2. INSTALLATION BY APPROVED AGENT

To ensure the function and safety of the Flow, we recommend that the installation is carried out by an approved service agent. A list of approved service agents is available on the Alde web site. Alternatively, try the Alde App from Apple iTunes Store or Google Play.

3. ALDE FLOW INSTALLATION

The Alde Flow can be placed above, under or alongside the Alde Boiler. It can be placed in a wardrobe or storage place, but it can also be located under the floor of the vehicle. If located outside the vehicle, the tank should be built into an enclosed space so that it is protected from water spray, exhaust fumes, etc. An accumulator tank shall be installed immediately prior to Alde Flow to level the pressure. The accumulator tank shall be approved for at least 5 bar.

The rating plate on the boiler must be legible after installation.

The Alde Flow must be screwed securely to the floor through the holes in the fixing brackets (see figure 1). Choose screws according to the material (not included).

3:1 CONNECTION TO THE CENTRAL HEATING

To connect the Alde Flow into your Alde central heating, refer to "Plumbing Diagram - Central Heating". Make sure you have the ability to bleed the system of air.

NB: Pay close attention to the direction of the non-return valves.

IMPORTANT! non-return valves must be fitted in the correct direction.

3:2 CONNECTION TO THE HOT WATER

To connect the Alde Flow into your hot water, refer to "Plumbing Diagram - Hot Water".

WARNING! The safety/drain valves for the hot water must be located in the correct positions, according to the diagram. This is to allow the fresh water to be drained.

IMPORTANT! An accumulator tank shall be installed immediately prior to Alde Flow to level the pressure. Accumulator tank shall be approved for at least 5 bar.

3:3 ELECTRICAL CONNECTION

Connect the Alde Flow's 12 V circulation pump to the socket on the options dongle marked "Extra Hot Water Pump" (JP4). NB: The options dongle is supplied separately.

3:4 ACTIVATING ALDE FLOW

To activate the Alde Flow, it must be enabled in the Alde 3020 control panel. From the Main Menu, go to Settings Menu>Installed Accessories Menu (see Figure 1). Tick the box for "Aux Hot Water Tank" (see Figure 2).

4. USING ALDE FLOW

When continuous hot water is required, press the button for more hot water (see figure 1).

The function is then active for 30 minutes and returns automatically to normal setting.

During the heating phase, the symbol for "Aux Hot Water Tank" flashes. When the temperature reaches 60^ , the symbol is permanently lit (see figure 2). If button sound is on a sound can also be heard.

5. TROUBLESHOOTING

No central heating after a period of time

• Check the direction of the non-return valves is correct.

No continuous hot water

• Hot Water Boost automatically deactivates after 30 minutes. Activate Hot Water Boost again.
• Check that "Aux Hot Water Tank" is ticked in Installed Accessories Menu. The tank symbol will appear in the Standby Screen when Hot Water Boost is activated.
• Bleed the system of air.
• Check that the Alde Flow's 12 V circulation pump is connected to the options dongle correctly.
• Check that both gas and electric heating are selected and functioning.
• Check that the Alde Flow's 12V circulation pump has 12V power and is functioning.

"Aux Hot Water Tank" does not appear in Installed Accessories Menu

• Check that the options dongle is connected to the Alde 3020 Compact HE boiler
• Reset the 12 V power supply to the boiler after connecting the options dongle to clear saved behaviours.

• Bleed the system of air.

There comes no water despite the fact that the tap is open.
- Check that the vehicles fresh water pump is on.
- Check that there is no ice plugs in water tank or pipes.
- Check that all draining valves / FrostControl are closed.

No warm water from the outlet when the tap is opened

• Check that the vehicle's water pump is functioning and there is a supply of water.

The "Aux Hot Water Tank" symbol flashes

• The water is in the process of being heated. The symbol changes to being permanently lit when the temperature reaches 60^ .
