibration. For best results we suggest you to position the lter so that the water outlet is completely covered by water. By doing this you will obtain more regular and silent recycling of the water. REGULATION The lter is provided with a 7 position system for regulation and control of the outlet. By moving the control knob as indicated in (3)it is possible to adjust the ow of the water to suit the dierent applications required.7Italiano MAINTENANCE Attention: always disconnect the electrical supply to the lter and other

• Electrical items placed into the same water before any kind of intervention.

• Remove the lter lid from the pump body and take out the rotor assembly.

• Clean the rotor assembly from deposits eventually by using a sti brush.

• Remove sponge from lter and rinse it thoroughly under running lukewarm water (4) and reassemble everything in reverse order. Make sure that the rotor spins regularly.

• Do not use any sort of solvents or detergents.

• Regular cleaning and maintenance of the lter will guarantee better perfor- mance and longer life. GUARANTEE This product, all its parts and accessories are covered by warranty within the limits provided for in this paragraph and the legal regulations currently in force. The guarantee only covers manufacturing defects and includes the repair or replacement of the product free of charge. The guarantee does not cover damage and/or defects caused by carelessness, wear, unsuitable usage not complying with the instructions and warnings in this manual, accidents, tampering, incorrect use, bad repair work or purchases not accompanied by a scal receipt.
