How to do the first oven start-up?

Before first use, remove all accessories and packaging. Heat the empty oven to 250 °C for about one hour using top and bottom heat to eliminate new odors. Ventilate the room well.

How to activate the pyrolysis to clean the oven?

Remove all accessories and shelf guides. Press the extra bake key and select the pyrolysis symbol. Choose the cleaning intensity (2h, 2.5h or 3h) depending on soiling. Confirm and press Start/Stop. The door locks automatically. Do not open it during the cycle.

How to set the oven clock?

After powering on or a power cut, 12:00 flashes. Turn the SELECTOR knob to set the minutes, confirm, then set the hours and confirm. You can also change the clock via the general settings menu (hold extra bake key).

What to do if the oven displays an error code (ErrX or ErXX)?

Unplug the appliance from the mains for a few minutes (remove the fuse or switch off the circuit breaker), then plug it back in. If the error persists, contact an authorized after-sales service.

How to use the AquaClean program?

Place the shallow baking tray at level 1 with 0.4 L of hot water. Press extra bake, select the AquaClean symbol, then start the program (30 min). Once finished, wipe off stains with a damp cloth. The oven must be cold before starting.

How to use the temperature probe (Bakesensor)?

Insert the probe into the thickest part of the food. Plug the connector into the socket at the front of the oven cavity. Turn the SELECTOR knob to On. Choose the cooking system and oven temperature (max 230 °C), then set the desired core temperature (30-99 °C). The oven stops automatically when the core temperature is reached.

How to activate the child safety lock?

Press the light key for 5 seconds. Loc appears. To deactivate, repeat the same operation. When child safety is active, settings cannot be modified.

How to remove the oven door for cleaning?

Open the door completely. Rotate the safety hinges by 90° towards the door. Close the door to an angle of 45°, then lift it and pull it outwards. To remove the glass panels, take off the air guide, then pull the glasses by the upper edge. Reassemble in reverse order.

Which accessories are supplied with the oven?

The oven comes with a grill, a shallow baking tray, a perforated tray (for Air Bake and steam) and a temperature probe (Bakesensor). Some accessories may vary depending on the model.

How to replace the oven light bulb?

Ensure the oven is unplugged and cold. Remove the accessories. Use a flat plastic tool to remove the bulb cover. Replace the halogen bulb with a new one of type G9, 230 V, 25 W. Refit the cover.

Safe and correct use of the ovenduring pyrolytic cleaning

Beforeactivatingtheautomaticcleaningprocess,removeall equipmentfromtheoven:thewirerack,thespit-roastingkit, allbakingtrays,meatprobe,wireandtelescopicguides,and anyothercookwarethatisnotapartoftheovenequipment

Before you start the cleaning process, remove any residue of spilt liquid and all moving parts from the ovencavity.

During the automatic cleaning process, the oven heats up to a very hight temperature and it is very hot on the outside as well. Risk of burns! Keep children away from the oven.

Otherimportantsafetywarnings

The appliance is intended for household use. Donot use it for any other purpose, such as room heating, drying of pets or other animals, paper, fabrics, herb setc. Asthism may lead to injury or fire hazard.

Appliancemustbeconnectedtofixedwiringwhichhasincorporatedmeansofdisconnection.Fixed wiringmustbemadeinaccordancewiththewiringrules.

Donotlifttheappliancebyholdingitbythedoorhandle.

Ovendoorhingesmaybedamagedwhenunderexcessiveload.Donotstandorsitontheopenoven door, and donotleanagainstit. Also, donotplaceanyheavyobjectsontotheovendoor.

Donotlinetheovencavitywithaluminiumfoil, and donotplaceanybakingtraysorothercookware ontheovenbottom. This would obstruct and reduce aircirculation in the oven, slowdown the baking process, and destroy the enamel coating.

Werecommendyouavoidopeningtheovendoorduringbaking,asthisincreasespowerconsumption andincreasescondensateaccumulation.

Attheendofthebakingprocess, and during baking, be careful when opening the ovendoor, asthere is dangerofscalding.

Topreventlimescaleaccumulation,leavetheovendooropenafterbakingorusingtheoven,toallow theovencavitytocooldowntoroomtemperature.

Cleantheovenwhenithascompletelycooleddown.

