How to use the Nedis KAWD300FBK kettle for the first time?
Before first use, clean the exterior with a damp cloth. Fill the water tank to the 'max' mark and run two complete hot water dispensing cycles without drinking the water, to rinse the interior of the product.

Before first use

  1. Clean the product with a damp cloth.
  2. Place the product on a stable and flat surface.
  3. Connect the power cable A 9 to a power outlet.

When you first use this product, perform two full cycles to clean the inside of the product.

Filling the water tank

  1. Remove the top lid A 6 from the water tank A 7.
  2. Fill A 7 to the "max" on the water level indicator A8.

Do not fill the water tank above the "max" on A8.

Do not fill the water tank below the "min" on A8.

Do not spill any water on the product.

  1. Place A 6 back on A7.

Tapping hot water

Do not remove A 6 while hot water is dispensed.

  1. Place a glass under the spout A 3.
  2. Select the preferred temperature and volume settings.
  3. Tap the on / off button A 24.
    Hot water flows from A 3 until the set volume has been dispensed.
  4. Press A 24 to manually stop the cycle.

Emptying the drip plate

  1. Place one hand on A 6 to stabilize the product.
  2. Lift up the drip tray A 5 with the other hand.
  3. Remove the drip plate A 4.
  4. Empty A 5.
  5. Place A 4 back on A 5.
  6. Place A 5 back on the product.

Replacing the filter

  1. Remove A 6.
  2. Take out the filter box A 14 including the filter A 13.

Recalibrating the volume and temperature

  1. Place a water container underneath A 3.

  2. Tap and hold A 18 for 3 seconds.

A15 shows "AUT".

A16 shows "000".

  1. Tap A 24.

The machine recalibrates the volume and temperature.

During the process water is dispensed through A 3. After 4-5 minutes the machine automatically exits the calibration mode.

Resetting the product

-Place the reset key A 12 into the reset hole A 1. The machine automatically exits the reset mode.

Descaling the product

  1. Remove A 6.
  2. Fill A 7 with 1000 ml of white vinegar.
  3. Add water to the max.
  4. Place A 6 back on A 7.
  5. Tap and hold A 23 for 3 seconds.
  6. Remove A 6.
  7. Fill A ⑦ with clean water to the max.
  8. Place 6 back on A7.
  9. Tap and hold A 23 for 3 seconds.

  10. Repeat step 6 - 9 until the odor of vinegar has been flushed away.
