Risk of burning! Do not touch the product’s hot surfaces. Heat rises from the product during use. Caution! Hot surface!
2. This product can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they are being supervised or have been instructed concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
3. Children shall not play with the product.
4. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be carried out by
children unless they are older than 8 years and supervised.
5. Keep the product and its power cord out of reach of children
aged less than 8 years.
6. Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless
continuously supervised.
7. A damaged power cord may only be replaced by the
authorised service agent in order to avoid hazards.
8. The maximum mass of dry textile material to be used in the
product is 7 kilograms .
9. The tumble dryer is not to be used if industrial chemicals
have been used for cleaning.
10. The lint trap has to be cleaned frequently.

14. Items that have been soiled with substance such as cooking
oil, acetone, alcohol, petrol, kerosene, spot removers, turpentine, waxes and wax removers should be washed in hot water with an extra amount of detergent before being dried in the tumble dryer.
15. Items such as foam rubber (latex form), shower caps,
waterproof textiles, rubber backed articles and clothes or pillows tted with foam rubber pads should not be dried in the tumble dryer.
16. Fabric softeners, or similar products, should be used as
specied by the fabric softener instructions.
17. The nal part of a tumble dryer cycle occurs without heat
(cool down cycle) to ensure that the items are left at a temperature that does not damage the dried cloth.
18. Remove all objects from pockets such as lighters and keys.
19. Warning: never stop the tumble dryer before the end of the
drying cycle unless all items are quickly removed and spread out so that the clothes are allowed to properly cool down.
20. The exhaust air must not be discharged into a ue which is
used for exhausting fumes from appliances burning gas or other fuels.
21. The appliance must not be installed behind a lockable door,
a sliding door or a door with a hinge on the opposite side to that of the tumble dryer, in such a way that a full opening of the tumble dryer door is restricted.
22. For appliances with ventilation openings in the base, make
sure that the openings are not obstructed, e.g. by carpet.

24. Read this user manual thoroughly before rst use and pass it on with the product. Pay attention to

25. Use the product only for its intended purpose and with recommended accessories and
components. Improper use or wrong operation may lead to hazards.

30. Avoid damages to the power cord that may be caused by kinks or contact with sharp corners.
31. Keep this product including power cord and power plug away from all heat sources such as ovens,
hot plates and other heat-producing products/objects.
32. Only unplug from the power socket by the plug itself. Do not pull on the cord.

BEFORE FIRST TIME USE
- Remove the product and accessories carefully from the original packaging. It is recommended to keep the original packaging for storage. If you wish to dispose of the original packaging, please observe applicable legal provisions. Should you have any questions regarding proper disposal, contact your local waste management center.
- Inspect the delivery contents for completeness and damages. Should the delivery contents be incomplete or damaged, contact your sales outlet immediately.
- After unpacking, please refer to chapter Cleaning and Care. INSTALLATION Note: The air vented dryer is equipped with power cord and plug. Before installation, make sure that a wall outlet is at the desired place of installation. Consider the dimension of the product for placing and installation.
Place the tumble dryer on an even, horizontal and steady surface. For levelling the feet are adjustable and can be screwed in or out. Use a level to ensure that the device is in a horizontal position. Make sure to keep the minimum clearance to the rear side. Installing the exhaust hose
Connect the end of the ex tube with the ange to the air outlet at the backside of the device and turn it until it is xed tightly.
Warning! The exhaust air must not be discharged into a ue which is used for exhausting fumes from appliance burning gas or other fuels. The other end of ex tube has to be extended to an outdoor area or a proper ventilation pit.
- Before drying, thoroughly spin the laundry in the washing machine. High spin speed can reduce the drying time and save energy consumption.
- For uniform drying result, sort the laundry according to fabric type and desired drying program.
- Before drying, please close zips, hooks and eyelets, button up, tie fabric belts, etc.
- Do not over dry the clothes, because over dried clothes can easily get creases or might shrink.
- Do not dry articles containing rubber or similar elastic materials such as raincoats, bicycle covers and feather products.
- The door may be opened only after the program of the dryer is completed. Do not open the door before the program has nished, as skin may be scalded by steam or hot surface.
- Clean the lint lter after each use to avoid extension of drying time and energy consumption.
- Do not dry clothes after chemical dry-cleaning. Consider below weight references. For drying clothes follow below instructions:
1. Open the door, ll the drum with your clothes and close the door.
2. Switch on the appliance with ON/OFF button (Ein/Aus).
3. Chose the desired program, refer to Programming table.
4. Chose an additional function if needed or set the time delay (Startzeitvorwahl).
5. Push button Start/Pause. The dryer starts the drying process at the preset conditions.
6. By pushing the Start/Pause button again, the dryer stops. To continue the drying process push
the Start/Pause button again. If drying is nished a beep will sound six times and the Filter and Anti-Crease control LEDs will ash continuously until the door is opened. Open the door and remove all clothes. Caution! The door may only be opened if the appliance is not running, e.g. after the drying process has nished. Do not try to open the door when the appliance is running to avoid burns or scalding caused by hot steam or hot surfaces. There is also a mechanical danger due to the rotating drum. Note:
- The appliance is equipped with a humidity sensor to measure the moisture in the drum or appliance. The residual time for drying is determined by the weight of inserted clothes and measured moisture.