Eventualmismatchesincolourshadesbetweendifferentappliancesorcomponentswithinasingledesignlinemayoccurduetovariousfactors,suchasdifferentanglesunderwhichtheappliancesareobserved,differentcolouredbackgrounds,materials,androomillumination.

Makesurenoforeignobjectsentertheopeningforlockingthedoorguide,asthiscouldblockautomatic doorlockingduringtheovencleaningprocess.

In case of a power outaged during the automatic cleaning process, the program will be terminated after two minutes and the opendoor will remain locked. The door will be unlocked, when the appliance sense that the temperature has dropped to below 150°C in the centre of the opendoor cavity.

Ovendoorswitch

If theovendoorisopened during oven operation, the switchturnsofftheheaterandfanintheoven cavity. Whenthedoorisclosed, the switchturnstheapplianceoperationbackon.

WARNING!

Using the oven with the door open and the door switch engaged (closed) is not allowed. The oven will signal an error, and it will have to be reset.

Coolingfan

The appliance is fitted with a cooling fan that cold the housing, the door, and the appliance control unit. After the oven is switched off, the cooling fan continues to operate for short while in order to cooldown the oven.

The WIRERACK is used for grilling/broilingor assupport forapan, baking tray or baking dish with the foody you are baking.

Thereisasafetylatchonthewirerack. Therefore,thewirerackhastobelifted slightlyatthefrontwhenpullingitoutfrom theoven.

SHALLOWBAKINGTRAYisusedforflatand smallpastry.Itcanalsobeusedasadriptray.

WARNING!

Theshallowbakingtraymaydeformas itheatsupintheoven.Onceitcools down,itreturnstotheinitialshape. Suchdeformationdoesnotaffectits function.

The AIRFRYBAKINGTRAY is used for cooking with system that feature steaminjection and for Air Bake. The perforation improves Air Bake around the food for acrispier crust. When cooking food with high liquid content (water, fat), placeth shallow baking tray or all-purposed deep baking tray on a rack low to serve as driptray.

Beforefirstuse

- Removeovenaccessoriesandanypackaging(cardboard,polystyrenefoam)fromtheoven.

- Wipetheovenaccessoriesandinteriorwithadampcloth.Donotuseabrasiveoraggressive clothsorcleaners.

- Heatanemptyovenforapproximatelyonehourwiththetopandbottomheatersystemata temperatureof250°C.Thecharacteristic"newovenscent"willbereleased;therefore,ventilate theroomthoroughlyduringthisprocess.

Switchingonforthefirsttime

Afterconnectingyourapplianceorafteranextendedpoweroutage,12:00willflashonthedisplay.

First, choose and confirm the following basic settings.

3.DISPLAYDIMMER

Mediumlightintensityisthedefaultsetting.Thesignbrhtandthe currentlysetvalueforthedisplaylightintensitywillappearonthedisplay unit.RotatetheKNOBtoincreaseordecreaselightingintensity.

Afteryouconfirmtheselectedsettings, theclockwillappearonthedisplayunit. Theapplianceisin standbymode.

Fastpreheat

Usethefastpreheatingfunctionifyouwishtoheattheoventothedesiredtemperatureasquicklyas possible.

Toactivatefastpreheating, rotatetheKNOBtothesetting(seeimage, labelD). Confirm theselection. RotatetheKNOBtoselectthefullylitsignandconfirmit. Thefunctionisnowactivated.

When theselectedtemperatureisreached, the preheating process stops and an acoustic signal is emitted. door will appear on the display unit. Open the door and insert the food. The program will automatically continue baking with selected settings.

Fast preheating of the oven: If you are using the fast preheating function, do not insert the food into theovenuntiltheovenisfullyheated.Temperaturehasasubstantialeffectonthefinalresult.Fast preheatingisrecommendedfordelicatecutsofmeat(sirloin),andforyeast-leavenedandsponge doughthatrequireashorterbakingtime.Heatinganemptyovenconsumesalotofenergy.Therefore, ifpossible,werecommendcookingseveraldishesinsuccession,ormakingseveraldishes simultaneously.

Preparingforpyrolyticcleaning

• Removeallvisibleirtandfoodresiduefromtheovencavity.
• Alwaysremovetheguidesandallunnecessaryequipmentfromtheappliance.
• Alwaysstartthepyrolysisprocesswhentheappliancehascooleddown.

