USER MANUAL ORWK215 Orima
- Please read these instructions carefully before using the jug kettle for the first time.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above if they have been given supervision or instruction concerninguse of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged less than 8 years
- Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
- Children shall not play with the appliance.
- This appliance is intended to be used inhousehold and similar applications such as: – staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments; – farm houses; – by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments; – bed and breakfast type environments.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
- If the kettle is overfilled, boiling water may be ejected.

- The kettle is only to be used with the stand provided.· Before you connect the kettle to the mains supply, make sure that the voltage indicated on the rating plate, located on the bottom of the jug kettle matches the mains voltage in your home. If it does not, contact your dealer and do not use the kettle.
- The kettle will switch off automatically when the water has boiled. You may switch the kettle off before the boiling process if complete by using the on/off switch.
- After the kettle has switched off automatically (or has been switched of manually) it may need time to cool down. After 15-20secs, the kettle can be switched on again.
- If the kettle ever boils dry, the kettle will switch off automatically and the power indicator will go out. Allow 15 minutes to cool before refilling with cold water. The safety cutout will automatically reset during this time.
- Place the kettle on a stable flat surface.
- Ensure that the kettle is switched off before removing it from its stand.
- Never immerse the kettle or cord in water or any other liquid. Do not allow liquid to penetrate the electrical parts of this kettle.
- Prevent children from pulling on the mains cord or knocking the kettle over.
- Ensure that the mains lead does not overhang the worktop surface.
- Before cleaning the kettle disconnect from the power supply and wait until it was cooled down.
- Only use the cord supplied with this kettle. If a replacement is required, only approved components may be used.
- The outside surface of the kettle may get hot during use, please take care when using the kettle.
- Never fill in water more than the maximum acceptable water level.
- Keep electrical appliance out of reach from Children or infirm persons. Do not let them use the appliance without supervision.
Before first use Before first use, it is recommended to operate the kettle for 2 or 3 times following the instructions above, this will remove any dust or residues remaining from themanufacturing process.
- Take up the jug kettle from the base before filling.
- To fill the jug kettle, open the cover by press the lid-lever downwards, then fill to the desired level (min 0.5L-Max.17L), close the lid by pressing it down until it clicks into place.
- Plug the power supply cord into the main, press the On/Off switch, the power indicator lights up.
- When the water has boiled the kettle will automatically switch itself off, you can stop the boiling process at any time by lifting the On/Off switch. The power indicator will go out. Note: Do not open the lid when steam is coming out of the spout. Cleaning

- Avoid using abrasive cleaning agents.
- Empty the kettle and allow to cool, open the lid, lift out the filter, rinse the filter under warm water and brush off any impurities.
- Refitting is the reverse of removal. Descaling
- Half fill the kettle with tap water and add the juice of 1 lemon to the water.
- Boil this mixture and allow it to stand for 15 minutes. Re-boil the mixture and allow it to stand a further 15 minutes. Re-boil this mixture a third time then rinse the kettle well.
