Introduction

Congratulations on your new product. You have selected a high quality product. Please be sure to carefully read the com
plete operating instructions. Unfold the two pages with the illustrations. These instructions are part of the product and contain important information on setup and handling. Always follow all safety instructions. Before using this product for the first time verify the correct voltage and that all parts are properly installed. Should you have any questions or you are unsure about operating the product, please contact the dealer or service centre. Please keep these instructions in a safe place and pass them on to third parties as applicable.
Intended use
This light is protection level "IP44" and is only intended for residential use indoors. The light can be fastened to any normally inflammable surface. Protection level "IP44" only applies to the visible area of the light when installed. Protection level "IP20" applies to the area of the light not visible when installed (see Fig. A).
Scope of delivery
Check immediately after unpacking that the parts are complete and that the product is in proper condition.

Use a minimum diameter of 2 × 0.75 ~mm^2 for the cable harness. Use cable end sleeves on respective multistrand cables.

Safety notices
Damage due to failure to comply with these operating instructions will invalidate the warranty! We assume no liability for consequential damage! We assume no liability for material damage or personal injury due to improper handling or failure to comply with the safety instructions!

Avoid the risk of fatal injury from electric shock
Ensure that a qualified electrician, or a person trained to carry out electrical installations, performs the electrical installation.
Always check the light, power supply, and mains cable for damage before plugging it in. Never use the light if it shows any signs of damage.
The fixed LED module is not replaceable. If the LED module is damaged, dispose of the light or contact service.
CAUTION! A damaged mains cable indicates a life-threatening danger due to electric shock. In the event of damage, repairs or other problems with the light please contact the service centre or a qualified electrician.
Prior to installation, remove the fuse or switch off the circuit breaker (0 setting) in the fuse box.
Prior to installation, verify the available mains voltage corresponds with the operating voltage required for the light (230 - 240V)
Ensure that the light does not come into contact with water or other liquids under any circumstances.
Never open any of the components of the electrical equipment or insert any objects into the same components. This will pose a risk of fatal injury from electric shock.
Do not install the light on damp or conductive surfaces.

Avoid the risk of fatal injury from electric shock
The LED module is fixed and not replaceable. Never use the light if the LED module shows signs of damage.

Prevent fire and injury hazards
RISK OF INJURY! Check each lamp and lamp glass for damage immediately after unpacking. Do not mount the light with defective lamps and / or glass shade. Should this be the case, contact the service centre for a replacement.
RISK OF BURNS! Ensure the light has been switched off and has cooled before touching it to avoid burns. Lights develop a lot of heat around the lamp head.

FIRE HAZARD! Fit the light so that it is at least 0.3 m away from the material to be illuminated.

PLOSION HAZARD! Do not use the product in rooms or environments with highly flammable or ex
plosive liquids, gasses, vapours or dusts.

JTION! RISK OF FIRE! Never cover the recessed spotlight with heat-insulating materials or similar.
Ensure adequate cooling. Do not exceed the maximum temperature of 90^ in the installation area.
Only use the recessed spotlight with the included accessories. Do not connect recessed lights in series, doing so will void the warranty.
Do not leave the light or packaging material lying unattended. Plastic film or bags, Styrofoam etc. can become dangerous toys for children.
If the protective disc is defective, the entire light must be replaced.
Not dimmable. The LED lamp installed

is not suitable for dimmers or electronic switches.

Battery safety information
WARNING! DANGER TO LIFE!
Batteries are not intended for children. If accidentally swallowed seek immediate medical attention.

JTION! EXPLOSION HAZARD!
Never recharge non-rechargeable batteries and do not short-circuit and / or open any batteries.
Never throw batteries into fire or water.
Do not exert mechanical loads to batteries.
If you do not observe these instructions, the battery could be discharged beyond the cut-off voltage. There is then a danger of leaking. If a battery has leaked, please remove it instantly from the appliance to avoid damage.
Do not let the fluid from a leaking battery come into contact with your skin, eyes or mucous membranes. In the event of contact with battery acid, thoroughly flush the affected area with clean water and seek immediate medical attention.
Avoid extreme environmental conditions and temperatures, e.g. above radiators as they may affect batteries.
Remove the battery from the device if it is not going to be used for a prolonged period.
Only use the specified battery type!
When inserting the battery ensure the correct polarity! This is shown in the battery compartment.
If necessary, clean the battery and device contacts before inserting the battery.
Promptly remove drained batteries from the product.

