Getting started
• Take the appliance out of the box.
- Remove all the packaging from the product.
- Place the packaging inside the box or dispose of it safely in compliance with the waste sorting instructions shown on the product packaging.
Safety warning and notice
You must read and understand all the instructions before using this appliance. The warranty will not apply if damage is caused by failure to follow the instructions.

- Never remove the appliance casing.
- Never place this appliance on top of other electrical equipment.
- Protect the power cord from being stepped on or pinched, particularly at the plugs, sockets, and the point where it exits the appliance. Make sure that the power voltage corresponds to the voltage shown on the rating plate at the rear of the appliance. Always pull the plug from the socket when disconnecting from the mains. Never pull on the cord. Ensure you have completed all the other connections before connecting the plug.

Only use attachments/accessories that are recommended by the manufacturer.

Entrust all appliance repairs to qualified repairers. Repair is needed when the appliance has been damaged in any fashion, and in particular:

if the power cord is damaged;
- in the event of a liquid spill or objects being inserted into the appliance;
- if the appliance is exposed to rain or dampness;
- if the appliance does not operate normally;

or if the appliance has been dropped or impacted.

The series panel is located on the bottom of the appliance.
- Never block the air vents.
- Ensure you have sufficient stable space around the device for ventilation.
- This device must be used in a moderate climate, away from direct sunlight, bare flames or heat, heating devices, cookers or any other devices (including amplifiers) that generate heat. Do not install near a heat source.
- The batteries (battery pack or inserted batteries) must not be exposed to excessive heat, such as sunshine, fire, etc.
- Always unplug the device before cleaning it. Never lubricate any part of this appliance. Clean it with a soft cloth. Do not use abrasive products or harsh cleaners.
- Ensure that you always have easy access to the power cord, plug or adaptor to disconnect
this appliance from the mains if necessary.
- Do not use this appliance near water. It must not be dripped on or splashed. Do not use this appliance in a damp or wet environment.
- Disconnect this appliance in the event of a storm or if you are not going to use it for a long period of time.
- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 and over, and by persons with a physical or sensory disability, learning difficulties or a lack of experience and knowledge, provided they are supervised or have received instructions on the safe use of the appliance, and they understand the risks involved. Children must not play with the appliance or the power cord (risk of strangulation). Children must not clean or maintain the appliance without supervision.
- This device must only be supplied with very low safety voltage corresponding to the marking on the device.
- The battery should be removed from the device before disposal. The device must be disconnected from the power supply when removing the battery.
- The product must be at a minimal distance of 20 cm from human body when working.

- Replacing the battery with an incorrect type that may prevent the protections from working.

- Extremely high temperature and/or extremely low atmospheric pressure which may cause an explosion or leakage of gas or flammable liquid.

- Up button. Press the > to raise the volume and switch to the next track via Bluetooth, SD and USB – Press briefly to raise the volume. Press and hold in SD/USB mode to switch from one file to another.

Play/Pause button. Press to play via Bluetooth, SD and USB. Press briefly to play or pause.

Down button. Press the < button to lower the volume and return to the previous track via Bluetooth, SD and USB – Press briefly to reduce the volume.
- Lighting button. Press briefly to scroll between the lighting modes.
- RGB colours with flame effect.
- The colours react in synchronisation with the music. The light effect starts at the bottom.

Multiple volume control. Multiple volume selection. Press briefly to toggle between the microphone input volume (H), echo amount (E), and output volume (V) levels indicated from 0 to 30 on the front LED display. Turn the volume control knob to adjust each level.

Microphone priority button. When activated, if the user speaks into the microphone, the music stops automatically.
-
Input mode button. Switches between all the input modes available. BT/USB/SD/AUX modes available. The LED display indicates which mode has been selected.

Main volume control. Use the master volume control to increase and decrease the volume of your speaker. Press the multi-volume button to toggle between the microphone volume and the amount of echo and adjust these values to your preference.

AUX-IN input 3.5 mm. Note: The reset button is also located in this cavity. If the system locks up, simply use a thin object such as a needle or paper clip to press this button to reset the product.

USB/SD card input
Note: Maximum supported capacity of 32 GB for USB/SD card reading. MP3 music encoding only.
- Plug adapter 9V 5A (please only use the adapter provided with the speaker)
Charging
Connect the USB cable to the charging port on top of the speaker. During charging, the LED indicator turns red. The charging LED light switches off when charging is complete. A beep will sound a few minutes before the battery is discharged. As soon as the first beep is heard, remember to plug in your speaker to recharge it.
Note: If you experience any drop in volume during battery use, please put the speaker back on mains power as this will be due to low battery.
Bluetooth connection
When the speaker is turned on, the speaker automatically switches to Bluetooth search mode.
Make sure the microphone is plugged in and turned on.
Search for “PARTYBTHPXL” on your mobile device and select it. Once found, a beep will sound to indicate that the speaker is connected to the device.
During pairing, the LED indicator flashes. Once paired, it will turn solid blue.
All connections are located at the rear. The playback mode will automatically default to the connected device. Disconnect the USB-SD card or the auxiliary cable to return to the Bluetooth connection.
Make sure your storage media is in FAT 32 format.
Microphone
Connect the microphone(s) to the inputs on the top panel of the speaker and switch them on using the slide switches. Adjust the microphone volume and echo using the multi-volume button mentioned above.

- VOL+: Press this button to increase the volume
- Play/Pause: Press briefly to pause the music
- CH+: Next channel/Next track
- VOL- : Press this button to lower the volume
- LED: Press to switch on/off the lighting on the speaker.
\*Note
- The recording option allows you to record your voice to a connected USB or SD card.
- Simply press the record button and the speaker will record your voice. Press again to stop recording.
- Please note that this does NOT mix music with your voice. This function is only for recording voice messages.

Additional information
- To save energy, when the appliance does not issue any audio output for a certain amount of time, it will automatically go into standby mode. It can be switched ON by using the POWER selector again.
