How to use the smoothie function?

Press the Smoothie button on your blender. The program runs automatically for a predetermined duration with speed changes for a smooth result. To stop before the end, press C.

Can I blend hot liquids?

No, never pour liquid at a temperature above 40°C into the bowl. The steam could expel the liquid suddenly and cause injury.

How to clean the blade block?

Unscrew the bowl collar, carefully remove the blade block. Wash it in warm soapy water, rinse and dry. Replace it and firmly screw the collar back. Beware of sharp blades.

What to do if the appliance does not start?

Check that the bowl is properly locked on the motor unit (align the symbols). Ensure the plug is connected and the C button is lit. If the problem persists, contact an authorized technician.

How long can I run the blender continuously?

Do not exceed 2 minutes of continuous operation. After 2 minutes, turn off the appliance and let it cool for at least 2 minutes to avoid overheating.

Can I wash the parts in the dishwasher?

Yes, removable parts (bowl, lid, cap, collar, blade block) can be washed on the top rack of the dishwasher. Note that this may affect the appearance but not the functionality.

How to change speed during operation?

You can change functions during processing by directly pressing the desired function button (speed 1, 2, 3 or program). To stop, press C.

BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME

Turn to "CARE AND MAINTENANCE" and clean the appliance, to remove manufacturing dust, etc.

PREPARATION

1. Sit the motor unit on a stable, level surface.
2. Align the on the bottom of the jug with the on the motor unit (fig. A).
3. Lower the jug on to the motor unit, then turn the jug to align the with the 1 (fig. B). Your blender will not operate unless the jug is correctly fitted and locked.
4. Remove the lid.
5. Put the ingredients into the jug. Don't fill past the 1500 ml mark. If you do, the contents may force the lid off when you start the motor.
6. Replace the lid. Don't operate the appliance without fitting the lid.
7. Put the plug into the power socket.
8. Press the button. The button will light up indicating that your blender is ready to start.
9. Press the desired function button according to the table below.

Button Function
	Stop/standby.
1,2,3	Selects speed 1,2 or 3. Speed 1 is the slowest, speed 3 is the fastest.
	Ice crush/Pulse - for crushing ice or fine blending control.
	Smoothie - blend frozen fruits and other ingredients into thick smoothies
	Icy drink - liquefy frozen drinks.
	Soup - use for making soups.

1. The Smoothie, Icy drink and Soup functions will run for a pre-set time and then stop automatically. The speed of the motor may change, and the motor may stop briefly from time to time while the function is running. This optimises blending for the selected function.
2. You can change functions during processing by pressing the desired function button.
3. To stop the motor or function at any time, press the button.
4. Generally, large quantities, thick mixes, and a high ratio of solids to liquids require longer timings and slower speeds.
5. Smaller quantities, thinner mixes, and more liquids than solids require shorter timings and higher speeds.
6. To add ingredients while the blender is working, remove the cap, pour the new ingredients through the hole, then replace the cap.
7. Check that the added ingredients don't increase the volume in the jug past the 1500ml mark.

WHEN YOU HAVE FINISHED:

1. Switch off () , and wait till the blades come to a stop before removing the lid from the jug, or removing the jug from the motor unit.
2. Turn the jug to align the with the to unlock it, and lift it off the motor unit.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

1. Switch the appliance off (U) and unplug it.
2. Wipe the outside of the motor unit with a clean damp cloth.
3. Hand wash the removable parts.

BLADE UNIT

You may wish to remove the blade unit for cleaning.

1. Remove the lid.
2. Sit the jug upside down.
3. Unscrew the collar from the jug and carefully remove the blade unit.
4. Handle only the plastic - don't touch the metal parts.
5. Wash the blade unit in warm soapy water, rinse, and air dry.
6. Replace the blade unit and screw the collar firmly onto the bottom of the jug.