Prior to installation
Important: The electrical connection must be established by a qualified electrician or a person trained to perform electrical installations. This person must be familiar with the properties of the light and the connection regulations.

Safe working
Install the light so it is protected from moisture, dirt and extreme heating.
When installing several recessed spotlights, be sure to space the lights a minimum of 20~cm apart.
Carefully prepare for assembly and allow yourself adequate time. Organise all parts and any necessary additional tools or materials before starting so they are easy to reach.
Always be attentive! Always pay attention to what you are doing and proceed with caution at all times. Never install the light if you are having difficulty concentrating or do not feel well.
Familiarise yourself with all the instructions and diagrams in this manual, as well as with the light itself, before you install it.
Before installation ensure that the circuit, to which the light will be connected, is not energised. To do so, remove the fuse or switch off the circuit breaker in the fuse box (Position O, see Fig. B).
Use the voltage tester to verify the de-energised status.
Installation
Mark the position of the recessed spotlight. Cut a hole at the installation site using a hole saw ( 68mm) (See Fig.C). When installing several recessed spotlights, be sure to space the lights a minimum of 20~cm apart.
Feed the power cord (external) through the installation opening (see Fig. D).
- Open the mains connection 1 cover on the driver using a screwdriver (see Fig. E / I).
Remove the insulation on the mains cable as shown in Fig. E / II.
Preparation
- Required tools and material
The tools and materials specified are not included. This information and these values are non-binding
- Connect the power cord (external) to the driver lustre terminal. Then replace the power connection cover on the driver and secure with a screwdriver (see Fig. E / II). Please note the marking L / N (L = black or brown, N = blue) of the connected wires. Any possibly present green / yellow wire present is not connected. As the light is Protection Class II, earthing of the lamp is not required. Use a type H03VV-2F cable with a minimum cross-section of 2 × 0.75 mm^2 . Please use cable end sleeves on multistrand cables.
Connect the driver 1 to the receiver 2. Please follow the instructions in Fig. E / III.
Before fitting the recessed spotlight remove any insulating material near the driver 1 and the spotlight (see Fig. F).
Now guide the driver into the installation opening. - Flip the two retaining springs up and guide the recessed spotlight with receiver and connection cable into the installation opening (see Fig. E/IV).
The recessed spotlight is now ready for use.
Now switch on the power supply (see Fig. H).

- Maintenance and Cleaning

CAUTION! RISK OF ELECTRIC
SHOCK! Disconnect the light from the mains circuit before cleaning. To do so,
remove the fuse or switch off the circuit breaker in the fuse box (0 position).

CAUTION! RISK OF ELECTRIC
SHOCK! For electrical safety, never clean the light with water or other liquids,
or immerse it in water.
Do not use solvents, benzene or similar substances. They could damage the light.
Allow the light to cool off completely.
Only use a dry, lint-free cloth for cleaning.
- Disposal

The package and packaging materials consist entirely of environmentally friendly materials. They can be disposed of at your local recycling facility.

The symbol of the wheelie bin with the line through it means that, in the European Union, the product has to be disposed
of in a separate refuse collection. This applies to the product and to all components bearing this symbol. Do not dispose of products bearing this symbol in your normal household waste, but instead they must be taken for recycling to a collection site for electrical and electronic appliances. Recycling helps to reduce the consumption of raw materials and protects the environment.
Defective or used batteries must be recycled in accordance with Directive 2006 / 66 / EC. Return batteries and/or the device to the provided recycling facilities.

Improper disposal of batteries can harm the environment!
Never dispose of batteries in your household waste. They may contain toxic heavy metals and are subject to hazardous waste regulations. The chemical symbols of the heavy metals are: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead. Therefore dispose of used batteries through your local collection site.
