Frequently Asked Questions - 09218 Cleanmaxx

How to charge the battery of the Cleanmaxx 09218 vacuum cleaner?
The battery charges via the wall charging station. Connect the power adapter to a socket, insert the battery into the station until it clicks. The red light indicates charging; the green light alone indicates full charge (approximately 4 to 5 hours).
Why is my vacuum cleaner no longer sucking properly?
Several possible causes: low battery (recharge), full dust compartment (empty it), dirty filters (dry clean them), or blockage at the suction opening (clear the obstruction).
Can I vacuum liquids with this vacuum cleaner?
No, never. This vacuum cleaner is designed only for dry dust. Vacuuming liquids can damage the motor and present a risk of electric shock.
How to clean the filters of the Cleanmaxx 09218?
Remove the dust compartment, take out the foam filter and the filter holder containing the HEPA filter. Shake them or gently brush them. Never wash the filters with water; only the filter holder can be rinsed and dried completely before reassembly.
What to do if the battery no longer charges?
Check that the power adapter is properly connected and that the battery is correctly inserted into the station. Try another socket. If the light does not turn on, the power adapter or battery may be defective; contact customer service.
How to empty the dust compartment?
Remove the compartment from the motor unit by turning clockwise. Open the bottom by pulling gently. Empty the dirt, then close the bottom with a click. Put the compartment back by turning counterclockwise.
The vacuum cleaner gives off a strange odor: is this normal?
Yes, a smell may appear during the first use. It usually disappears after a few uses. If the odor persists, check that the filters are clean and that nothing is stuck.
What accessories can I use with the Cleanmaxx 09218?
The device comes with a turbo brush (for floors and carpets), a crevice nozzle (for corners and upholstery), a round brush (for furniture and baseboards) and a nozzle adapter. Only use original accessories.
How to store the vacuum cleaner after use?
Hang the device on the wall mount with the suction opening facing down. Store in a cool, dry place. For prolonged non-use, remove the battery.
What to do if dust escapes from the device during vacuuming?
Check that the dust compartment, filter holder and filters are correctly positioned and closed. If the filters are very dirty or damaged, clean or replace them. Contact customer service for new filters.
