How to install the EZVIZ DP1C doorbell?

Drill an 18 mm diameter hole about 145 cm from the ground. Measure your door thickness and choose appropriate screws. Attach the camera to the outside of the door, pass the cable through the hole, and connect the screen inside. Follow the manual steps to complete installation.

How to connect the doorbell to my phone?

Download the EZVIZ app, create an account, then press '+' to scan the QR code on the back of the screen. Follow the Wi-Fi setup assistant. Make sure your phone is connected to the 2.4 GHz network.

What to do if the screen does not turn on?

Check that the AC adapter is plugged in correctly and the outlet works. Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds. If the problem persists, reset the device by holding the home button for 5 seconds.

How to charge the doorbell screen?

The screen charges via the included AC adapter. You can remove it from its base by holding the disassembly button and unplugging it from the cable. Plug the adapter directly into the screen.

Is the DP1C doorbell weatherproof?

The outdoor camera is designed to withstand weather conditions, but it is not recommended to expose it to very humid environments or direct water splashes. The indoor screen must be protected from moisture.

How to reset the doorbell to factory settings?

Press and hold the home button for 5 seconds until the screen flashes or a sound is heard. This will reset the Wi-Fi settings and you can add the device again in the EZVIZ app.

Can I use an SD card to record videos?

Yes, the camera has a microSD card slot (not included) for local storage. You can also subscribe to the EZVIZ cloud for online storage.

Does the doorbell work without subscription?

Yes, basic features (live view, two-way audio) are free. Cloud storage requires a subscription, but you can use a microSD card for local recording at no extra cost.

How to clean the EZVIZ DP1C doorbell?

Use a soft dry cloth to clean the screen and camera. Do not use chemical or abrasive products. Avoid scratching the camera lens.

What to do if the Wi-Fi connection is unstable?

Make sure the router is nearby (less than 10 meters) and the signal is not obstructed. Avoid interference with other devices. Restart the router and reset the connection via the EZVIZ app.

Installation

If you already have a peephole, install the device in the same place. If not, please drill a hole of diameter about 18mm and about 145cm distance from the ground to have a good viewing effect.

Measure the door's thickness and select the appropriate screws.

Turn the screws into the back of camera.

Pass screws and wire through the door. You can roll up the paper to help.

Pass screws and wire through the mounting base.

Tear off the release paper.

Adjust camera's position and push it close to the door gently.

Adjust the mounting base's position and tighten the screw.

Connect the panel with the camera's wire.

Hold the dismantle button until the panel is well buckled.

Installation complete.

Power on

Hold the power button for 3 seconds to power on the panel.

Tap the Home button to see live view.

Add to EZVIZ App

1 Create a user account.

• Connect your mobile phone to Wi-Fi (suggested).
• Search for "EZVIZ" in the App Store or Google Play.
• Download and install the EZVIZ app.
• Launch the app and register an EZVIZ user account.

2 Add camera to EZVIZ.

• Log in the EZVIZ app.
• On the Home screen, tap "+" on the upper-right corner to go to the scan QR code page.

• Scan the QR code.

• Follow the EZVIZ app wizard to finish Wi-Fi configuration.

If you failed to get the QR code or want to reconfigure Wi-Fi, please hold the Home button for 5 seconds to reset and repeat the steps above.

Charge the Panel

Connect the panel with the power outlet via power adapter.

You can also take off the panel to charge by holding the dismantle button to remove it from the mounting base. Please disconnect the wire carefully.

Thank you for purchasing Hangzhou EZVIZ Software Co., Ltd. ("EZVIZ") products. This limited warranty ("warranty") gives you, the original purchaser of the EZVIZ product, specific legal rights. You may also have other legal rights that vary by state, province or jurisdiction. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser of the product. "Original purchaser" means any consumer having purchased the EZVIZ product from an authorized seller. The disclaimers, exclusions, and limitations of liability under this warranty will not apply to the extent prohibited by applicable law. No distributor, reseller, agent, or employee is authorized to make any modification, extension, or addition to this warranty.

Your EZVIZ product is warranted for a period of two (2) years from the date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship, or such longer period as may be required by law in the country or state where this product is sold, when used normally in accordance with user manual.

You can request warranty service by contacting our Customer Service.

For any defective EZVIZ products under warranty, EZVIZ will, at its option, (i) repair or replace your product free of charge; (ii) exchange your product with a functional equivalent product; or (iii) refund the original purchase price, provided you provide the original purchase receipt or copy, a brief explanation of the defect, and return the product in its original packaging. At EZVIZ's sole discretion, repair or replacement may be made with a new or refurbished product or components. This warranty does not cover the shipping cost, insurance, or any other incidental charges incurred by you in returning the product.

Except where prohibited by applicable law, this is your sole and exclusive remedy for breach of this warranty. Any product that has either been repaired or replaced under this warranty will be covered by the terms of this warranty for the longer of ninety (90) days from the date of delivery or the remaining original warranty period.

This warranty does not apply and is void:

If the warranty claim is made outside the warranty period or if the proof of purchase is not provided;
- For any malfunction, defect, or failure caused by or resulting from the evidence of impact; mishandling; tampering; use contrary to the applicable instruction manual; incorrect power line voltage; accident; loss; theft; fire; flood; or other Acts of God; shipping damage; or damage resulting from repairs performed by unauthorized personnel;
- For any consumable parts, such as batteries, where the malfunction is due to the normal aging of the product;
- Cosmetic damage, including but not limited to scratches, dents, and broken plastic on ports;
Any software, even if packaged or sold with EZVIZ hardware;
- For any other damages free from defects in material or workmanship;
- Routine cleaning, normal cosmetic and mechanical wear and tear.
