Yes, but it must be used with the included USB-A cable (M/F) and the file system must be formatted according to the host device.

Why are transfer speeds slow in real use?

Check that the host USB port supports USB 3.2 Gen 2. The enclosure is tested to achieve 10 Gbps under normal conditions.

Under Windows, after installing the SSD, the disk does not appear in 'This PC', what should I do?

You need to initialize, format, and partition the disk in Computer Management > Disk Management before you can use it.

Windows XP does not recognize a disk larger than 2 TB, why?

Windows XP limits capacity to 2 TB. Use Windows Vista (64-bit) or later and convert the disk to GPT partition.

How to safely eject the enclosure?

Use the 'Safely Remove Hardware' icon in the system tray to stop the device before unplugging it.

Do NVMe SSDs work on Windows 7 or 8?

Windows 7 and 8 require installing an NVMe driver. Windows 8.1 and later include the driver natively.

What is the maximum SSD capacity supported?

There is no capacity limit, but for use on PS5, the external disk must be between 250 GB and 8 TB.

Can I use a SATA M.2 SSD in this enclosure?

No, this enclosure only supports M.2 SSDs with NVMe (PCIe) interface, not SATA SSDs.

How to install the SSD in the enclosure?

Slide off the cover, insert the SSD at an angle, press to lock, then place the silicone sheet and aluminum sheet before closing the cover.

Is the enclosure compatible with PlayStation 5?

Yes, it is compatible. After connection, the disk must be formatted in the PS5 storage settings. Note that only PS4 games can be run directly from an external disk.

Installation

Notice:

• This product uses the M-Key interface, which belongs to the NVMe protocol channel. When installing the M.2 SSD for this product, please check the hard disk interface and protocol channel.
• Although the USB end of the product supports hot-swapping when installing the M.2 SSD, it must be done when the power is off.

• When disassembling and installing the hard disk box, take care to prevent any accessories from becoming lost.

• Hold the product as shown below, and slide the upper cover to the left to remove it.

1. Slide the M.2 card into the enclosure at an angle.

1. Gently press down on the M.2 SSD, and snap it into the standard rubber cartridge.

When you install a new disk in the enclosure and connect it to your PS5 console, you must format the disk in the Storage settings. Note: Disk formatting will erase all previous data on the disk, so proceed with caution.

A: Due to Windows XP system limitations, the hard disk capacity that can be recognized on this system cannot exceed 2 Tb. It can be supported only by computers upgraded to Windows Vista (64 bits) or higher. It is recommended to convert the disk to a GPT disk partition.

Q: How can I protect the hard disk and data and have a safe exit?

A: To remove the mobile hard drive without shutting down the operating system, it is recommended that you safely remove the USB peripheral icon through the lower right corner of the system to safely pop the USB device, and then turn off the power to remove the device.

Q: Can NVMe protocol SSDs be used in Windows versions prior to 8.1?