1. Touch the extrabake key to display extra functions on the display unit. Rotate the KNOB so that the symbol and P are lit up, and confirm your selection. Three cleaning intensity levels will appear on the display.
   RotatetheKNOBtoselectthecleaningintensitylevel. Themorestubborn thedirt, thehigherthelevelthatshouldbeselected. Mediumlevelis selectedasthedefaultsetting.
   ConfirmyoursettingbypassingontheKNOB.Touchthestartlstop key.Timestarstcountingdown.

1. After acertain period of time, ovendoor will be automatically locked for yours safety. Loc will appear on the display unit while the lock is engaged.

1. Whentheprogramiscompleted, Endwillappearonthedisplayunit andanacousticsignalwillbeemitted.

2. Unpleasantodoursandsmokecanbereleasedduringthepyrolysisprocess,aswellasirritant fumesandgases.Therefore,ensureadequateventilationoftheroomanddonotstayintheroom fortoolong.Donotallowchildrenorpetsneartheovenduringthisprocess.

3. Whenthepyrolyticcleaningprocessiscompleteandtheovenhascooleddown,theovendoor willbeunlockedautomatically.

4. Once the oven cavity has fully cooled down, wipe it with hot soapsuds and a soft cloth to remove any residue(e.g. ashes).

5. Incaseofaverageuseoftheoven, were recommendrunningthepyrolyticcleaningprocessonce permonth.

WARNING!

During the pyrolysis process, food and fat residues may ignite. Therefore, remove all impurities from the oven interior before starting the process.

Appliance exterior will heat up to a high temperature during the pyrolytic cleaning process. Donottouch theovendoor and never hang and combustible objects, such as kitchen cloth sortowels, on the door handle.

Donotattempttoopenthedoorwhileitislocked(duringpyrolyticcleaningandwhilethe applianceiscoolingdownaftertheprocess)!Thecleaningprocessmaybeterminatedand thereisariskofburns!

Smallanimalsorpetscanbeparticularlysensitivetoanyfumes.Werecommendremoving themfromtheroomduringthepyrolyticcleaningprocessandventilatingtheroom thoroughlyoncethecleaningprocessiscomplete.

Pyrolyticlecleaningthesuppliedaccessories

• The supplied accessories (all-purpose deep baking tray, shallow baking tray) may only be cleaned with pyrolysis if the oven is fitted with extrawirerack guides.
• Insert the accessories into the groove on the second or third guide level – never use the first guide level.
• After the pyrolytic cleaning, wait for the equipment to cool down and clean it with hot soapsuds andadampcloth.

WARNING!

If theovenis fitted with extendible guides, the equipment may not be cleaned with pyrolysis.

INFORMATION!

For better cleaning results, were recommend cleaning the oven and the accessories/equipment separately. When using the pyrolytic cleaning process to clean the equipment, the ovencavity may not be completely clean at the end of the cycle.

If you are no happy with the cleaning results, were recommend repeating the process.

Asaresultoftheautomaticpyrolyticcleaning, theovencavity and theovenaccessories may discolourandlosetheirsheen. This does not affect the functionality of the oven or the accessories/equipment.

UsingtheAquaCleanprogramtocleantheoven

Thisprogrammakesiteasiertoremoveanystainsfrominsidetheoven.

Thefunctionisthemosteffectiveifusedregularly,aftereachuse.

Before running the cleaning program, remove all large visible chunks of dirt and food residues from the ovencavity.

3 The program will operate for 30 minutes. Whenthe program is complete, End will appear on the display unit.

4 When the program is completed, carefully removethebaking tray, using oven mitts (there can still besomewater on the baking tray). Wipedown thestains with damp cloth and soapsuds. Thoroughly wipethe appliance with awet cloth to remove all cleaner residue.

4 Holdthedoorglassattheupperedge and removeit. Tothesameforthesecondandthird glasspane(dependingonthemodel).

5 Toreplacetheglasspanes, observethe reverseorder.

Toreplacethedoor, followthereverseorder. If the doordoes not open or close properly, make sure thenotches on the hinges are aligned with the hinge beds.

Replacing the bulb
