Frequently Asked Questions - LS100X LucidSound

How to pair the LS100X headset with my Xbox via the USB adapter?

Insert the wireless USB adapter into the USB port of your Xbox. Press and hold the EQ/BT button for 3 seconds to activate Bluetooth pairing mode. The headset will connect automatically. The LEDs on the headset and adapter will become solid.

Why is there no sound in my headset?

Check that the volume wheel is not at minimum. Make sure the headset is properly connected (solid LED). On Xbox, adjust the Game/Chat balance wheel. Also check the console audio settings to ensure sound is output to the headset.

How to activate the internal microphone?

The internal microphone activates automatically when the boom mic is detached from the headset. If the boom mic is attached, the internal microphone is deactivated.

How to change the equalization mode?

Press the EQ/BT button once to cycle through modes: Signature Sound, Bass Boost, and FPS. A voice prompt confirms the selected mode.

How to check the battery level?

Press the center button (located on the earcup) twice in Bluetooth or gaming mode. A voice prompt will indicate the battery level.

What should I do if my microphone is not working?

Make sure the boom mic is securely attached and that the microphone LED is not lit (if lit, the mic is muted). Check the console settings to select the headset microphone as the input device.

How to reset or switch to Bluetooth mode?

Press and hold the EQ/BT button for 3 seconds to activate Bluetooth pairing. To switch between Bluetooth and gaming mode, press and hold the center button for a few seconds.

How often should I recharge the battery?

Recharge the headset when the low battery indicator lights up. To maintain battery capacity, fully charge it at least once a year if the headset is unused. Avoid letting the battery fully discharge for more than 60 days.

How to clean my LS100X headset?

Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the surfaces. Do not use chemicals or solvents. Avoid getting moisture into the openings.

What to do in case of interference or noise?

Make sure the headset and USB adapter are close to each other and that no metal objects are obstructing the signal. Move the headset away from other wireless devices. If the problem persists, try reconnecting the adapter.

NOTE: Remember to charge your headset at least once every 30 – 60 days when either the low battery indicator is active, or the battery is depleted so that the battery retains its ability to charge. Remember to fully charge the headset at least once a year if the headset will not be used for an extended period of time so that the battery retains its ability to charge. Battery capacity will gradually reduce over time with repeated charging.

Why do I hear static or no sound?

Ensure the Wireless Headset is paired with the console/device by referencing the LED indicators. Make sure the Volume Wheel is not set to minimum. On Xbox make sure that the Game/Chat Balance Wheel is not maxed out to either Game or Chat audio. Check console/device menu settings to ensure sound is being output to the headset.

Why can't my friends hear me?

Make sure that the Boom Mic is securely attached to the headset, and that the Boom Mic LED is not on. Check console/device menu settings to ensure the headset microphone is selected for input.
