Can I use the Vonroc CH513AC heater in a bathroom?

No, the device should not be used outdoors, in humid environments, bathrooms or near a bathtub, shower or swimming pool. This presents a risk of electrocution.

How do I adjust the temperature?

Turn the thermostat knob (4) to set the desired temperature. The device turns on and off automatically to maintain this temperature constant.

What should I do if the device turns off by itself?

This is normal: the thermostat cuts off the power when the room temperature reaches the set point. If the room cools down, the device turns back on. If the shut-off is frequent or untimely, check that the device is not covered or the air intake is not obstructed.

How to clean the convector?

Turn off and unplug the device, let it cool down completely. Wipe the casing with a soft cloth. For stubborn stains, use a damp cloth then dry. Never spray water and do not use solvents or aggressive products.

Can I use an extension cord?

Yes, but it should be as short as possible and fully unrolled. Do not plug other devices into the same outlet as the heater.

What are the available power levels?

Three levels: 750 W (switch 2a alone), 1250 W (switch 2b alone), and 2000 W (both switches on). The CH513AC model does not have a fan.

How to store the device after use?

Let it cool down completely, unplug it, then store in a dry, well-ventilated place. Protect it from dust. Never store it in a humid place.

What to do in case of malfunction?

Contact VONROC directly if the product has a defect in parts or workmanship during the warranty period. Repairs by unauthorized persons void the warranty.

The device emits an odor when first used, is this normal?

Yes, a slight odor from the heating element is normal during initial uses. It will disappear after a few heating cycles.

Yes, this manual covers the models CH513AC, CH513AC_GREY, CH513AC_WHITE, as well as the CH514AC with fan. Differences are indicated in the manual.

GENERAL SAFETY WARNINGS

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. 2. MACHINE INFORMATION

Intended use

The convector heater is intended for indoor use only. The machine must be placed on a stable surface. The heater is equipped with a thermostat and safety features such as over-heat protection.

3. OPERATION

Check the device for damage before use and only use in good working condition.

When using the heater for the first time, you may notice a slight smell originating from the heating element. This is quite normal and it should disappear after using the heater for some time.

Placing the convector panel heater on the floor (fig. C)

• Install the floor stands (5) on the underside of the heater (1) using the supplied screws (fig. C).
• Place the heater upright on a firm and level surface.
• Keep a minimum distance of 1m from combustible materials (furniture, curtains, etc.). Keep away from wet environments.

Warning! Make sure to place the heater in a safe spot, so you cannot easily trip over the machine and cable. Make sure to place the heater where it cannot fall down.

Starting the convector panel heater (fig. B)

• The heater is equipped with two heating elements which can be independently switched on or off.
• The heating power can be adjusted in three steps by enabling and disabling the individual heating elements. Refer to the table below for the available settings:

- Additionally, the CH514AC / CH514AC_GREY / CH514AC_WHITE is equipped with a fan to improve convection. The fan may be switched on/off by using the corresponding switch (3)

Constant room temperature

The heater starts and stops automatically to keep the room temperature constant. Once the ambient temperature in the room reaches the desired target temperature, the heating element will be switched off. Once the ambient temperature starts to decrease, the heating element will be switched on again.

Automatic overheat-safety control

This heater is equipped with an internal safety thermostat and overheat protection circuit. When a potential overheat temperature is reached, the system will automatically shut the heater off.

Storing the convector panel heater

Always let the heater cool down completely before moving or storing the heater. Make sure the heater is unplugged from mains power while in storage.

Warning. Do not store the machine in a wet environment. Protect the machine from dust while in storage.

After a prolonged time in storage, always check to make sure the heating element is clean and free from dust before using the heater again.

5. MAINTENANCE

Before cleaning and maintenance, always switch off the machine and remove the mains plug from the mains.

Cleaning

Let the machine cool down completely before cleaning.

• Wipe the enclosure with a soft cloth. For very dirty parts, wipe with a damp cloth, then use a clean, dry cloth to fully dry. Be careful not to let any water enter the inside of the appliance
• In order to protect the heater, don't splash water onto the heater, and never use chemical solvents or aggressive cleaning products.

Storage

• Allow the heater to cool down completely before storing it.
• Store the heater in a dry, well ventilated space

Should the product develop any failure during this period due to defective material and/or workmanship then contact VONROC directly.

The following circumstances are excluded from this guarantee:

• Repairs and or alterations have been made or attempted to the machine by unauthorized service centers;
• Normal wear and tear;
• The tool has been abused, misused or improperly maintained;
• Non-original spare parts have been used.

This constitutes the sole warranty made by company either expressed or implied. There are no other warranties expressed or implied which extend beyond the face hereof, herein, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. In no event shall VONROC be liable for any incidental or consequential damages. The dealers remedies shall be limited to repair or replacement of nonconforming units or parts.