If you wish to postpone the drying process, a time delay can be set. Use the time delay button (Startzeitvorwahl) to set a postponed start between 1-24 hours. The dryer starts the drying process after the preset time has elapsed.
1. Fill the drum with your clothes and close the door.
2. Switch ON the appliance with the On/O switch (Ein/Aus).
3. Chose your program and an additional function if needed (e.g. Anti-Crease).
4. Push the button delay (Startzeitvorwahl) for as many times as needed to set the time delay in
hours (h) which is indicated by the LED in the time delay display.
5. Push the button Start/Pause. The dryer is activated and will start the drying process once the
preset time has elapsed.
Once the child protection is activated, the setting cannot be changed. In that case the dryer can only be switched o by pushing the On/O switch (Ein/Aus). The child protection can only be activated if the dryer operation was started or is running either directly or by time delay.
1. Activation: Press the anti-crease button (Knitterschutz) and the delay button
(Startzeitvorwahl) at once and for more than 3 seconds. The corresponding LED of the control panel indicates the child protection (Kindersicherung).
2. De-activation: Press the buttons anti-crease (Knitterschutz) and delay (Startzeitvorwahl)
at once and for more than 3 seconds. The corresponding LED of the control panel (Kindersicherung) turns o. Anti-crease function (Knitterschutz)
This function is used to minimize the appearance of crease after the drying process is nished. The standard time for this function is 30 minutes. The drum rotates intermittently in order to minimize formation of crease.
- Press anti-crease (Knitterschutz) and the related LED lights on. Intensity
Press the button Intensity to select additional dryness levels for the laundry. Three levels can be choosen. The drying time increases 3 minutes in every level.
- Intensity function can be activated only before the program start.
- Pess the Intensity button repeatedly to select the additional drying time. Signal
Press the Signal button to select acoustic signal function being on or o.
- Warning! When cleaning, never use solvents or abrasive materials, hard brushes, metallic or sharp objects. Solvents are harmful to human health and can attack plastic parts, while abrasive cleaning mechanisms and tools may scratch the surface(s).
- Warning! Switch o the tumble dryer and let it cool down completely before cleaning.
- Clean the exterior surfaces of the product with a slightly damp cloth and dry them well. Make sure that no water enters the product interior (e.g. at the control wheel). Cleaning the lint lter The LED Filter on the control panel will indicate when the air inlet needs to be cleaned.
Pull out the lter and open it. Remove lint and bers by hand. Wash the lter with tap water in order to remove remaining lint or particles. Reassembling is done in reverse order. IM_OTD71116_181008_V04_HR.indb 20 8/10/18 5:05 pm21
